Guest Reviews
- Michael (10/5): - Food standard was very good standard with a blend of traditional portions as well. Friendly staff and very laid back made the perfect holiday destination.
- Lynne (10/5): - We loved being able to walk out of our fale, straight onto the beach, sit on our deck and listen to the waves, enjoy the sea and sunsets, the stars.
The staff create a loving welcoming space where you feel part of the family, we were there 11 nights.
The meals were very beautifully presented, Samoan local dishes, very well done by a team who aimed to please.
This is a delightful place to stay and the location is a tropical paradise, an added bonus of snorkelling in the lagoon out the front, where the coral is regenerating and lots of beautiful tropical fish to be seen.
- Tyrone (10/5): Great Fale in Samoa! - Everything about the property was comfortable for a Fale. They served great food for dinner and breakfast. The staff was always helpful and with a smile.
- Christopher John Gladstone (10/5): - This is a lovely, friendly, family run business, and it shows.
- Jeremy (10/5): - Amazing place to stay. Lovely outlook and direct access to the sea. The food was delicious and the service incredible. Will definitely be going back!!
- Jonathan (10/5): - Great
- Mark (6/5): - The location and people were awesome and we enjoyed the variety of food. Accommodation is basic. Shared bathrooms are poor and badly in need of an upgrade. But again the location and views were excellent and reasonable snorkelling close to shore on the East side. Tx - we enjoyed it.
- John (10/5): - Our stay at Litia's was more than we could have ever dreamed of. Everything was exceptional! It was paradise. The view, the beach, the food, the fale were all incredible.
But it was the hospitality of the staff at Litia's that created such an amazing experience for us. We will cherish these memories for the rest of our lives
- Yvonne (10/5): - Fabulous location. Would have liked our own bathroom but the shared one worked OK. Great that breakfast and dinner included and nice food with generous helpings - just no choice what you get. Staff are lovely and very helpful. A fab place for those with a modest budget wanting a great experience and top location
- Lisa (8/5): - To be clear:
* There's no ensuites in the fales. Bathroom is a shared block.
* There's no soaps, shampoo etc
* There's no hot water. (Given the temps of Samoa many places don't have hot water. It was ok)
* There's no choice for breakfast or dinner. You get what you're given. (We were good with that. Mostly seafood for dinner. Eggs & tropical fruit for brekkie which we enjoyed)
* Rooms aren't serviced, though you can request clean towels (which we did), & a service (which we didn't need in our 5 night stay)
* Beach towels aren't provided.
What we loved:
* Location & fale right on the beach
* Magnificent ocean & sunset views
* Quiet village
* Helpful kind staff
* Ease of having breakfast & dinner included
* Beautiful dining deck
* Snorkeling right in front of our fale!
What could've been better:
* Individual shower cubicles needed a good clean. The grout was black & the soap & shampoo shelf was grotty - along with the waste bin for hand towels (putting the paper towel in without touching the swing lid was challenging!) Same goes for the door of the bathroom block (after getting clean I hesitated to touch the door). It was ok, but it would make all the difference if these few things were attended to because everything else in the resort was clean & well presented.
* Fales were simple. Beds (that took up most of the space in the centre of the room) & bench for belongings.
Lots of good on offer here. We really enjoyed it and would go back in a heartbeat.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great experience! Highly recommend - Amazing and unbeatable location on Lalomanu beach, and an all round fantastic experience! Would highly recommend, but have realistic expectations and do your research :)
The food was perfect for me, lots of delicious fresh tropical fruit and always an offer if you want more!
Terrific and welcoming service, thanks everyone especially Lydia, Mary and Sandra!
- Natasha (10/5): - I had an incredible stay with my 17 and 21 year old children. Beautiful location, staff are welcoming and take good care. Meals are delicious, and happily catered for our special dietary needs (we avoid peanuts and meat).
We hired a car in Apia, which allowed us to explore the many sights and experience something new every day.
- Lauren (10/5): - More like a retreat! Left feeling well rested and relaxed. Right on the beach- fall asleep listening to the sound of the ocean. A car would be advantageous as this beautiful accomodation is quite far from other amenities.
- Donna (10/5): - Stunning location beautiful staff incredible experience Lydia and her team amazing talofa lava
- Connie (4/5): - Cold showers only and very basic food
- Rachel Anne (10/5): - Wonderful hospitality in a beautiful setting. The owners and staff couldn't do enough for us. The food was amazing and varied. Free access to snorkling equipment. Basic accommodation but very clean.
- Inoke (4/5): - The rooms were good except there was no fridge or kettle and all the rooms had a shared bathroom which was annoying, especially at night for our young children.
Twice we were ready to dine and we had to witness one of their cats come in with a mouse and the 2nd time it was a dead rat! Very unhygienic and unclean for eating customers.
However, the good portions were perfect and the combinations of food served was great!
Thank you

- Rachel (10/5): - Beautiful location. Friendly and kind staff. Nice food.
- Rachael (8/5): - The staff are warm and welcoming throughout the entire stay. Will definitely be going back
- Kim (10/5): - We had a fabulous stay at Litia Sini, the staff are very welcoming and accommodating. The beach front Fales are basic with the best view. The beach is a stones throw away with the reef not far beyond, if you have issues sleeping a back fale would be a better option as the sea is quite loud. Breakfast and dinner is included here which is a great way to sample Samoan food. Would definitely recommend Litia Sini.
- Jessica (10/5): - Loved our stay at Litia Sini! Everyone was so lovely & accommodating. The rooms were comfortable & the beach was beautiful. Delicious breakky & dinner included plus the lunch menu we tried was even better! We’ll definitely stay again if we come back to Samoa & will be recommending to all our family and friends.
- Ian (10/5): - Loved the simplicity and authenticity of Litia Sini. Very friendly thoughtful staff.
Shared toilets and showers (cold water only) clean and tidy and never had to wait.
Beautiful being right on the waves.
- Elaine (10/5): - Lovely stay. Dinner made excellent value
- Stephanie (10/5): - We had a truly wonderful stay at Litia Sini. Beautiful breakfasts and dinners included. Really friendly and welcoming staff. Access to Lalomanu beach on the doorstep of the fales. I would recommend this to anyone looking for something a more authentic and intimate than a typical resort.
- Raquel (8/5): - We had a lovely holiday at Litia Sini Beach, the fales are confortable and the service is excellent, the best was the quality of the meals (breakfast and dinner) included. Highly recommended!
- Emily (10/5): - Such a beautiful location. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Would definatly recommemd.
- Chris (10/5): - Swimming awesome,staff great,nice fales,just an enjoyable experience
- Allan (8/5): - Enjoyed our stay at Litia Sini.
Great location.
Note that bathrooms are shared.
Food options very basic.
- Roma (10/5): Awesome resort - On arrival, staff were ready to take our luggage to the rooms. The owner is very friendly and helpful with a smile. Open door policy. Place is kept clean daily. Always immaculate. Staff are hard working with great customer service. Breakfast and dinner varies nightly and cooked with love. So, the flavours come through. Staff will cater to dietary requirements.
Bedrooms have a ceiling fan and louvre windows giving you the simple pleasures. Nice ocean breeze keeps you cool throughout the night.
We stumbled on to Litia Sini due to late bookings. So comfortable, living simple away from the concrete jungle. So glad we lucked into it.
This will likely be the top choice for us moving foward.
Keep up the Great work Lydia and team!

Litia Sini will likely be the top choice for Lalomanu moving foward. As we've been to quite a few of them now.
Keep up the Great work Lydia and team!
Fa'afetai tele lava,
- Amelia (10/5): - This place is very very special. The staff are so lovely and helpful. The food is delicious and innovative, it was so much fun to be surprised by the different meals each day. Lydia is a very gracious host. The location is utterly magical. We loved every minute of our time here and would have stayed forever if we could!
- Amy (8/5): - Lovely beach fales on the beach front. Perfect location. Food was really yummy and plenty offered. Mary was amazing she really made my stay enjoyable.
There were no basic toiletries including soap in the bathrooms which was not good.
Beds were comfortable and clean sheets.
Very beautiful location and close to lots of attractions. Highly recommend this accommodation. Take snacks and own soap!
- Marta (8/5): - Lovely staff and tasty meals. The view is spectacular from the fales.
Thank you!
- Jeff (10/5): - The property was right on the beach front
- Miriam (10/5): - We had the most beautiful holiday staying at Litia Sini.
Lydia and Joseph and their team make you feel warmly welcomed and create a wonderful and relaxing atmosphere.
The Felas are simple and very convenient, right at the stunning beach.
Delicious breakfast and dinner are provided every day.
We will definitely visit again staying at Litia Sini.
Thank you so much!
- Michael (10/5): - Was a lovely relaxed place with friendly attentive staff and great food prepared for you so you got to try little tastes of local. Loved the fact breakfast and dinner were included.
- Andi (10/5): - 10/10 experience. We had the most amazing time here, it was the highlight of our trip! Everything from the food, to the customer service and the people as exceptional! Would highly recommend.
- Kathryn (10/5): - We loved our stay at Litia Sini Beach Fales, from start to finish, everyone was so friendly and relaxed. The beach and natural landscape is beautiful. Breakfast and dinner was yum! and introduced the kids to new food (including banana donuts!).
- Rory (10/5): - Staff are super friendly, making an effort to learn our names and make sure we are well looked after. Love the small plates as menu and ask for more of what you like dining. Seared tuna was amazing. If you are coming from the Europe or US you need to understand that you are coming to a traditional Samoan beach fale. Not a 5* hotel. Once you have done that you will be blown away by the location the service and the friendly welcome. Would definitely stay again.
- LINDA ANNE (10/5): - We have just had the most amazing holiday at Litia Sini fales. Don't be put off by shared bathrooms and cold showers as in 30 deg with humidity a cold shower is exactly what you will feel like. Beautiful staff, family friendly, sensational food, especially the seafood, extensive cocktail menu. The only decision you need to make is swim or eat. We will be returning again and again. Thank you Lydia and staff
- Kelsi (6/5): - Lovely and quiet area right on the beach, great that breakfast and dinner are included. Bed frames could use improvement and if you struggle with the heat, the ceiling fan doesn’t cool you down enough. Overall was a nice few days in this location.
- Alister (4/5): - It was cheap but you get what you pay. The general staff were very nice and helpful. The fales were less than basic with two home made beds and two small home made side tables and nothing else. One power socket and two ceiling lights that you couldn't read by at night. The deck had a table and two plastic chairs. All in need of maintainance.
The food was average with the only choice being you eat it or you didn't.
We found the beach to be very dangerous with hugh rips running.
- Grant (10/5): - We loved our stay at Litia Sini, the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and well organized. We left our mobile on the shuttle with Lydia and the teams help we arranged for the phone to get back to New Zealand
- Helen (8/5): - Top outstanding location, pristine beach with idyllic snorkeling and swimming right at the doorstep of our fale. Top notch food!!! and impeccable staff service.
There's no bathroom in the fales, but the shared bathrooms were kept very clean. The fales were spacious and mattresses comfortable, but no fridge or kettle and cups to make a coffee or tea during the day.
I think it would be very helpful if there was a black or whiteboard with activities listed that are in the vacinity or must see tourist attractions. We missed out on a cultural event right next door as we did not know. I think a few activities to entertain guests, like weaving or learniing about what grows in the area would be enjoyable. This could be paid for by guests who are interested. A movie night on a screen would be nice entertainment as there's not TV or wifi at there.
However, I would rate this holiday destination very highly.
- Peter (10/5): - Beautiful quiet location right on the beachfront. Lovely to fall asleep listening to waves lapping on the shore below (once you've adapted to the heat that is ! (no aircon)). Staff are superfriendly and helpful. Facilities are kept clean & tidy. Meals (included) were tasty and varied. Limited transport options nearby, so you will need a rental car or taxi if you wish to explore. Perfect spot for those who wish to sit & unwind in tranquility.
- Warren (6/5): - Not so good)Seperate amenity block , no shower heads and cold water ,31 degree heat no air conditioning
Good) Balcony right on the beautiful beach , wonderful staff , yummy food which made up for it
- Kim (10/5): - What a gem!! Breezy gorgeous Beach front fale with steps down into the ocean. The best sleeps ever and inclusive breakfast and dinners cooked and served with love 💕. Staff so caring and generous. Thanks and big alofa’s Litia Sini 💫. Kimi and Kelly
- Vera (10/5): - After many people added comments about the cold shower I was afraid for my 3 years old kid. But I must say that I had more than 1 shower a day and it was very refreshing. The owner and staff are amazing people. We are a family of 3 on a vegan diet and they try for the all 5 days to give us the best food possible. Tasty fruits and pancakes for breakfast and dinner with lots of veggies. In the last 3 days of the 5 I started to call the chef “mommy”. I really recommend the Litia if you looking for a quiet, amazing beach and family feeling in Samoa for your holidays. ❤️
- Rachel (10/5): - Wonderful, friendly, extraordinarily relaxing in a non-resort way
- Chanterelle (10/5): - We loved our stay at Litia Sini Beach Fales. Absolutely stunning beach and property. The fales were clean and comfortable, and the bathrooms were kept nice and clean throughout the day. We love that it is a family run business and the family are so lovely and welcoming. We enjoyed all of the provided meals, lots of variety and very tasty. Overall a very pleasant experience. We’re going to miss fale life and can’t wait to visit again soon! Fa'afetai lava
- Lloyd (10/5): - We loved our stay here. Such an amazing location with a beautiful beach at the doorstep. Staff were excellent so happy and helpful
We will definetly stay here again on our next trip to Samoa
- Robert (6/5): - The staff were friendly.
The location is amazing.
The food is not as advertised and was very disappointing.
If they could improve the quality and variety of the breakfast and dinner I would go back again.
- Ian (10/5): - Staff very friendly and great relaxed atmosphere
- Stavroula Ritsa (10/5): - We absolutely loved our stay, peaceful, beautiful, simple….friendly staff traditional food. Amazing location, such a great place to relax and unwind.
- Lisa (10/5): - Absolutely loved our stay. The beach was idyllic and the staff and food were awesome. Location was also perfect with giant clams, Namua Island and the trench all very close. We will definitely be back! Only suggestion would be a standalone fan in the rooms to help combat the heat at night.
- Julie (10/5): - We loved our stay at this property. Friendly and welcoming. The food was really good. Real Samoa style with a really nice beach front aspect, great for snorkelling and swimming.
- David (10/5): - Stunning location, friendly staff and nice meals.
- Damian (10/5): - Wonderful daily breakfasts and dinners included whilst spending time in paradise
- Jana Jay Hera (8/5): - I was expecting a room with bathroom & mini fridge, air conditioning.
