Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Staff were great as was the view of the Himalayans!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Hill station hotel - Very pleasant and charming hotel, with great view to mountain ranges
- GraemeLancashire (6/5): 5 STAR VIEW, 3 NEPAL STAR ACCOMMODATION - Firstly the views towards the mountains on a clear day are superb from the Restaurant and main building balcony. The hotel is in quite good condition generally and was clean. The staff are mixed with some being very friendly and helpful whilst some including the management were distant and unhelpful. The hot water is only available for 2 three hour periods a day but even that was erratic on our stay. The bedrooms were a good size and clean but the bathroom was a bit antiquated. The sad thing about the room was it had a balcony looking towards the mountains but the view was blocked by tall trees. The restaurant was clean and had the great views especially at breakfast. The food was good without being brilliant. There is free Wifi in the main building.
- Traveller_Munich (6/5): okay - the hotel is okay but not great. the room was overall clean but in the bathroom there was a gas bottle behind an unstable wooden cover. the gas was lead to the warm water boiler in a very unsafe way (in my judgment at least).
the food was good but in the Restaurant in the second floor there were many dead flies around. In general, it did not look too clean in the restaurant.
otherwise, it is a good location and good view and the staff was friendly.
- ClassicKathmandu (8/5): Hotel in Nepal - The best panaromic hotel in Dhulikhel, Kathmandu, Nepal at the foot hill of Mount Everest. You have the total experience for tranquility.
- Dominik618 (6/5): Mirabel Resort Hotel - For work related reasons I have spent quite a bit of time in Dhulikhel and although I haven't stayed at all the many hotels in town I have visited most of them at one time or another. In my opinion the Mirabel is the best option. The rooms are clean, the staff friendly, the restaurant food, though mainly limited to Nepali cuisine, is satisfactory but the best thing about this hotel is the magnificent view of the Himalayas from your room (all rooms) in the morning - well worth getting up early for! I stayed in the Mirabel outside of the tourist season and was able to easily negotiate a large discount on the price of my room.
