We checked out an got our deposit an the staff has to check the room. We waited over 20 mins an had to ask multiple times if it was complete. Which didn't really matter to us cause we already had our deposit back. But they could be a little more on top of letting the customer know everything was good.

- Jeff (10/5): - Location was great. Beachfront access and the pool was really nice. Breakfast was decent with good variety. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Worked well for our family with two kids at ages 4 and 7. Will stay again when we come back.

Had a lovely room on the 5th floor in the West Wing overlooking the pool. Location is central and near everything. Lovely swimming pool. Two restaurants with good food. They assisted with booking tours. Nothing, it was all good.

- Héctor (8/5): Fantastic Resort - The location is fantastic. Right at the edge of Station 2, you can get to the Dmall in 5 minutes. Breakfast is great with many options—local and western alike. The pool is awesome. Clean and with both shade and sun. The staff was very kind and pleasant. Always happy to help. The bed was quite hard and uncomfortable. It's such a basic thing to get wrong for such an amazing resort otherwise.

- Renato (6/5): All and all, my partner and had a pleasant stayed - Great location. I reckon station 2 is the best location coz you can walk towards station 1 or you can walk towards station 3. The beach access from the hotel is something you take pride in- very elegant. The landscape and the large pool is truly 5 stars. Great selections of buffet breakfast!The staff are very friendly and professional. All and all, my partner and I had pleasant 7 nights stayed in Mandarin Bay. Tips: If you want hassle free transfer and feel like VIP guests, make a booking of your transport transfer from the airport to Boracay Island. I read a review before booking that the bathroom has sewage smells. Perhaps they fix this issue already but Yes the bathroom has smells I needed to turn on the exhaust fan 24/7 to get rid the smell. The room is look tired. The TV is useless despite I requested to change the batteries . They don’t supply face cloths in the bathroom. I’m looking for signs to put on the door e.g. Do not disturb or Make up my room but nothing available. Phoning the “0” number for request or concern is an issue- I can’t hear the person on the other side of the line. For unknown reason, they stopped servicing my room on the 6th day I’ve been waiting for whole day but at the end I just requested fresh towels. 🤨

- Joao (9/5): 5 star hotel and great location - Superb location and quality of the hotel, excellent breakfast. The staff is amazing and goes the extra mile to make sure you have a great stay. My bags did not arrive at airport from El Nido, they took care of everything and made sure that I had them next day The sun beds at the beach are very few and of poor quality. The hotels on the side, despite not so luxurious have better sun beds with mattresses, also other Mandarin hotels in Boracay have better sunbeads. It’s the only little thing that does not fit the quality of the hotel

Property is beautiful and exceptionally lit at night. This Property is the best on beach. Get the breakfast buffet included. It is Excellent. The dinner buffet with prime rib and pork is awesome aswell. Pizza at hotel Italian restaurant is great. Rooms are large and very comfortable. Property is newer with no signs of age.

The special touches like sweets and fruit plates were an awesome feature. Food in both restaurants were not our fave. Felt there was more Asian options for breakfast. Was hoping for some oatmeal or raisin bread. Options were much the same each morning. Italian restaurant, pizza and calamari weren't edible. Pizza was undercooked, calamari were like chips very hard. A few mornings where we got seated for breakfast to find our seat taken or we were moved without notice . This was quite annoying for us.

- MariuszMM (10/5): The Crown Jewel of Philippine Resorts – Mandarin Bay Resort & Spa - With each new hotel we visited in the Philippines, things kept getting better… but Mandarin Bay completely blew us away. I wasn’t convinced at first — until we walked through the doors. Wow. This was a real resort! People from outside were even coming just to take photos in front of the hotel. The decorations were stunning — especially the Christmas setup during our visit. The food? So good that a few extra kilos were inevitable after just a few days. Italian restaurant heaven: pizzas possibly better than in Italy and cocktails that made us happy every evening. Our room? Absolutely gorgeous — I mean, a real wow factor. But the true treasure was the staff. Every single person greeted us like an old friend and made sure we felt completely comfortable and taken care of. According to my better half, this was hands down the best hotel in the Philippines. And honestly… I can’t argue with that! N/A

- Severin (10/5): Tot volgend jaar! - We verbleven hier 10 nachten en hebben uiteindelijk nog een aantal dagen bijgeboekt. De locatie is geweldig, je zit precies in het midden van Boracay en hebt alles op loopafstand. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk en maakt met iedereen contact. Het zwembad is heerlijk en je hebt een aantal bedjes in het water zelfs om in te chillen. Kamer was mooi, schoon en wordt elke dag keurig weer opgemaakt en schoongemaakt. Dat de muziek aan het water veels te hard staat. Als je rustig aan het water wilt relaxen en/of wilt lezen is dat onmogelijk. Alsof je in een concertzaal staat. En de Djembe spelers die de nieuwe mensen verwelkomen. Daar heb ik meerdere klachten over gehoord om ons heen.

- Maureen (8/5): Great hotel for the value. - Clean. Friendly staff specially ( Uriel and Marriane ) Beautiful views. No microwave in hotel room. TV in hotel room is outdated/ very slow when trying to use the apps.

- Mary Mae (10/5): Awesome stay at Mandarin Bay! - We love our stay at Mandarin Bay Resort & Spa. We went there for my mother's birthday and they went above and beyond in surprising her from the tv banner greetings to the birthday balloons. The breakfast buffet was great, we also tried the buffet dinner. We love the pool, the rooms were spacious, all the staff were great and accommodating. None.

- Chantrea (6/5): Did not feel like a 5 star hotel - The staffs were excellent. This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel, but felt like a 3 star. The hotel is in a soft opening phase, but it already shows signs of wear. We stayed on the main floor facing the swimming pool so it's understandable that the flooring would get wet, but the hotel designer chose vinyl flooring which shows signs of peelings on their 2nd year of opening. We stayed in a family room that includes a private bedroom but that was the only privacy. Bathroom doesn't feel private considering staying in a "family" size hotel room. The large mirror in thr hallway that faced the bathroom made the bathroom look larger, but it felt uncomfortable to dress/undress before and after showering because of the view that can be seen into the bathroom from the hallway bench and beds. At least add a door for a large family hotel room. We still need some sort of privacy. Overall, the lobby and swimming pool looks very nice, but everything else did not make it feel like it is a 5 star hotel and this is just in their soft opening phase. The price is extremely reasonable for me as an American so perhaps I got what I paid for. We chose to stay at this hotel because it was newer and we wanted to be close to all the restaurants in station 2. My in-laws also stayed in the same hotel with us on this trip, but on a different floor level. They said it wasn't the best craftsmanship compared to the other chain hotels in station 2 (H....) from their previous trips.
