As Yogi Berra once said, “The food was bad and there wasn’t enough of it.” Wray coffee, 3 series cereals and make your own waffles.

The owners are local, so kind and caring. As well as the staff, I was there from Michigan for my father’s health, they always concerned. NOTHING!

There was a hum all night long outside the window. Sounded like a car running but it must have been equipment or something for the hotel. I would have liked to have two pillows per person.

Nicole (10/5): Great hotel for a family trip - My family stayed in a double queen room. It was spacious and included a sink, refrigerator and microwave in the main bedroom area. The bathroom was much bigger than a normal hotel bathroom. I appreciated not feeling crowded. Everything was very clean. The breakfast included scrambled eggs, potatoes, waffles, cereal and bagels. The staff was friendly and were very thorough in their explanation of everything. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in town again.

We found a nice restaurant in an old church. Breakfast was average - eggs, potatoes, bagels, cereal, waffles, juice. The hallway smelled like stale cigarette smoke even though all the rooms appeared to be non smoking

Cindy (8/5): Good value for a decent night's rest. - The room was pretty quiet and the beds were comfortable. Mini kitchen with microwave and sink. We had a dog with us and that was a good experience (not over charged). Good value! "Breakfast Buffet" consisted of a few plain store-bought bagels, a waffle maker and 3 cereals. However, the room came with a tourist packet and had a $20 voucher for local businesses, which we used for a breakfast just down the street. The entrance off the main street is funky - a pothole-ridden dirt lot next to the hotel.

Jean (7/5): Great night sleep, breakfast lacking. - The room was basic (fridge, micro, no coffee maker), but very clean. Dated decor, but for the price we got a good night's sleep. The bed was comfortable and house keeping made up the room for our second nights stay. Quiet and peaceful. Easy access to restaurants. Advertising a Breakfast Buffet is a huge stretch of the imagination. Apparently, during the week, they offer only carbs. A few bagels (no cream cheese) sweet cereals and waffles that the staff had to make for you. The hot water was tepid and the coffee weak. No protein whatsoever. No healthy options like yogurt or fruit. I ate my leftover dinner for breakfast.

Nathan (10/5): A very nice stay at an extremely low cost. - I was very impressed with the level of quality relative to the very low cost. I typically stay at the cheapest hotels available and am used to the downsides of budget inns. However the facility was in great shape, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious, soundproofed and very clean. There was nothing negative about my stay. I can't recommend the Sunset Inn strongly enough.

David (6/5): Although it was a clean and friendly place, we will probably not stay there again. - Rooms were very clean. Staff was very friendly. Bed was too firm so rest was not great. Elevator was out the entire 5 days that we stayed. We are older and it was difficult for us. It would have been nice to have been notified before cancelation deadline so that we could have made other arrangements. Very disappointed with breakfast. We would get to the kitchen a little after 7 and hardly anything to eat. We ended up buying breakfast elsewhere because of the lack of food.
