The staff were fantastic — always friendly and helpful — and the accommodation was perfect. A truly special place that we would happily visit again!

veronique (8/5): Cadre magnifique - L'hôtel est tres joli, chambres et parties extérieures. Disponibles sur place : restaurant, location de scouters, de vélos, de paddle ... Les chambres ne sont pas climatisées, il y a un ventilateur mais c'est bien moins agréable et efficace. Si vous louez des scooters, à la restitution sachez qu'ils sont à rendre avant minuit, ce n'est pas 24h de location comme cela se fait partout.

Sacha (8/5): Beetje een resort vibe, in een oase van rust - Prachtige plek, en restaurant was ook echt heel lekker (en veel vega opties). Personeel ook heel vriendelijk. Douche werd niet warm, wc trok niet door (maar dit laatste werd snel gemaakt).

Kerstin (8/5): Tropische Hotel in guter Lage um Bohol zu erkunden - Die Gartenanlage war wie ein Botanischer Garten. Wir hatten das 4 Bettzimmer, da kein anderes mehr zu buchen war für den Zeitraum. Für Zweit ist es gut aber mit 4 wird es tatsächlich eng. Schön ist, dass man direkt eine kleine Terrasse hatte und man daher einen schönen Blick in die Weite. Die Dusche war herrlich und die Geräuschkulisse am Morgen tropisch . Das Restaurant gemütlich aber dennoch waren wir nicht immer dort.. Zuerst: die Tour mit Glühwürmchen war leider nicht so toll wie wir erwartet hatten. Man sieht diese nur weit entfernt und man darf auch nicht alleine paddeln sondern muss mit Begleiter fahren und ist so nicht im eigenem Tempo paddeln. Die Tour würden wir tatsächlich nicht noch einmal machen. Es gibt kein Moskitonetz im Zimmer und doch gibt es am Abend viele auf der Terrasse. Also sollte man lieber die Tür zulassen. Zwischen Hotel und Fluss liegt eine Straße und auf dem Steg gibt es keine Möglichkeit sich hinzulegen oder zu sitzen . Das ist wirklich schade. Baden gehen ist also nicht möglich…

The gardens, tasty onsite restaurant, and staff were all great. Definitely do the sup night firefly tour, it was cool. We were happy with everything.

Matthew (10/5): - The staff is amazing. So friendly and accommodating. The restaurant has delicious food and a great variety at that! This place is a must visit. Quiet location off the main road, yet close enough to the main part of town. It felt like a jungle hideaway. I would highly recommend staying there!

Manuel (8/5): Ein schöner Aufenthalt im Grünen - Die Lage ist ruhig und direkt am Loboc River. Die Anlage hat einen wunderbaren Garten und unser Zimmer war sauber und gut ausgestattet. Man kann viel unternehmen: Wir haben direkt am Abend der Ankunft noch spontan an der Glühwürmchentour teilgenommen und am nächsten Tag eine coole Mountainbiketour mitgemacht. Beides konnte man problemlos kurzfristig buchen und beides war super. Die Massage war auch sehr zu empfehlen. Das Ausleihen des Rollers war unkompliziert möglich. Man sollte den Roller bitte auf Mängel überprüfen, wobei uns jedoch sofort ein anderer Roller angeboten wurde, als wir nicht zufrieden waren. Das Essen im Restaurant war zwar super lecker, aber am ersten Abend wurde unsere Vorabbestellung wohl nicht weitergegeben und am zweiten Tag warteten wir sehr sehr lang auf das Frühstück, das wir letztendlich in kürzester Zeit verspeisen mussten, um pünktlich zur gebuchten Tour zu erscheinen.

Anne (9/5): Deux nuits dans un cadre magnifiques face à la rivière Loboc. - J’ai adoré la balade de nuit en SUP sur la rivière Loboc. Le logement est calme et le restaurant excellent. La douche en cascade en extérieur est superbe ! Le cafard dans ma chambre même si ça peut arriver. Pas de service de blanchisserie dans le resort. Il fallait aller au bout de la rue et nos vêtements sont revenus encore sales.

Gorgeous, well appointed huts with outdoor bathrooms and little deck to relax in the ha mock on. So easy to book activities and we loved the SUP fireflies tour. The food at the restaurant was beautiful also. The little touches like the plug in bug zapper were appreciated as well as a line to hang wet swimwear. Not that it was a problem for us but it isn’t close to town so if that’s important to you it’s worth knowing. The rooms are small so a bit tight with our luggage inside also. Not that it would change anything for us! Wish we’d stayed longer!

Nele (8/5): Mooi resort in de natuur. - Heel mooi resortje in een groene omgeving, vlakbij de rivier. Personeel was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Nette kamer en badkamer. Lekker eten. Geen frigo op de kamer. Prijzen voor bvb een taxi of om een SUP te huren waren een stuk hoger dan bij de buren. Wij gingen dus daar.
Margit (10/5): Tolle kleine Anlage, die für die Philippinen außergewöhnlich ist. - Die Cottages sind in einem gepflegten tropischen Garten gebaut, unseres hatte Aussicht auf Reisfelder. Alles ist sehr sauber. Das Restaurant nett eingerichtet und die Auswahl an Speisen sehr ansprechend. Es gibt typisch philippinische Gerichte mit Produkten aus dem eigenen Garten oder der Region. Es gibt siwohl vegane, vegetarische oder auch Fleisch- und Seafood- Gerichte. Dazu verschiedene frische Säfte. Am Hotel kann man im Loboc River schwimmen oder SUP ausleihen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist super! Wir würden das Fox&Fireflys jederzeit wieder buchen und empfehlen es gerne weiter. Nichts
Giulia (10/5): - L'alloggio è situato proprio in prossimità del fiume Loboc, immerso nel verde e in un'atmosfera di pace. E' dotato di tutti i comfort e di personale gentilissimo e molto disponibile. Les massages proposés sont aussi incroyables. Il y a un service de navette pour l’aéroport donc aucune contrainte pour venir. De plus l’hôtel loue des scooters à la journée et propose des excursions pour découvrir l’île. Enfin nous avons fait l’excursion de nuit en paddle sur la rivière pour voir les lucioles : fabuleux

Inez (9/5): Een fijn verblijf voor 2 nachten. - De algehele inrichting van de accommodatie en sereen terras met een fantastisch uitzicht op het rijstveld. Mooie setting aan de rivier en gezellig restaurantje met (zoals overal op de Filipijnen) vriendelijk personeel. Geen airco waardoor de kamer drukkend warm is (maar dat wisten we op voorhand). Douche in de buitenbadkamer is mooi, maar slechts een dunne straal zonder druk. Smaakvolle gerechten in het restaurant, maar de kip met botten is helaas oneetbaar.
Frank (4/5): We won‘t come back - It was very nicely decorated. The housekeeping was good. The staff very friendly and tried to help. Very noisy. The rooms look good but are very cheap build. You have no privacy. The reception staff needs for everything to call first the managment or the housekeeping. The price-performance ratio was very bad. The good in the restaurant is good but also overpriced for what it is.
van heerde (5/5): Onaardig personeel - De bedden lagen heerlijk, en het was erg rustig! Toen we aankwamen bij fox & the firefly cottages werd tijdens het inchecken ons door twee meiden verteld dat het ontbijt inclusief was. De volgende ochtend bij het ontbijt hebben we nogmaals gevraagd of het inclusief was en zo ja wat allemaal, ze vertelde dat het allemaal inclusief in onze boeking zit. Even later gingen wij weer uit checken en moesten we alsnog betalen voor het ontbijt… een beetje gek! Het is vervelend dat de communicatie dus niet zo goed is. De vuurvlieg tour is van 1730-1930 en je kan ook zelf een sup huren. Wij waren er om 1800 en wouden dit graag maar dat kon niet meer, ik vroeg ze waar de vuurvliegen waren zodat we zelf erheen konden lopen aangezien het verblijf aan een rivier ligt, maar ook dit was absoluut niet mogelijk. En ze wouden het ook niet vertellen:( Het voelde alsof wij een beetje belachelijk werden gemaakt door beide omstandigheden, niet erg klantvriendelijk/ meedenkend
Anouk (8/5): Goed - De locatie is top, gelijk aan de rivier en rustige omgeving. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam, je kan alles bij hen regelen, scooter en excursies enzo. Het restaurant heeft een uitgebreid menu en wij vonden het eten ook erg lekker. Geen airco, wisten we van te voren maar viel toch tegen. De kamer is heel klein, wij hadden amper ruimte voor onze bagage. De bedden zijn ook aan de kleine kant voor lange mensen. Wij misten ook een nachtkastje en lichtknopje bij het bed.

Laura (8/5): Con encanto - Es un hotel bonito, la cabaña esta muy bien, el baño al aire libre es curioso. El restaurante esta muy bien, la comida esta toda rica, aunque no es barato. Cerca no hay muchos restaurantes por lo que comimos mucho en el del hotel. Pensaba que tenia vistas al rio o que el hotel estaba conectado pero NO. Tienes que salir del recinto para ir a un pequeño embarcadero de bambu que hay. El hotel tiene seguridad 24 horas. Me esperaba mas instalaciones en el hotel y que estuviera pegado al rio, el jardin que se ve en las fotos es privado de las villas que hay en esa zona

Huitema (8/5): Fijn verblijf - Mooie groene locatie met eco vriendelijke slaapplaatsen, wij hadden per ongeluk de kleinste hut geboekt en dit was wel echt alleen een bed, het verblijf zat helemaal vol dus omboeken was niet mogelijk, ik zou zelf een iets groter huisje kiezen. Leuke activiteiten mogelijk op het water: het suppen met vuurvliegjes, een heerlijke massage nemen of een hapje eten in het restaurant: complimenten naar LJ, die het ontzettend gezellig maakte iedere dag voor ons. Locatie is in een groene omgeving maar naast het suppen bij de rivier zijn activiteiten ver weg met de scooter.
williamw (8/5): Leuk hotel voor kort verblijf - hotel biedt verschillende activiteiten aan zoals mountainbiken, padelboard en scooter verhuur. Eten was van een goede kwaliteit en aangenaam vertoeven. Buiten badkamer is een zeer leuke optie met de waterval douche. Kamers zijn klein, amper ruimte om bagage te openen. Hadden een kakkerlak in de kamer, dus bagage open op de grond laten staan is geen optie. Geen airco op de kamer, wel een ventilator.

Marco (8/5): Wunderschön angelegte Anlage mit Flair direkt am Loboc River. - Tolle Atmosphäre, direkt am Loboc River. Anlage mit Flair. Ein Highlight die Zimmer mit Aussenbad! Ausserdem ein schönes Restaurant, wo man sehr gut Frühstücken und Abendessen kann. Sehr nettes Personal. Es war sehr laut um unser Zimmer herum. Wir waren direkt neben dem Restaurant und am nächsten zur Strasse. Morgens um 06:00 Uhr war die Nacht bereits vorbei. Ich denke es ist der Lage des Zimmers geschuldet. Die Preise für diverse Tätigkeiten auf dem Fluss (Stand Up Paddling, Kayak) sind im Vergleich zu den Einheimischen nebenan etwas teuer.

Lovely chill out area on terrace, that felt private due to cleverly placed plants, we made lots of use of this area! And the restaurant food was heaven, so fresh and tasty- I could have eaten here for days on end. Comms before were a bit frustrating, we asked about yoga, and were told only if enough people (5) did it. We asked if we could pay for 5 people, effectively paying for a private class and they just stopped responding so never got an answer on this!

Benjamin (9/5): Calm little paradise not too far from Tarsiers, Chocolate Hills, and waterfalls - Het personeel was altijd zó ontzettend vriendelijk en heeft ons echt goed geholpen bij de aankomst en vertrek, ook toen wij het ze bij aankomst een beetje moeilijk maakten! Het was zo fijn om na elke volle dag sightseeing met de gehuurde scooter in de oase van rust tussen de mooie planten thuis te komen, een heerlijke warme douche in de buitenlucht te nemen, en vervolgens gemakkelijk aan te kunnen sluiten aan een tafeltje in het restaurant. Tip: probeer de huiscocktail 'Sexy Foxy'! We hebben prima geslapen, maar het was niet de beste nachtrust van onze hele vakantie. Misschien lag het aan het geluid van de vleermuizen buiten, of misschien door het gebrek aan airco (die we qua temperatuurbeleving niet echt misten door de grote, stille ventilator boven ons bed)? Wie zal het zeggen. De bedden zelf waren in ieder geval meer dan prima.

Produit anti moustique mis à disposition. On s'endort au son des geckos et on se réveille avec les oiseaux. Très bon restaurant avec un large choix de plats végétariens. Les tarifs des activités et des des transports plus chers qu'autour de l'hébergement (15 à 20%). Un paiement par carte possible qu'avec une application qui capture l'image de votre cb. Sachant que l'utilisation de la CB se fait rare d'une manière générale aux philippines et c'est bien dommage car cela freine grandement la consommation.

Vienīgais trūkums, ka nav kondicionieris.Odu dēļ durvis vaļā turēt nevarēja. Ir ventilotori, bet karstā laikā varētu būt grūti gulēt. Personāls izpalīdzīgs.Ļoti labs viesnīcas restorāns, kur gatavo patiešām garšīgi. Bijām uz vienu nakti. Lange Berlin (8/5): Jungel Cottage - Eine wunderschöne Außenanlage mit traumhaften Garten und schönem eigenen Restaurant (sehr gute Auswahl zum Frühstück und Dinner) direkt am River. Gute Lage für Bohol. Die hübschen Bungalows und das schöne Außenlicht. Sehr nettes Personal und gutes Tourenangebot. Romantische Atmosphäre und schönes Außenbad direkt am Zimmer. Hübsche Bilder im Bungalow. Schöne Terrasse! Leider sehr hellhörig aber ab 23:00 ruhig. Uns zu wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten oder auch keine Möglichkeiten etwas aufzuhängen. Nur ein Stuhl. Das Zimmer könnte einfach komfortabler eingerichtet sein. Das Licht im Zimmer ist auch nicht sehr schön 😐.
