Guest Reviews
- Maureen (10/5): Great - Super
- Helene (10/5): - Beautiful and clean property with excellent service.
- Holger (8/5): Nice hotel with very friendly staff - very friendly staff, big room, good breakfast, good location not far from the center nothing to complain
- Prof. (8/5): Very good -
- Robert (8/5): - My room was great. Loved the wood in my room. Breakfast was pretty good to ok. Coffee wasn’t good. Staff were wonderful and helpful. Pool and area were rough but ok. Location was ok.
- Anthony (8/5): - Nice Hotel to stay at and it’s conveniently located close to many markets and attractions.
- Ernest William (6/5): - .
- Sariya (9/5): Nice, friendly and affordable - It was clean and everyone was friendly. My only issue is I sent emails with the property and I didn’t always get a response from them. Some of the emails I sent were very important.
- Laura (10/5): Bon hôtel - L'hôtel est situé loin du centre mais très chambre agréable. Petit déjeuner excellent et personnel adorable.
- Paul (8/5): - Location not the best, staff were fabulous, is a 24/7 supermarket 50 mtrs up the road.
- Bexton (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing staff. Very helpful and lovely clean place.
- Charlene (9/5): A lovely stay in Phnom Penh - Beautifully appointed room with a FABULOUS deep bathtub. Staff was friendly and breakfast was superb with tons of variety. Location is too far from the main sites of interest.
- Sam (5/5): Fair - Room Breakfast
- Brady (6/5): - Bar at pool area was closed. And so no way to order drinks or food. Only able to attend breakfast buffet.
- Charlene (9/5): A lovely 3 day stay ❤️ - Fabulous soaker tub, friendly staff, satellite tv, and an excellent breakfast with plenty of choices. The rooftop pool was such a plus after sightseeing on very hot days. Only issue I had was with the location. Almost impossible to walk anywhere as there are NO sidewalks, and scooters and tuk tuks nearly hit pedestrians. Only a 30 minute walk to the best area near the river BUT you really need to take a tuk tuk for your own safety.
- Bryan (10/5): - Cleanliness 👍
Shower head and tub very poor design of location
- Official (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julia (9/5): Superb -
- Ivanna (8/5): Very good -
- Antony (7/5): Nice hotel but a bit dead - Staff very friendly. Big room. Maybe because of the time of year we stayed, the property was dead. Breakfast buffet not available. Pool bar and restaurant not open.
- Thanh (9/5): Superb - The pool is good. The room is clean and well decorated The location is on a small and crowded road, not convenient for walking around the city
- kr3mb0 (8/5): limited choice of breakfast - transfered to this hotel from Samnang Laor Phnom Penh Hotel since it was full.
They have very huge room, with huge separated bathroom. Location is not interesting, far from everything.
The breakfast is very dissapointing. Itwas relocated to pool area without any notification. The food choice is very limited, as 5-star hotel this feels not right.
The pool is small and quite dirty, with limited facilities.
- margareth453 (6/5): Conference time - Arriving in this elegant hotel was a relief from the coach ride. After receiving room numbers and swipes our luggage was scattered to the four winds. Those of us who didn’t have names to our luggage were lost in translation and after waiting 45 minutes took action myself. Concierge had communicated that all luggage would be left somewhere for those of us to claim. They were left on 13th floor. Anyway running up 5 flights as lift a bit slow due to 60 plus of us arriving finally retrieved our luggage. Hotel room much more spacious, modern and new. Communication by staff poor understanding of English and the eagerness to please over rides anything else. Catering for large groups not their forte even though they knew previously as bookings were made months in advance. Not enough staff on the floor to manage the numbers and expectations were high from previous hotel in Siem Reap. Room service first night took up to 2 hours to receive as one chef on. By rights I was taught anything over 20 minutes food is compensated/free. In the heart of CBD, AC in room only, rooftop bar n swimming pool, adequate wifi (was able to watch Netflix on iPad) other than that I wouldn’t choose to stay here again. Room for improvement on hospitality in catering for foreigners.
- DavidSeu (10/5): Excellent very underrated - We have stayed for one month and booked in for a second month. The staff are excellent, very attentive and very friendly and polite. The breakfast and lunch have all been excellent, after the 7am rush the food is completely restocked, eggs and noodle soup station is good. Coffee is always hot. We have booked in for another month
- phattang17 (10/5): Nice Hotel - It is a very convenient hotel where you definitely could relax and work at the same time. They have a nice and good swimming pool, sky bar. The room are very nice and got a good amount of space. They also have nice saunas and hot tub. The most interesting part is the gym, where you can run on the treadmill and have a nice view of the city.
- imagesvideosthmeyth (2/5): Very bad Salad Served with eel - I have a plate the Mixed Salad, after eating half Sundently, eel is coming of the lettuce. I don't understand how the cook prepare for it.
And the service didn't say anything just take the plat. I couldn't find the management
- 763izaa (10/5): Absolutely the best hotel in Olympic Stadium area in Phnom Penh - We have been staying at Era Hotel for 4 nights and that was the best choice ever. Staff is perfect, they can serve your every need, main manager is very helpful, kind and caring just like receptionists who helped us with taking tuk-tuks and organising trips around the city. Room was very spacious, fully equipped (tea, coffee, bottles of water, hair dryer, clothes dryer etc.), furniture was modern and stylish, beds were big and comfortable. Nice bathroom with toilet and bath separated from each other which was very useful. Housekeeping was scrupulous and our room was perfectly clean every day. Breakfast was the best part of our stay. There was truly everything you need like bacon, beans with tomatoes, fried vegetables with noodles, fresh bread, sausages, porridge, omellete, sweet waffles, cornflakes, salad bar etc. Many options for kids also. Pool on the 16th floor was cleaned every day, during the day there was no people so we had it just for us. There were sunbeds with matresses, umbrellas and coctail bar. Someone from staff was always keeping an eye on us. Gym was also very nice and airy, there are towels, drinking cold water and air conditioning. I can truely recommend this hotel for everyone <3
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean. Great location
- bertrand (2/5): Robbery in my suitcase in my room!!! - Last stay my sunglasses were stolen in my room. When I asked for compensation the management denied facts and didn’t offer any compensation. I am travelling the world and it never happened. This was my last stay at ERA, I will change for a better hotel with honest staff (or responsible). To ERA management, I will make a much noise as possible so that all my contacts ignore your hotel or at least are aware how bad you treat your customers. BAD PEOPLE
- S4542VSpetert (10/5): The staff were wonderful for me:) - I stayed here for 1 night.
The next day i was fighting on Cambodia TV. The receptionist asked me what i was doing after the hotel and was excited to hear.
When I left, the manager and every staff member was lined up in reception to shake my hand and wish me luck, and they promised to watch.
I really appreciated the support.
Even before knowing the staff had been fantastic, helping me in every way possible, and I had enjoyed the pool and the sauna / spa facilities.
I definitely recommend this hotel and think it is great value.
I will stay here again.
- Lilkevs (10/5): Huge Room with Great Breakfast Spread - This hotel is really underrated with how few reviews there are. The staff are very accommodating and we were welcomed with a cold pineapple drink, nice gesture. The room was huge and beds were very comfortable. Only problem is there is no door to the bathroom which is to the left of the entrance of the room. However the shower with bath tub and toilet have their respective sliding doors. Don’t worry about the huge window that can be seen from the beds because a shutter can be rolled down while you shower. The breakfast was excellent as well with a wide spread of food. Overall, great hotel and would definitely stay here on our next visit.
- Tianting (10/5): Good choice - I got the corner suite, room was huge, had a commercial kitchen. Prices are reasonable, $15 Khmer massage. Free breakfast had a good selection. Free parking. Higher floors had good views of the city.
- ngoctricnn (10/5): Just a word "PERFECTION"! - Much more beautiful than images. The location is super convenient, a few minute-walking to the Olympic market and Mekong bus station. We had experienced at Era Hotel in last month and everything is as perfect as it is during my stay. It's really worth it. Coming back soon, Phnom Penh!
Happy New Year from IPT-Saigon!!!

- L8217COmartink (10/5): English guy stuck in Phnom Penh - Following a motorcycle accident that created some lung damage and broken bones, i was unable to fly back to the UK for 2 weeks. The Insurance company put me up in the Hotel ERA for the duration. The room was excellent with English TV channels, WIFI 100%, good aircon and great bathroom facilities as good/better than a Western Hotel. The staff and management were all really lovely and genuinely interested and concerned about my condition and could not do enough to help out. the skybox and rooftop pool ae fantastic but surprisingly underused by many guests. Breakfast buffet selection was great with omelettes made to order if wanted. All in all a great hotel, very clean and part with good facilities and i would recommend to anyone. Martin
- E6186XTjeffh (10/5): Great value - Very large and impeccably clean rooms, good WiFi, very well located near the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. The staff was fantastic as we had a large group of Chinese tourists checking in as we arrived. We were greeted by a manger who got us checked in and to our room with no delay. Recommended!
- deepakb861 (2/5): Club social of Lions club of Secunderabad Vivekanandapuram - Checked in on 11 th January 2019. We are couple but given two separate beds. Air conditioner did not work in the room ,even in this winter season.First night we had very bad experience. .Shall again give my impression after I check out on 12 th January .
- HYOJIN (8/5): - 숙박시설의 위치는 그다지 좋지않았지만, 내부 시설은 깔끔하고 좋았습니다.
직원들은 매우 친절했으며, 서비스또한 만족스럽습니다.
- ddg858 (10/5): spacious and comfy accommodation for one week - I was here for a workshop for one week, and the room was spacious and comfortable, and my window view overlooks the busy Phnom Penh streets. Our workshop schedule was always full and I welcome the thought of coming back to my room. I had consistently enjoyed a good night's sleep all the time I was here, and I was also able to concentrate on the work that I had to do because the desk was spacious and the internet connection is fast.
The pool at the 16th floor was just the right size and depth, and it was open until 10.30pm so if you fancy a night swim you can soak and look up at the stars above.
- 40yrsworldtvl (10/5): 5 Star accomodation at affordable rate - Four nights at this hotel allowed me to try all of the facilities: very comfortable rooms, clean and relaxing roof top pool, excellent spa and massage, wonderful main floor dining room for dinner, and tasty breakfast served on 2nd floor. Only thing missing is a business center for computer access and printer. Location is superb. 10 minute walk to Tuol Sleng Museum and only $1-$2 by tuk-tuk to any location around the city. When departing for evening flights to the PP airport, be sure to allow a minimum of one hour for grid lock traffic. Safer to allow 90 minutes if you get stressed when traveling.
- dubaihotelier (8/5): Good 4 star Hotel with Central Location - Decently Located in the heart of the City Business District- 4 star Hotel with good ,helpful Staff. Housekeeping was great..rooms were good..Choice of Smoking Room was there. Beds were comfortable and the Gym and Spa are great.Recommend it both for leisure and business. Unfortunately , there was a huge Chinese Group checking in and I faced issues with having to wait for the lift all the time. Not the Hotel's fault !
Used the Conference facilities too..acceptable standards.
- Daniel (2/5): - Poor staff attitudes. Most staff are unhelpful and not able to communicate in English. This hotel caters mostly for Chinese national tour groups and local conference delegates. Bad breakfast choice. Food and drinks were not replenished. As paying guests, you have to "fight" for seats and food with hotel staff mainly their own management staff who dine about 9.30am. Dining tables were left dirty and used silverwear weren't replaced for new dining guests.
- jeffkgy (10/5): Friendly staff, Good Rooms - Spent a night here after a long journey from Siem Reap, and left the next day to continue to Ho Chi Minh City. During check-in, the staff were really friendly and changed to a smoking room for me after realising that I am a smoker. The room was really huge and clean. Toilets were also huge with a seperate shower and bathtub. Wi-fi was good and overall had a good stay with them. I would reccomend if you're looking for a reasonably priced hotel in Phnom Penh with good quality rooms.
- John (10/5): Very nice hotel - Very nice hotel Located near the Russian markets and S21Staff were first rate and helpful, the breakfast buffet had a very good selection, coffee was very good. Great rooftop swimming pool gym and sauna
- Linners2019 (8/5): Lovely hotel, friendly staff. - I stayed in this hotel with 2 of my friends in July. It is a lovely, clean hotel with very comfortable beds. There was a big choice at breakfast which was great. The rooftop pool area was quite nice, and we also got lovely massages in the spa. The girls working at reception in the hotel were so welcoming, particularly Anna who was so lovely, helpful & friendly. This hotel is not as central as other ones, it is a little bit outside the main area, and there are not many westerners/backpackers staying there, but it was a very good experience overall.
Linda from Ireland😀
- Iyengaar (10/5): comfortable 4 star hotel - A very good 4-star luxury hotel located in the city centre and very friendly staff. The hotel is about 10 km from the airport and very close to the national museum touristic centre.
The standard deluxe rooms are very spacious
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very nice clean hotel.
Breakfast could have been better.
- thaimike1959 (10/5): Best Hotel ever!! - What a great Hotel and fantastic staff! I want to give a special mention to Miss Srey Pom, she is great and takes great extra good care to make sure hotel guest are very happy! The entire front desk team is great as well. :)
- Ron (8/5): Songkhran visit - Easy to locate hotel, good breakfast, good friendly staff....
- Verified traveler (10/5): Worth it - Clean hotel. Nice service. Good breakfast. Would stay again! :)
- samsybunroeung (10/5): Great Service - We stayed at Phnom Penh Era hotel two different times during our trip to cambodia. The service was GREAT, they greeted us with cold orange juice, they spoke english, which is great cuz i can only speak broken khmer. The first time, we had room with double queens, nice clean and comfortable room. The second times around, we had a king bed, with full kitchen, pretty of room. The breakfast was included, with many varieties. I love their baboa (rice soup). I would recommend to anybody. Overall, I had a great experience with this hotel and would stay there again someday.
- M A (10/5): Amazing hotel in Phnom Penh - Amazing hotel. Very big room, nice views, all super clean and good breakfast
- Anisha (10/5): Extremely comfortable - I was only there for a night, but I had an amazing stay. By the time I reached the hotel, room service had ended for the night, but the staff was kind enough to order me food (pizza) from outside and have it delivered.
The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were nice and spacious. The pool was also extremely nice and the food was delicious.
If I had any comments to share - it would be the lack of vegetarian options in the breakfast buffet.
All in all, a very pleasant stay.
- Maxine (10/5): Hidden Gemd very attentive and pleadantt - I was shocked by this hotel. Everything was first rate. The room was huge which included a king size bed and A marble bathroom. The staff was attentive and helpful. A nice breakfast with an assortment of Western and Asian food. Even though it was a buffet there was always someone to get me what I like and bring it to the table.
The main restaurant served a good selection of Chinese food.
Most of the clients are Asian as are most hotels. Sometimes a lack of good English and tourist brochures. Since this is s brand new hotel that may change. By American standards the price was unreal fir a 4 star hotel. Highly recommended!!
