Room was clean, and bathroom well stocked with soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The room was a bit warm and stuffy, but we opened the window at night, which helped.

There was a LOT of rain while I was there and my hosts helped get me and my suitcase through the old town to where they had ordered a taxi for me to the bus station. Vom Balkon hat man einen schönen Blick auf den Hafen und das Meer. Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr lecker und das Personal sehr aufmerksam und freundlich ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr freundlich und gibt auch gerne Tipps für Unternehmungen in der Region. Alles was hier schreibe wäre Jammern auf höchstem Niveau.

Perfect location in Ayvalık’s old town — walking distance to everything. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful, and the breakfast was generous and delicious. Rooms are stylish, clean, and full of character. The restaurant/meyhane on the ground floor is a bonus, all day hot brewed tea is provided — highly recommend Nothing, just amazing!

The location is perfect, and the hotel has such a beautiful vintage charm in its decoration. I really wish I had more time to enjoy it fully. The staff were very nice and helpful. There’s also a restaurant at the entrance where they play live music, it was a bit lively at night, but I personally loved the atmosphere and the music, so it didn’t bother me at all. Overall, a short but wonderful experience. I’d love to come back and stay longer next time!

Wenn man sehr anfällig für Lärm ist, ist diese Unterkunft nicht das optimalste, da es fast jeden Abend Livemusik gibt und man diese in den Zimmern hört.

Kahvaltısını da çok beğendik, resepsiyon ve çalışanlar da çoğunlukla güleryüzlü ve ilgiliydi. Önümüzdeki yıl tatil için yine burayı tercih etmeyi planlıyoruz. Her şey gayet güzeldi, balkonlu odaları öneririm. Sorun olabilecek iki konu var asansör olmaması ve sıcak soğuk su dengesizliği, duşta aniden suyun sıcaklığı değişip kendine gelebiliyor. Gayet konforlu ve güzel bir tatil deneyimi sundu.

- Nils (9/5): A perfect place to stay in the old center of Ayvalik. - We visited the hotel in the middle of the week, in the middle of Ramazan and in the middle of March, and we seemed to be the only guests. The hotel has a perfect location in one of the old parts of Ayvalik, with plenty of shops and restaurants around. No traffic to mention and quiet. Close to the coastal main street and old harbour with good public communication and access to taxi. The old soap factory is beautifully restored to a modern standard and still keeping the genuine atmosphere very well. We had a double room on the top floor with a small roof terrace with beatiful views over the town, the hills and the sea. The room and the bathroom had a good size, it was clean and comfortable. Even in the sudden cold weather the heating worked well. The staff was friendly and we want to thank the director, Mr. Engin very much for his interesting stories about the place and renovation. Nothing not to like.

- ilhan (6/5): - Giriş sırasında oldukça uzun bekledik. Hoşgeldiniz bile denmedi. Oda resepsiyonun üst katindaydi. Bu kata ciktigimizda merdivenin karsisinda yerlerde diğer odalardan çıkan kirli çarşaf ve havlular yerlerde yığın halinde duruyordu. Bunların bir sepet veya kutu içine konulmadı daha hoş olurdu. Oda büyüklüğü yeterliydi. Ama dar pencereden sadece arkadaki bir ev enkazına bakıyordu. Oda yeterince temiz değildi. Buna ilişkin fotoğraf da çektim. İlk günü nazara alsam normalde bir yıldız vermem gerekirdi. Ama ikinci gün hem resepsiyonda çalışanlar, hem de kahvaltı salonunda çalışanlar iyiydi. Konuşmaları da kibardı. Kahvaltı çeşitleri gayet iyi ve yeterli. Otelin konumu iyi. Park yeri sınırlı. Hemen yanında park yeri var. Eylül 2024 itibariyle 350 TL. Yataklar rahat değil, isteğe bağlı olarak kuş tüyü yastık veriliyor. Bu yastıklar rahat.

- Makbule (10/5): - Otel tam merkezi bir bölgede tüm gezilecek yerler yürüyüş mesafesinde odalar konforlu personel ilgili altta meyhaneden gece 12 ye kadar müzik sesi geliyor. Biz rahatsız olmadık.Temizlik anlamında genel olarak temiz fakat sadece odadaki bardak ve tepsi üzerinde tozlar vardı.Otelin hemen yanında ücretli otopark var fakat genel anlamda merkezde otopark sorun yollar dar otoparklar dolu ve pahalı.

- CEM CAGRI (6/5): İdare eder. - Konaklama tesisi genel olarak temiz görünüyordu, ancak çarşafların değişmesi gerekir. Odalar gerçek anlamda ses yalıtımı çok düşük. Yan odada konuşulanın her kelimesini duyabilirsiniz. Ayrıca otopark var diyip, otopark için ayrıca para ödemek saçma.
- Cemil (10/5): Evimiz gibi - Geçen yıl yine aynı tarihte sevgili olarak gidip çok beğenmiştik, bu yıl otelin meyhane sokağında müthiş sesiyle Toygar beyin şarkısı eşliğinde ve o gün hiç tanımadığımız ama sonradan çoğuyla arkadaş olduğumuz misafirlerin şahitliğinde tahminimden çok çok güzel bir evlenme teklifiyle geceyi taçlandırdık.Enerji ve coşku başta Serhat bey olmak üzere otel çalışanlarının katkılarıyla üst düzeydeydi.otele mis gibi bir koku eşliğinde giriyorsunuz, her taraf tertemiz, havlular, çarşaflar.Kahvaltı bol çeşitli , el yapımı hamur işleri , akşam mezeler çok lezzetli.Orchis otel artık bizim özel bir parçamız oldu.Çok teşekkür ederiz😊
- Aysegul (10/5): Excellent place in old town of Ayvalik - The hotel is at the old town of Ayvalik. The buses to Cunda and Sarimsakli are just a minute away. Lots of cute coffee and ceramic shops are 5-10 mins walk. The hotel architecture is really cool, the rooms are very clean, all staff are so helpful, kind and positive. And their breakfast are just another level, so so good. Might not be the best option for someone with wheelchairs.

- Bd (10/5): Peace of mind - I had to find a calm, safe, clean and central place for 2 nights. This hotel was the first and only one in Ayvalik replying my emails immediately and responding my questions before booking. The hotel has met all my expectations. Everything was clean. From the first moment the staff was very kind. Not to forget that the Turkish breakfast was generous. We'll go back there again. Nothing-

- Paul (8/5): Charming old hotel with fabulous food. - We loved the charm of this very old building (a soap factory) and the antique fittings and furniture. Dinner was fabulous but we had a Turkish guide who could order for us. Definitely try the sizzling octopus. Staff could have been more welcoming. No top sheet? Bathroom is tiny but the marble and fittings make up for it. Not sure I would have liked staying here in summer.
