Amenities included pool, beach and rooftop cabana bar. Disappointed the cabana bar was closed, they didn’t really give a reason why. Hinted because of low occupancy. Beach sand looked dirty and water had a film of pollen. Switched rooms from King to double queen with balcony which was less money but they said i had to pay original price, which i thought was poor customer service.

The service was warm, helpful, and attentive, making us feel truly welcomed. The entire place was spotless, super clean and clearly very well maintained. The location couldn’t be better: peaceful, beautiful, and just a short walking distance from everything we needed. And the view was absolutely fantastic l!!! Overall, it was a fantastic experience in every way. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and breathtaking surroundings. We will definitely be coming back in summer time

Maintenance came to fix it but after going to dinner, it was still cold in the room. Had to call maintenance again to come fix it again. They came back again and said it was fixed again and the room should warm up soon.

I’m a guy, and I normally don’t notice these things, but the extremely wild colors of the carpet in.the main hallway and decor in the room is a bit much. Otherwise, the room is OK, nothing is extraordinary about it. I am not sure why it was rated an eight on Expedia. I would put it at a 6

With its own beach and pool, and in walking distance to the downtown area, it really can’t be beat! I enjoyed my stay so much that I asked to stay another night and while my current room was unavailable, they let me move straight away into a room downstairs. Both rooms were nice, but had noticeable dust and heavy cobwebs on the walls and lights above the sink; everything else was very clean! My only complaint is that the plumbing/water in the shower is so insanely loud- I could even hear the neighbors. These are minor in the grand scheme, if you are ever in the Adirondacks/visiting Lake George, I highly recommend staying here!!

She then said it was Expedia's problemThe hotel was empty except for (starting at 5am) a large group of loud spanish speaking men who stayed in the parking lot outside of my sliding door the entire day until a large white van picked them up at the end of the day. The ac never worked and I had to crack my door for air so in addition to safety issues never slept because of the loud men outside my door daily. The bath also does not have a vent so good luck traveling with a partner. Stay somewhere else, there is a million better choices all around the area and Sadie should consider a job not in customer service
- Allen (2/5): Appalling! They DO NOT have 2 bedroom suites! - Absolutely the worst hotel experience of my life! Be warned: they lied about the room type. I booked what was advertised as a two-bedroom suite, but on arrival it was just a cramped one-bedroom suite with an extra bed in the common space. When I calmly raised this with the front desk, they sneered “too bad for you” and shouted over me the entire time I tried to speak. They admitted they don’t even have real two-bedroom suites but refused to move us or make it right. When I pressed the issue, they ordered me and my party to leave the premises under threat of calling the police. That was all while I hadn’t checked out and still had a charge on my card. Imagine paying for a stay, being screamed at, kicked out for daring to object, and then still billed for it. And even if management hadn’t been hostile, the room itself was appalling: horrendous odor, rundown furniture, noise from every direction (not an exaggeration), and multiple “amenities” closed without warning. No breakfast, no rooftop, despite being the very reasons we booked. In short: false advertising, abusive staff, unlivable conditions, and fraudulent billing. Stay far, far away.

- Jenny (4/5): Management was rude and not accommodating - Close to town. Very limited number of kayaks and water equipment. Old school in person sign up. Buildings are spread out and on the older side.
- Ann M (4/5): - It would have been nice to have a bar and Restraunt as advertised. But they were all closed on holiday weekend. Booked there to have the facilities on site and had nothing. Waste of money very unhappy about with stay. Had to pay a 25 dollar a day resort fee which is fine but no drink or food available at the resort.
- Autumn (10/5): We will be coming back again! - The premium room was spacious and clean. There was a large and clean bathroom. Everything was new or updated. We were pleasantly surprised! There was nothing not to like !

- Elizabeth (9/5): Perfect location to walk to everything with the kids and relax in the lake - Great location, private beach, pool, on site restaurants Heated pool could have definitely been warmer, beach is eroding so you feel like you’re slipping down out of your lounger. Not a deal breaker though.
- Kevin (8/5): Excellent location, beautiful lakefront ,and lots to do! - Close proximity to town, the beach was great, the amenities (kayaks, pedal boats, SUP) were great! The kids loved having that option, and my mom kayaked and pedal boated for the first time in her life! This felt more like a resort than other places we have stayed in Lake George. The rooms including the bathroom were updated, and nice and clean. The beds were a little mushy, and not as comfortable as I would have liked. The shampoo, conditioner, soap were terrible - our hair had so much residue on it after we washed it. If I stayed here again, I would just bring my own.

- Araitz (9/5): Good family memories - It was our second time here and once again loved it. Big rooms, awesome lake views, great breakfast. Pool towels were small and that they do not provide beach towel
- bianca (10/5): - Surfside was absolutely amazing! The staff was so pleasant, and Olivia went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We had a small issue with our AC, but the maintenance team was quick to take care of it and, just like the rest of the staff, they were incredibly friendly. The GM was also very welcoming and helpful, which made us feel right at home. Our room (412) was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The pool area was clean and well maintained, and the gentleman who oversees the beach and pool was wonderful—very knowledgeable and even shared great fishing tips with us. Overall, Surfside has an incredible team that truly cares about families having a great experience. This was our second time staying here, and it was just as special as the first. We can’t wait to come back next year!
- Dana (6/5): - Second time staying at this property! Two small children, convenient to town, lake is safe & clean, decent pool and nice rooftop with delicious bar food. Breakfast on site. Rooms in the front are a bit outdated, stay more down towards the lake if you can. Will say I was highly disappointed with the front staff, highly unprofessional after a miscommunication with using lakeside after “check out” be aware, can not stay on property past 11am lol

- Fadden (7/5): - The pool was clean. There were ample amounts of lounge chairs on the beach, even though most were occupied by towels and toys. Our toilet in our rom kept rinning si we had to switch rooms at 11pm. The bathrooms were very tight.

- Miranda (6/5): Not the best place I've stayed - The front desk girl at checkout was a very friendly and helpful. But our bathroom door wouldn't shut. The staff at the Rooftop lounge was the rudest I've ever experienced, and was disappointed that there is a 10pm curfew for all outdoor areas. You can't even go sit by the lake quietly to relax after 10pm. Will probably try a different place next time we visit.
- Loriann (7/5): Beautiful views, clean room locations great - The convenience of the lake and walk ability Loved our room in our view, but the kids and the people walking up and down right beside us was a little much so room 301 we will not be booking again too many people walking up and down. We’re sitting outside. Kids are screaming by our room, I know I understand I didn’t know.
