- javier (8/5): - el hotel está bien ubicado y tiene los servicios suficientes para una estancia de trabajo. se escuchaba mucho ruido del pasillo y entraba mucha luz al cuarto, dificultando el sueño, además de que mi aire acondicionado no servía. en la página dicen que la alberca es climatizada y no es así.

En general la estancia estuvo muy bien, los empleados en general muy amables y lo que se solicitaba intentaban resolverlo. El restaurante estaba bueno y la comida adecuada en precios y calidad. Solo ciertos detalles de la limpieza de la habitación no fueron buenos, no se hicieron las camas a profundidad ni se dejaron toallas suficientes. También el hotel anuncia que pueden darte una cuna la cual no nos dieron.

No hacían una buena limpieza de las habitaciones, no ponen ni una botella de agua cuando llegas y las únicas dos que habían estaban bajo llave en el minibar. La actitud del room service no era la mejor, el desayuno no era muy bueno aunque el servicio del personal del Restaurante fue lo mejor, muy amables todos.

Por un lado el Gerente, Gerardo una persona muy gentil y agradable que con mucha profesionalidad resolvió un inconveniente sobre la habitación. Muchas gracias nuevamente. En el comedor tuve la peor y más desagradable experiencia de toda mi vida como turista. Me he alojado, no menos de 15 veces en la cadena de hoteles AC, previo a esta me alojé a comienzos de agosto en un AC en Ottawa. Muy buena experiencia. En este hotel AC Marriot Santa Fe, Ciudad de México, es la tercera vez que me alojaba con mi familia. El episodio totalmente inaceptable y más desagradable que he tenido como turista. Juan Carlos un mesero que no le interesa su trabajo, respetar y mucho menos atender con agrado. Nos alojamos por 8 días en el hotel, 5 de los cuales desayunamos en su restaurante. El chef muy amable, la persona del bar- caja muy amable y en general positivo. El día martes al igual que los 5 dias previos optamos por desayuno a la carta no el buffet. Pedimos unos huevos estrellados y unos huevos revueltos. Ambos venían acompañados con tortillas (totopos) y frijol, le indicamos al mesero que nos atendió que si era posible cambiar la tortilla y frijoles por pan tostado. Cuando vinieron con la cuenta a cobrar creo que el jefe de mesoneros este señor JUAN CARLOS, que ya habíamos visto varios días antes como con mala cara, trajo la cuenta que indicaba que incluía desayuno buffet, cuando le dije no tomamos buffet sino dos platos de huevos a la carta y del buffet únicamente el pan cuadrado con mantequilla ( habiendo preguntado antes al mesero que si era posible hacerlo cambiar por pan tostado con mantequilla y nos indicó que si). Este señor Juan Carlos me trajo la calculadora para indicarme que pagar los panes por separado me saldría más caro que pagar por un buffet. En qué hotel del mundo te dan un desayuno con huevo sin pan y mantequilla, además de haberlo preguntado previamente.

But, one of the main reasons we visit this hotel is the beautiful warm clean swimming pool, and the hotel now decides not to heat the pool. It's cold. Not tepid, or lukewarm, but cold. Uncomfortably cold. I could barely swim 2 lengths before I had to get out. I informed reception and they explained the hotel does not heat the pool any more! What an absolute shame. We'll be staying at alternative hotels in the future.

- O6086RSjohnc (10/5): Best place to stay in Santa Fe Mexico City! - This was my first time in Mexico City. I came for a tradeshow and stayed at the Santa Fe AC hotel Marriott. The location was perfect for business and close to many FITNESS facilities and restaurants. The front desk was very hospitable and accommodating with all my questions and even offer me late checkout on my last day I especially appreciate Jaqueline and the entire staff treated me and our group like family.

One room was leaking through the wi dow when it raiined, the ither room lock dis not worked, the third riom was warm because ACis programmed to stop working after certain hours and just cool air was coming out. The first room was excellent with AC. The service was outstanding and the fastest in responding too so I was very satisfied but please ipdate the lighting bulbs in the bedroom. Ine bulb is okd LEDs which generate a lot if heat too. Again wonderful staff and courteous . I will stay again there.

- Sachar (9/5): This hotel is in great location, very clean, hot rain showers, friendly staff and fairly priced. - Breakfast buffet had a lot of items. Hot buffet had Chicken, potatoes, vegetables, Cold breakfast yogurt, fruits, cereal, bread, egg knishes and more. You could special order item from the kitchen as well. Eggs any style. Shower was great and very hot. Great location. Pillows were little, large to sleep on. Specially if you like sleeping on 2 pillows. The room was a little dark need a desk lamp.

- 357cf (4/5): Deceptive and in Disrepair - - Room not ready at check-in => Gold member telling them I get there at 2.30pm and they still cannot get a room ready - Suite cleanliness average at best - Several doors in the suite not working (some that can only be opened using brute force, some that cannot be opened at all without breaking them - Several lights not working in the bathroom area - Shower and bathtub in the room => no way to use them without waking up your spouse in bed - Only one sink, and in the toilets, no sink area near shower or bathtub - Terrace is shared with all rooms on the floor & gym & pool with 0 privacy, when the suite was advertised with a terrace without saying that there was no privacy - Nothing whatsoever on the terrace, not a single chair or anything => disingenuous to advertise a suite with a terrace and not make it usable at all

- kcollett67 (6/5): Just OK - This is a nice business hotel. Friendly staff, and a good location in the outskirts of Mexico City. I don't think I was upgraded due to Gold Elite. Status. Room basic and small, but functional. Excellent pillows and hard bed. No water issues. WiFi was not very strong. The cel 5g reception was non-existent. To conserve water (which is a real issue in DF), hotel asks if one wants to hang towels and reuse. I did, but they washed anyway. Some items not replenished. Ate at restaurant one time. No one greets you, so I sat down. Service is slow, but everyone courteous. Food was OK. Breakfast buffet was ok. Could have been more fresh fruits and juices. The room service shines and was super easy and fast. There is a small of sewage in the hotel, st my room level , floor eight - near elevators. Their circular drive has some gates. They do not allow Uber drivers to pick you up at front of hotel - which is odd. Should I return to this area, I would choose a different hotel.
- Guillermina (1/5): Horrible stay this time - This time was a very bad experience My stay was for 5 days and 4 nights. air conditioning of the entire hotel broke on the next day I checked in. They couldn’t fix the problem for my entire hotel stay. They were very friendly and trying to accommodate our needs. But the bottom line was that we spent the most uncomfortable days and nights. Our room reached up to 27.5 Celsius. Humid. Unbearable. I had so many plans for that trip. I tried the best to keep it simple. But it was unbelievably uncomfortable.

Room wasn’t ready until after 3 pm and the hotel was very empty. The room is set-up without a separate bathroom. The toilet and shower open into the room, no privacy. The sink is in the open once you walk in the room. I could go on with more complaints about staff and facility but I will just say, do not stay here. I can’t believe Marriott has their name on this property!

We particularly enjoyed the ribeye steak and grilled salmon. The serrano ham was delicious too, and freshly cut in front of guests in the restaurant. The only minor downside is a missing coffee machine in the room, and we saw a few minor things that could use some fixing (towel hooks, door locks, a blind that couldn't be fully lowered). As a regular visitor to this hotel, I very much hope they give the place a bit of TLC to get it back to tip top condition. Definitely a great place to visit.

Unfortunately, my experience was marred by a series of recurring issues that have persisted despite previous attempts to address them. Firstly, I encountered a lack of water throughout my stay. This recurring issue has become increasingly frustrating (as I documented in an email in June of 2023), particularly on the higher floors where it seems to be more prevalent. After several days of complaining, I have been offered various explanations ranging from scheduled maintenance to neighborhood-wide issues, but these excuses do not align with my experiences at other Marriott and Hilton properties in Santa Fe. It is disheartening to witness this fundamental amenity consistently unavailable, especially when it affects multiple stays over several months. Moreover, the condition of the rooms provided to me only compounded my dissatisfaction. Upon arrival, I discovered that my original room lacked basic toiletries such as soap, and upon relocation, the replacement room was in an unacceptable state with overturned trash cans and a complete absence of essential amenities like towels and shampoo. Additionally, the absence of a TV remote and the pervasive odor of sewage in the hallway further detracted from the overall experience. Furthermore, my dining experiences at the hotel's restaurant were consistently disappointing. Despite the promise of a hot buffet, the food was invariably served cold due to malfunctioning warming devices. The staff's demeanor was consistently rude and unprofessional, leading to prolonged delays in service and frequent errors in my orders. It is disconcerting that basic requests such as syrup for hotcakes require extensive pleading, and the ongoing confusion regarding my inclusive breakfast only adds to the frustration. In light of these persistent issues, I demand compensation and urge you to take immediate action to address the underlying issues affecting the quality of service at AC Marriott Santa Fe. As a loyal Marriott guest, I have come to expect a certain standard of excellence that, unfortunately, has not been met during my recent stays. I trust that you will prioritize resolving these concerns to ensure a more positive experience for guests in the future.

First let us talk about the worst. FOOD 1) Does not have 24/7 room service. (how is a marriott property without this) 2) The spartan Breakfast spread is like that of a motel (continental minus) 3) Only one restaurant for breakfast / lunch / dinner. Dinner menu is mostly fast food 4) Untrained staff with no clue (ex. Order drinks and they carry it in hand (Not in a tray & no coaster!!) on restaurant service training. Weird ROOM design / set up 1) - you enter to see the washbasin right inside the room next to the door 2) Split bathroom - The commode is on one side of the room and the shower (tiny) area is on the other side?!!!! Why? 3) Absolutely Nothing in the room - not even a glass to pour water. Empty refrigerator, empty business table....... 4) Shower has luke warm water even at the max settings. I gave an extra star (should have rated it 1) only for its brilliant location, right on Santa Fe main road and next to many malls, shopping areas, business buildings etc. WILL NEVER STAY AGAIN!
