We had come for a wedding at Cavalli Estates but Trish started the celebrations early with a photo shoot in the beautiful gardens with a background of the magnificant blue swimming pool. The security, the comfortable rooms and wonderful 👌 atmosphere. We could not get all three rooms booked in the same wing.

I couldn't switch the aircon off though the button didn't want to work in the morning, but I was in a rush so didn't try to see if the batteries might be flat. I think the breakfast can improve - the scrambled eggs weren't that appetizing (a piece of egg shell was inside - and the eggs weren't mixed completely through) and the sausages was cold. We did have a early breakfast at 6am so don't know if that affected the experience. some of the bathroom floor mats had ink stains on them but everything was clean.

muhammad (10/5): manufique - Absolutely wonderful stay. It was home away from home. From check-in to check-out it was flawless, pleasant staff and definitely served us beyond our expectation. Rooms were perfect ,comparable to nat five star deluxe room. It was spacious, air conditioned especially in the January blistering heat. Attention to detail, mosquito repellants in each room was a special touch .Towels were five star quality and the super luxurious bed was a dream. Hotel kitchen was open to use for tea and coffee 24/7 and the "Honesty Bar" was a good addition. Breakfast was perfect, just the required assortments of cereals ,fresh fruit ,fresh fruit juices and eggs with condiments. Pool was prestine and clean ,well kept and definitely inviting, with just the perfect size to compliment the hotel. Overall stay was absolutely comfortable and I will definitely return.

The staff was very friendly and the guesthouse is ve - It is a very nice Guesthouse with a caring and very friendly staff. The rooms are good sized and very clean. The breakfast was basic but really good. It is in a very quiet area. There is not much around it so you definitely need a car or use Uber to go somewhere.

A personal bonus for me, was the fact that there was two beautiful cats visiting the venue and it honestly made my anniversary more special... Will definitely recommend. :) There's nothing I disliked...

Elise (9/5): Fantastische sfeervolle en rustige locatie! - Trish Cook, de eigenaresse was super aardig maar ook het overig personeel. Het zwembad was schoon en groot genoeg om net even een baantje te trekken. Ligstoelen om het zwembad waren heerlijk met matrassen erop, badhanddoeken lagen ook klaar. Parasols aanwezig. Tuin om zwembad met palmbomen en bloeiende struiken, alles zag er idyllisch en verzorgd uit. Onze kamer was in het hoofdgebouw, één van de grootste kamers en deze was fantastisch met een Kingsize bed en een super grote badkamer met losstaand bad en 2 wastafels. Veel kasten om je kleren in op te hangen, een redelijk grote koelkast, 2 stoelen en veel ruimte! Ook in het hoofdgebouw een sfeervolle zitkamer met tv en loungehoek met banken. Wat heel fijn was, was dat in het andere gebouw een keuken is waar je eventueel zelf wat kan koken. Ook een eettafel en een loungehoek was daar aanwezig. Ook is er een wasmachine die je zelf kan gebruiken, heel fijn! In dit gebouw ook sfeervolle en ruime kamers! Op het gezellige terras was ons ontbijt, heel sfeervol. Enig minpuntje was het brood, dat was nogal standaard, dat zou beter kunnen. Wel heerlijke fruitsalade iedere ochtend, een mix van diverse klein gesneden fruitsoorten.

ANTON (7/5): - Frühstück ist reichhaltig und gut. Betten waren auch sehr gut. Das Personal hilft gerne bei Fragen. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Zimmer Nr. 2 hat starke Nebengeräusche, wenn jemand im Nachbarzimmer duscht. Unangenehm wenn das um 5Uhr morgens geschieht.

Helga (7/5): Sehr schöner Garten und Poolbereich - Gartenbereich und Pool sind sehr schön. Die Damen, die das Frühstück zubereitet haben, haben immer versucht, alle Wünsche der Gäste bestmöglich zu erfüllen. Das Haus ist in die Jahre gekommen und könnte ein paar Renovierungen vertragen. Einige Zimmer/Suiten haben zB keine richtige Tür zum Badezimmer, sondern nur einen Vorhang bzw. eine Art Schranktür. Schade, dass kein Waschservice für einzelne Kleidungsstücke angeboten wurde. Den Gästen steht zwar eine Waschmaschine und Bügeleisen zur Verfügung, aber man müsste die Wäsche im Garten auf eine Wäscheleine hängen. Insgesamt etwas umständlich, wenn es nur um 2-3 Shirts geht. Dies kennen wir von anderen Aufenthalten in Guesthouses in der Kapregion anders.

Ich hatte für meine Gruppe 8 Zimmer reserviert, wir mussten schon vor 7h zum Flughafen. Das Hausmädchen hat uns schon ab 6h Frühstück bereitgestellt und sogar Eier gekocht, unglaublich. WIr waren alle begeistert.

Laura (9/5): I really loved my stay, total value for my money. - The facility is private and cosy, it creates a homely environment perfect for relaxation. The staff is very friendly. It runs an honest bar policy which I found very interesting (depicts faith in morality of humanity). Breakfast was sumptuous with sufficient variety. They were very flexible with check in and check out timings as long as it was well communicated. There is no restaurant for lunch and dinner hence one has to step out or order food to be delivered. The pool had a lot of leaves in it occasioned by surrounding trees, perhaps more frequent clean up of the pool would be good.

Strydom (9/5): I slept like a log - loved the electric blankets and queen size bed, the neighbour's cat greeting me and saying goodbye made it feel like home, all overnight stay needs are catered for I was upgraded to a superior room and would have preferred being given a choice for the room I booked - as this was what I was looking forward to?

Madeleine (6/5): Fantastic setting and excellent service, but the noisy staff after the manager left brought the rating down. - Great location “The guesthouse has a lovely setting and the hospitality was good. Unfortunately, after the manager left at around 14:30, the staff were noisy and often shouted at each other. This disrupted the peaceful atmosphere and lowered my rating from an 8 to a 6. Addressing this would make the stay much more enjoyable.
