Jonathan (4/5): While the location and transport connectivity were convenient, the overall stay was ultimately let down by poor room com - On the positive side, the hotel is in a good location with convenient access to the Silver Line from South Station and easy connectivity to the airport. There are also plenty of food and beverage options nearby, which made the area lively and convenient. Overall, the stay at Yotel was disappointing and did not meet expectations for the price point. The room itself was extremely small, and the low ceiling height made the space feel even more cramped and uncomfortable. The fold-out chair and pull-out “table” setup squeezed between the bed and wall was impractical and very difficult to use in reality. The room lighting also felt tacky and poorly designed. The controls were inconveniently placed far from the bed, making the setup frustrating rather than functional. Another recurring annoyance was the key card access system, which required pressing the card firmly against the sensor multiple times before it would register properly. The biggest issue, however, was the mechanical bed design. While marketed as a space-saving feature, the futon-like mattress setup was extremely uncomfortable. The bed noticeably sank toward the middle, creating poor support and making it difficult to get proper rest over multiple nights. The hotel may appeal to travelers prioritizing novelty and compact design, but from a comfort and usability standpoint, the experience fell well below expectations.

The room had a modern feel and it was perfect for 1 night. The room was small, and there wasn’t too much privacy between the sleeping section and the bathroom.

Its location is a big plus—just steps from the waterfront, with easy access to the Harborwalk and many of Boston’s historic landmarks. It made exploring the city so convenient and enjoyable. Another highlight was the rooftop, which offers a great view and a relaxing spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Overall, a great place to stay for both comfort and location. The room was quite small, and it’s worth noting that there are no double queen options available—only a single queen bed with a bunk bed above. This setup may not be ideal, especially for seniors or those who prefer more accessible sleeping arrangements. Additionally, the rooms do not include some common amenities like a coffee maker or a mini refrigerator, which may be inconvenient for longer stays.

Sofia (9/5): Smart hotel in a cool area - Great location, very recent building therefore everything looks pretty new. Staff was always very nice, and we found the room service excellent! They also have a nice rooftop terrace. The room was super small, but the worst thing was that there was no bathroom: sink, toilet and shower are just in the room next to the bed, which is a bit uncomfortable. Would have been so easy to just have a small wall dividing the areas.

Great front desk staff, Right off the Silver Line - easy to get to from the airport, although not as a convient as hotels that have a shuttle. $45 Resort fee!! What Resort is this? What do you get for the $45 resort fee? Room Price was too high, I assume due to graduations or something else going on.

Giulia (7/5): Buono - La struttura si trova accanto alla fermata della silver line courthouse, quindi molto comoda da raggiungere specialmente se si viaggia con bagagli. Noi abbiamo fatto anche un tragitto a piedi da South Station alla struttura e si impiega circa 10/15 min. L’hotel è vicino al centro città (anche a piedi). La struttura risulta di recente concezione con qualche parte di domotica (come tapparelle elettriche, luci e letto con rialzo automatico) The hotel is located next to the silver line courthouse stop, so very convenient to reach especially if you are traveling with luggage. We also walked from South Station to the building and it takes about 10/15 minutes. The hotel is close to the city center (even by walking). The hotel is of recent conception with some part of home automation (such as electric shutters, lights and bed with automatic elevation) Siamo stati una notte sola e la camera che ci hanno assegnato prevedeva un letto queen size, tuttavia mio marito eccedeva la lunghezza dello stesso (a casa abbiamo un queen size e ci entra perfettamente) inoltre non è stato per nulla confortevole (si poteva percepire la struttura sottostante). La stanza non era dotata di mini frigo, quindi per giorni più caldi in Boston è da tenere a mente, benché sul corridoio sia disponibile erogatore di acqua. L’insonorizzazione non è proprio il massimo, durante l’unica notte che siamo stati vi era nelle vicinanze qualche party ed era possibile sentire le persone che gridavano in strada con conseguente difficoltà ad addormentarsi, da tenere a mente se si viaggia con bambini o si soffre di insonnia. Preciso che l’area è molto sicura è proprio l’insonorizzazione della stanza che dovrebbe essere migliorata a nostro avviso. We stayed only one night and the room they assigned us included a queen size bed, however my husband exceeded the length of the same (at home we have a queen size and he fits perfectly) also it was not comfortable at all (you could perceive the structure below). The room was not equipped with a mini fridge, so for warmer days in Boston it is to keep in mind, although a water dispenser is available in the hallway. The soundproofing is not really the best, during the only night we were, there were some parties nearby and it was possible to hear people shouting in the street resulting in difficulty falling asleep, to keep in mind if you are traveling with children or suffering from insomnia. I’d like to specify that the area is very safe, it is precisely the soundproofing of the room that should be improved in our opinion.
Daniela (9/5): Ein sehr praktisches Hotel für 2-3 Tage Stadturlaub - Die Lage gegenüber der Skyline. So konnte man sie von der Dachterrasse des Hotels aus schön sehen. Die Nähe zum Flughafen Shuttle ist sehr praktisch. Dass man die Fenster kippen kann, war mit ein Grund für meine Wahl. Auch wenn die Klimaanlage ausgeschaltet war (es gab ja frische Luft genug übers Fenster), schaltete sich die Anlage in der Nacht immer wieder ein, und das ziemlich laut.

Orla (9/5): Great location, staff and would stay again! - Stayed here recently with my 5-year-old and we had a really lovely stay overall. The room was great, block out blinds, great shower and the beds were very comfortable. My child absolutely loved the bunk bed feature, it was definitely a highlight for them! A couple of small things worth mentioning: the air conditioning unit in the room was a bit louder than expected at night, and I felt the top bunk could do with a slightly higher safety rail, especially with the thicker mattress. I ended up placing pillows along the side just for extra peace of mind with a young child sleeping up there. That said, the staff on arrival were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the luggage storage service after checkout was excellent as it gave us extra time to explore the Seaport area without dragging bags around. We'd happily stay again. A couple of small things worth mentioning: the air conditioning unit in the room was a bit louder than expected at night, and I felt the top bunk could do with a slightly higher safety rail, especially with the thicker mattress. I ended up placing pillows along the side just for extra peace of mind with a young child sleeping up there.

It’s a small room but they give you a chair and a tray table so you can still eat a meal in there. No complaints really, the key card was slow to turn green on elevator and in room.

Regendusche hat sowohl in meinem Zimmer als auch in weiteren Zimmern nicht funktioniert. Beim Duschen setzt man das halbe Zimmer unter Wasser, weil die Duschkabine unten nicht dicht ist. Die über booking angeforderte Rechnung habe ich leider auch üver 1 Woche nach dem checkout noch nicht erhalten.

Apesar de ser um pouco pequeno o quarto realmente tinha tudo o que eu precisava para ter uma boa estadia. O tamanho dos quartos e talvez um pouco mais flexibilidade em relação ao check-in adiantado. Quando cheguei existiam quartos e o pessoal da portaria me queria fazer pagar. Tirando esse detalhe a estadia foi muito boa.

My 10yr old daughter thought she lost her Boston Aquarium keychain and staff was nice and accommodating ( front desk young lady 10!).Location is excellent. Free bus transportation from the airport (SL1) 1 min walk to hotel. Just go left when you exit the bus station. Great stay .

The purple light in the room is an amazing touch, it gives you total visibility without straining your eyes, especially at night. An excellent place to stay in Boston—the room, the location near the heart of the city, and the staff’s hospitality—all made my stay there much more enjoyable. The only thing I'd add is a small refrigerator—that's the only thing the room is missing.
Bogdan Malavrazic (10/5): A perfect 10/10 stay at YOTEL Boston. - My stay at YOTEL Boston was honestly one of those experiences that elevate an entire trip. From the moment you walk in, it’s clear that this is a highly modern and innovative hotel. The design is sleek, smart, and incredibly well thought out. The room itself is ultra-modern, perfectly organized, and very comfortable to stay in. One detail I absolutely loved was the presence of two windows, one next to the bed and another in the bathroom, both of which can be opened. That’s such a rare feature and it really adds a sense of freshness and freedom to the space. The bed is extremely comfortable – easily one of the best parts of the stay and perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring the city. The staff deserve special recognition, incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. Their attitude made the whole experience even better. The location is fantastic. The hotel is very well connected to the rest of Boston – the metro station is right nearby, and multiple bus lines stop close to the hotel, making it super easy to get around. On top of that, the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum is just a short walk away and is definitely a must-visit attraction. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience. If I come back to Boston (which I really hope I will), I won’t even think twice about where to stay, YOTEL will be my first and only choice.

linette_hass (4/5): Not your typical hotel experience. - Rooms are small. Lighting is poor in ‘living space “. No table or desk. No chair(s). No drawers and minimal space to hang clothing. No hotel directory showing where anything is. No complimentary coffee. $5 plus service fees seems ridiculous. No fridge or microwave. Would have been nice to have for leftovers.

Coopman (10/5): Yotel's location in Seaport and the walkability to downtown Boston and South Station was ideal. - I liked the hotel's vicinity to and from downtown Boston with easy walkability. The room had everything I needed for a great stay and was significantly cheaper than other hotels with the same amenities during Boston Marathon Weekend. There is nothing that I comes to mind that I did not like about Yotel.

AllisonH811 (10/5): Great Place - We have stayed before several times as close to waterfront. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. The hand written note under our door thanking us for staying was a class act. Will definitely be staying again. Hopefully nothing changes when Hilton takes over.
Büryan (7/5): - Location is great. Customer service was good. We had couple of problems and they were solved immediately. No soundproof. Lot of noise from the street. A/C were very loud, too. The curtain to seperate bathroom and the room was missing in our first room. They changed our room, but the design of the new room was different (no glass door bathroom)

ARTURO (9/5): Struttura moderna vicino al centro praticamente fronte mare. - Hotel con camere piccole ma attrezzature moderne e ben posizionato. La camera viene rifatta ogni giorno, salvo richiesta di soprassedere ricompensata con un buono da 5$ da usare al ristorante. Mi è mancata la macchinetta del caffè presente in tutti gli hotel USA, o quanto meno un distributore/thermos a livello di piano.

Not a problem not having coffee in the room but I didn't realize until day 3 that I could get complementary coffee just off the lobby in the early morning. I was in room 1012 and quite late at night I could hear noise from above (maybe the restaurant on the 12th floor??)
Olivia (5/5): - The location was perfect--close to public transit and plenty of restaurants/cafés. The "Premium Queen" room was tiny; I can't imagine how uncomfortable the other rooms are! The bed was also shorter than a standard bed which makes sleeping difficult if you're even slightly on the tall side (I'm 5'7"). I can't comment on the staff because check-in was done entirely via an iPad. Overall, the room provides the barest of the bare minimum, which is not reflected in the price.
John (8/5): YOTEL Boston provided a convenient and comfortable place to stay for my short visit. - Location good as a base for the Boston Marathon. Staff were very helpful. Touch key was unreliable, took several attempts to unlock room door and elevator. Room lighting was rather dim. Washbasin slow to empty.
