• Aron (9/5): Excellent service, great value but watch out for sargassum - The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and help us on our trip. Literally could not have been nicer. We arrived during the worst sargassum season in history and the property is in a particularly bad spot. Would have been nice to have been warned to expect this before arriving.

• Krista (10/5): Great stay at CBC! - It’s small, sits on the beach and the location is fantastic. The fact that you can walk to everything is great. The staff is amazing! Each day there’s a new drink special, my favorite was the coconut sunset. The only negative that I have is the sargassum. I know that it can’t be helped but it does dampen the beauty due to the smell and the inability to use the beach.

Large patio terrace with chairs and hammock. Super speedy laundry service. The car park is away from the building which is a bit tricky with the suitcases.
• Justine (9/5): Great value, super hospitality from knowledgeable staff, close to everything on town, nice to have bike options - So close to the beach, attentive and friendly staff, nice breezes coming down onto patio even a few cabanas down, easy access to bikes, free shuttle to local airport, decent price point, free continental breakfast, and reasonably priced à la carte options. Pam runs a tight and efficient ship. We were out snorkeling or by the beach, but having the pool there to cool down or meet fellow travelers was nice too. They wven welcomed us at the front office with complimentary mixed drinks. To be honest, not much! My husband felt like the bathroom space was a little tight )especially the sink counter). It would be also nice to have space for a bigger lounge chair, or padded bench at base of the bed.

• 137jamillahf (10/5): Immersive and Relaxing - I can’t say enough about my stay. The team was very responsive. They made all the arrangements for the transfer flight from Belize City to Placencia. The shuttle was waiting for us and we had a welcome rum drink upon arrival at our cabana. The staff is so sweet and full of recommendations for excursions and restaurants. They connect with all of the services on the island and arranged our golf cart rental to and island hopping adventures. The town is a blend of tourists and locals and so you get to have an immersive experience that you often don’t get at an all inclusive resort. But you don’t have to sacrifice all inclusive resort service. I will be back.
• William (8/5): We enjoyed our visit to Caribbean Beach Cabanas - Located on the sidewalk with an easy stroll to town. Nice spot on the beach. The employees were hard workers and pleasant to deal with. The pool and bar area were small but large enough. No kids running and jumping and yelling. The property is narrow with three cabanas up front and then additional rooms in the back. Our room was next to the pool and bar which could be a bit noisy late in the evening. The Placencia breeze had difficulty making it to the back areas.

It’s absolutely stunning, private, relaxed, and incredibly comfortable. We even got married here, and we truly couldn’t have picked a better place for such a special moment. The staff are simply UnBelizeable, they go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy every minute of your stay. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making our experience memorable. We loved every second of our time here and are already looking forward to coming back. Honestly, I’d give this place more than 5 stars if I could. The only downside? It might not be available when you want to book… once people discover it, they don’t want to stay anywhere else. Thank you all for an unforgettable vacation and for making our wedding so special. We’re incredibly grateful. 🌴☀️
• Kathrynplumb (10/5): - This place was the perfect getaway for my friends and me to celebrate my birthday. The staff were all so kind and helpful. The food from the kitchen met our dietary restrictions (we have a few) and it was delicious while also a very good value. I loved staying in the hacienda with lots of room to spread out and the property assisted my sister in procuring a surprise for me upon check-in. It’s also in an ideal location - removed from the louder bars and inns, but walking distance to restaurants, shops, etc. I don’t usually return places, but I would definitely come back here!
• Getaway732971 (10/5): Perfectly perfect! - we had the perfect experience at CBC, most beautiful area and perfect vacation..it did not disappoint! Everything was amazing. starting with Emer (sp?) picking us up at the airport to Lavette checking us in who along with Michelle and Pam who couldn't do enough for us, taking care of our needs and wants along with great suggestions and advice... Above and beyond! All the staff were wonderful and helpful as well as always pleasant..some names I may have slipped my mind. Miguel (sp?) and Henry was just awesome. We can't say enough about Senda, from bringing us breakfast, not to mention her pastry skills to afternoon lunch and drinks poolside. senda is such a kind and caring person, she's a wonderful asset to CBC. We can't wait for our next vacation at CBC and enjoy the fantastic hospitality once again.. definitely staying longer next time!

Pam, Senda, Michelle, and Eimer (sp?) are starting to feel like family! They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. My husband and I enjoy how incredibly relaxing the beach is, and Placencia overall. The drinks and food at the hotel are delicious too! We can't wait to come back again! <3
• Excursion35548154391 (10/5): A perfect Placencia boutique hotel - Everything about this resort is perfect. From the pristine, gorgeous beach to the charming beachfront cabanas, to the thoughtful and friendly staff… This place has everything. It is a small, boutique hotel with an ideal location. It feels private and tranquil, yet is only a 10 minute stroll to the charming restaurants, giftshops and cafes along the famous Sidewalk. Pam, Michelle and Lovette made our vacation extra special. They booked some fabulous tours for us (Silk Caye, Monkey River, Coxcomb, and Taste Belize), arranged shuttle pick up to and from the airport, booked our Tropic Air flights, and went out of their way to help us out when we realized we were missing a toiletry item. They also went to the trouble of printing out our airplane tickets for us, and even finding delicious tamales for lunch one day! All of the staff were so friendly and kind. The bartender – I’m so sorry, I forgot his name – was so kind as to pick a coconut for us for a treat one day. Emir, the groundskeeper and shuttle driver, was so lovely to talk to. The kitchen team delivered breakfast and lunch with a smile, and everything was delicious. Some of the things we liked about it were its rustic elegance, where every item was thoughtfully chosen. The interior of the cabanas, (we were in Soll) was delightful and tastefully appointed. We love the fact that the patio of our unit had two lounge chairs, a hammock, and a lovely bistro table for snacks and happy hour. The stretch of beach that it’s on is quite beautiful. The sand is clean and a lovely colour. My husband and I loved swimming and kayaking there every day. Though it’s not on the reef, we enjoyed snorkelling often, delighting in the occasional fish we would see, a few conches and a gentle, small stingray. If you’re coming to Placencia for a beach holiday, look no further than CBC! This hotel is a rare gem and one that we hope to return to regularly!
• suparbh (10/5): Perfect place for a beach vacation - As I get ready to pack for our trip back home after a week in the Hacienda cabana, I figured we have loved our stay so much I might as well write a review while I’m here and everything is fresh in my mind. This is our first trip to Belize and it rained every single day of our trip. You would think that would make us miserable but thankfully our stay was at CBC and we are so grateful to have picked them. From the moment we were received at the airport with the courtesy shuttle and Pam and Levette (sp.) greeted us at the reception, we felt welcome and comfortable. The service is remarkably swift, WhatsApp messages/requests are immediately attended to. The hacienda cabana was spacious enough for the three of us even though we were cabana bound on a couple of days. EVERYTHING is steps away no joke - restaurants, tours, grocery stores all are a short walk away. It poured all day today and finally stopped. So we just stepped out for a stroll on the “Sidewalk” and I kid you not, the area around the CBC was the only dry spot … everything else was ankle deep in water due to the unseasonable rain!! Their beach is lovely and private. They have kayaks, bicycles, umbrellas, sunscreen, bug spray ….they are so so thoughtful. My favorite spot was the hammock in our private tower. (I mentioned on the first day that there wasn’t a hammock there and there was one in less than 10 minutes!!) The breakfast every morning was punctual and scrumptious. All in all a fabulous place to park yourself for a vacation on the beach. Highly recommend.

• Catrina (10/5): - Friendly staff who were available for all questions. Bicycles available to ride around town and felt safe to use. Property located right on the sidewalk with easy walking access to the pier and town. We were off season in November so it was very quiet and peaceful. AC and fridge in the room. Nice that there was filtered water throughout the resort.
• eddieras (10/5): Placencia Perfection! - What can I say, other than perfect! We stayed at Caribbean Beach Resort in October. The location is perfect - on the beach AND The Sidewalk. The grounds are lovely and the people wonderful. They have a pool and a poolside bar. We stayed in the Luna cabana, which is closest to the beach and it had everything you need. Coffee maker (with coffee, sugar and creamers), some glassware and dishes, silverware, microwave and hot plate! They include continental breakfast (or you can order other paid items, like pancakes), which they bring to your cabana to enjoy as you take in the fresh air! As nice as everything was - and it was VERY nice, our stay was enhanced by the friendliness of the staff, especially Michelle at the front desk and Henry! Highly recommend!!!

• 16mercury (10/5): Highly recommend this charming hotel - Delightful hotel. We would love to have stayed longer. Before we arrived we were sent lots of helpful information which wasmuch appreciated. We were collected at the airport and warmly welcomed. Our roomwas spacious and nicely appointed. The hotel is at the edge of the pretty village with great restaurants bars and shops. The beach is great…lovely to swim. The tap water is fine to drinkand tastes good. The hotel gave a party with complimentary mohitos and appetisers which wasvery popular with all the guests. It’s an extremely friendly place with very charming staff.

Our casita was standalone, very clean and everything promised! The view was amazing, front desk/office staff extremely helpful and beach/toys were right there to enjoy! The room was fully stocked, AC flawless and had strong WIFi with plenty of bandwidth. The overnight storms lulled us to sleep while keeping us dry. The neighboring dogs were super cute but very respectful to leaving us alone. Just go!! Experience the cabanas, beach and nearby food! You won’t regret it!!!!

• A (10/5): It was paradise from beginning to end! - The property was beautiful. We had the two bedroom, 2 bath upstairs unit called the hacienda. It was so spacious, large bedrooms with equally large bathrooms. The kitchen was large and well equipped. The living room was a good size, and the couch was large and comfortable. We received the continental breakfast each morning, which was free of cost. The food was well made, delicious and presented well. Our rooms were clean and our spacious patio had a hammock, 2 deck lounges and a high-top bar with 4 barstools. Once again, everything and everywhere was clean! Our patio overlooked to pool and bar below. The staff was SUPER nice and VERY helpful! Everyone made our stay super enjoyable and we were sad to leave. We will definitely be returning next year and booking the hacienda again!! NOTHING!

We didn’t even have to have a golf cart to get around. We loved the ambiance of the entire place. It was very quiet and relaxing. The pool snd swim up bar were an added bonus to the beach area.

From the moment we landed in Placencia, the staff at CBC took care of anything and everything we could think of. Every single member of the staff was so warm and knowledgable and just a delight to chat with! The property itself is beautiful and so thoughtfully designed. We were right on the beach and spent a lot of our trip just sitting out in our veranda admiring the view and sipping delicious cocktails from the bar. CBC is towards the beginning of the Placencia village sidewalk so after a few days of walking it up and down, we got to see so many of the shops and eateries (there was not enough time to see them all), but we felt it was a great central location. We were never farther than a 10 minute walk from anything we wanted to do or see. Highly recommend CBC and we most definitely be back on our next trip to Placencia!

The atmosphere is calm and inviting and the grounds are beautiful. The resort is small enough that we developed an easy camaraderie with other guests and with staff. It is close to all the village has to offer - just a stroll away. Our cabana is a sweet little home away from home with a breathtaking view of the sea. We have stayed at CBC eight times with our ninth and tenth on the books. Guess that says a lot, huh? Caribbean Beach Cabanas is just a little slice of Caribbean wonderfulness. 🌴💕

Sargassum and not knowing in advance how bad it was.
• Brett (10/5): Excellent property. Friendly, accommodating, and good value - Staff was excellent, friendly, and accommodating. Food and beverage was excellent and great way to start and end the day. We stayed at the beginning and end of a sailing trip and wish both says had been longer. The property being able to book our flights (we pay at ticket counter) to and from Placencia, providing all of the specific details on flying with the small airlines, and picking up/dropping us off at the landing strip and marina made things very smooth sailing and stress free. Will stay again when in Placencia Nothing.
• missoulass (10/5): Very Enjoyable Stay - This is a delightful small establishment. It is quiet and charming. Good location right on the beach. Amazingly informative website. Great staff. Super friendly and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again! Only one negative. The hot water was not dependable. We had a few cool showers, but luckily it was really hot while we were there. Not a comment regarding Caribbean Cabanas, but of the beach in Placencia. The amount of garbage is disheartening. It reaffirms that plastic really sucks. They are also experiencing beach erosion and sphagnum moss issues. The locals told us the erosion and sphagnum moss are new environmental issues.
• Dwnptrl (10/5): A Hidden Gem - This small private resort is a hidden gem in the Carribean where one can relax and take in the blue water and white sand beach. Miss Pam, Mr. Henry and of course Emir will treat you with kind service. A small pool side bar serves up some fine drinks along with a great breakfast/lunch menu. If you want to schedule a trip to Monkey River or a snorkeling excursion out to one of the many Cayes, Pam can do it.

• Mitzy_Applegate (10/5): Wonderful stay - I stayed 5 nights in Luna, the cabana closest to the water. It's the most quiet and private cabana, with the most exposure to nature. What's to love: - Adults-only property - Good communication before my stay - Excellent location along "the sidewalk." Restaurants, grocery stores, the airport, massage outlets, etc. are very close. On the water - Always-present, helpful, friendly staff - Easy to hop on one of their bikes or jump in a kayak. It's all very informal, low-key - Safe in room. Filtered tap water. Mini fridge and coffee maker. Complimentary insect repellent and sunscreen at the office. Shampoo / conditioner / lotion provided - Very quiet - Spacious private deck with loungers, high top, and stools (and there are electrical outlets) - There are screens on most of the bedroom windows, which allowed in fresh air. There are tasteful bars on the windows, so no security risk - Breakfast delivered to your deck - Reasonably-priced laundry service - Overhead fan, AC (which I didn't need) Room for improvement: - More savory options at breakfast would be appreciated. The breads and butter were heavily spiced - Light from windows at night
• Denise (10/5): Should we decide to return to Placencia, we will definitely stay here again. - Loved the centralized location. Pam, from the office, was very accommodating to our requests. Cornelio and Senda from the bar were both very kind, friendly, and engaging. Our room had snacks available and there was a carafe of drinking water in the refrigerator. The beach lounges on the beach were comfortable and situated under Palm trees that provided plenty of shade. The biggest selling point is that this is an adults only hotel. I wish the bathroom had counter space; however, the kitchenette had a spacious countertop that we were able to use during our stay.
• BEonVacation (10/5): Laid Back Like Your Local Neighborhood Bar Became a Resort - Laid back vibe on the edge of Placencia Village. We stayed in Sol which (along with Luna) is one of the beachfront Cabanas. Our slightly dated, but fully comfortable, room had a small kitchen and opened onto a beachfront patio with loungers and a hammock. Steps from there you were on the quiet beach, with more loungers and no seaweed. Our room included breakfast which was a simple but sufficient fruit, toast and pastry. Location is towards the end of the boardwalk, a 10 minute walk to the other end of town. Staff was friendly and helpful. They booked a snorkeling excursion for us (we picked a day with bad weather, so definitely check the forecast), and when weather interrupted our flight home help us secure an additional night at the resort and rebooked our 30 minute tropic air flight to Belize city. We used the available bikes to go to Hobbs Brew Barge (just ok, but a decent excursion). This is not luxurious, but is comfortable, quite, laid-back and makes for a wonderful vacation. It's like your local bar became a resort.

• Melr (10/5): Truly a gem in Placencia - This place was absolutely fantastic in every way! As you enter the cabanas you immediately enter a mini paradise with thatched roofs, a clean pool, adorable pool bar, kayaks, bikes, paddle boards, and individual cabanas. The beach is wonderfully clean and quiet with loungers and hammocks. They rake daily and do treat the sand so no pesky sand fleas on our visit. But what was even better was all the little things! They provided umbrellas, bug spray, sunscreen and lotion all stationed in their outdoor lobby. They provided beach towels replenished daily. Just when you think that is all fantastic, it gets better. The staff!! I cannot say enough about the staff! The manager, Pam, took our 10/10 to a 20/10. She was absolutely lovely. She helped with everything from setting up excursions to making dinner reservations. She always had a beautiful smile and a wonderful sense of humor. She was always sure to make our experience even better than it already was. By time we left, she was like family! And her staff always had a smile! From Senda to Emir to Michelle-absolutely precious. This staff went out of their way to make your stay magical. They provided everything from drinks to breakfast to clean rooms. We even enjoyed a great Mojito mixer with yummy drinks and appetizers with our fellow guests. Our room, Villa Playa, was comfortable and included a king size bed, plenty of pillows, a dresser, chair, tv, nightstands, a microwave, coffee maker, coffee, and a fridge. The bathroom vanity was somewhat small, but it does have a cabinet and shelf below to store your items. They provided bathrobes and daily towels. The shower was roomy and best of all, nice, hot water! My only suggestion here would be to provide bathrobes and daily slippers as the floors are tile and can get sandy. The cabanas are pretty much at the end of the sidewalk and in my opinion, a perfect location. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about this place. I’d absolutely stay here again and again.

The front staff were so friendly, even after working late multiple days. They even made us Johnny cakes because we mentioned we wanted to try them. The bar tenders were kind & personable. The kitchen & house keeping were always smiling & nothing was too much for them. The beach is clean, the rooms are exactly what you see in the photos (clean, quaint). It will be hard to ever stay in a hotel or condo after staying here. We felt so safe & had a sidewalk away from the street that lead us to all the restaurants (all within walking distance). If you get a chance, book a boat charter with Clearwater charters. Matthew & Priscilla create an amazing day fishing, snorkeling & catching lobster for a personal beach picnic. It was more than we could’ve ever asked for.

The property is immaculate, well-located near the heart of Placencia, yet peaceful. I stayed in La Casita, which was clean, well-equipped, and cozy adding to the charm of this tropical paradise. Highly recommend!
• X4182YRannam (10/5): WHO COULD ASK FOR ANYTHING MORE. - Recently went to CBC with all my children and their partners (11 of us). We took all the 7 rooms and had the whole place to ourselves. Pam, the concierge and all the incredible staff were friendly, professional, fun to be with and so helpful. We all had a wonderful time. The cabanas were wonderfully appointed and comfortable. The beach was clean and other than those occasionally walking the beach, very private. Restaurants, pharmacy, bank, groceries all within a short walk. Lots of excursions available if you ever tire of lying on the beach or sleeping in a hammock or drinking tropical cocktails. Went snorkeling on a catamaran with Andre and Fab and they too were great to hang out with and find out about the Belizean life. People on the streets were welcoming and always had a smile. If you are not a large party resort person but want a wonderfully relaxing holiday experience, this is the place for you.

• MA_Fox2001 (2/5): Hotel canceled my reservation 6-day prior to vacation - I envy all people that wrote wonderful reviews and have great memories from their stay at CBC. Six days before my scheduled arrival to CBC, the hotel canceled my reservation due to weather-delayed renovations, but offered our 7-day stay at two different cabanas and I was willing to accept it. However, the way I was treated on the phone by Pam, was shocking and absolutely unacceptable, I had to hang up the phone as she continue to ramble and calling me disrespectful, while it was her who was showing this lack of respect. Afterwards I received a nasty email accusing me of "abusive behavior". I lost all the appetite for this hotel and needed to share my experience because that is not the way to treat your clients, even you have all 5-star reviews...

• 640jordani (10/5): Incredible Stay! - My wife and I stayed at the Caribbean Beach Cabanas for our honeymoon, and it surpassed all our expectations. 11 out of 10 rating. The front office workers, the bartenders and the grounds crew were amazing. Upon arrival, they give you a free drink a tour of the grounds. They provide you with bikes, kayaks, snorkel gear, cornhole, and beach chairs free of charge. They'll bring breakfast right to your door. It's located within walking distance of countless bars, restaurants, and shops. At one point after chatting with one of the grounds crew guys, he asked us if we'd like some coconut water, and cut two open for us right on the spot. Bartenders are there just about all day ready to take care of you. The stools in the pool were a perfect place to enjoy a drink or two. The only con is the parking situation. We had a rental car, and the only parking to our knowledge was directly behind the office, but under a pokeweed/sea grape(?) tree. No idea, but some type of tree that drops a purple berry every 10 seconds that splatters everywhere. When I took the rental back, they charged me a $100 cleaning fee due to the amount of berries that landed on it, and apparently they stain really bad. Just a heads up if you're bringing a rental car. However, I would absolutely recommend to anyone and would love to come back. Thanks for the great time!
• Helene (9/5): Superb - We loved our stay, where we stayed for 10 days, so longer than the average. - First of all, the location was perfect because it was central but not right in the middle of all the bars and restaurants you could go access all restaurants and bars by walk. Plus, you're right in front of the beach, you step out of your room and your feet are in the water. - The hotel staff was great: Senda at the bar is an absolute sweetheart, and the whole kitchen and housekeeping team are so kind and always ready to help. The security team is also super nice - The food and cocktails are delicious. - The hotel's setting is very pleasant. 3 feedbacks: The hotel staff cleans the beach and the gardrner is super nice. But the plastic that comes from the oceans is a real problem in Belize. Sometimes my husband and I were surprised to see bits of plastic and paper in the sand at the hotel, on the path leading to the bar. Even the guests don’t bother to pick it up. The environment is everyone's responsibility, especially us tourists. If I can provide some feedback, it would be to thoroughly clean up all the small plastic pieces within the hotel and perhaps put up a sign for guests to encourage everyone to be mindful of waste and properly dispose of it in the bins. Second feedback: the room equipment : we also chose this hotel because we saw it had a kitchenette with utensils, which would allow us to cook some evenings during our 10-day stay. However, we were missing at least a cutting board (to chop vegetables) and a good knife. We asked Senda several times, and she kindly lent them to us without any issue! But in general, the kitchen setup is a bit limited for cooking." We booked a sea view room but the room does not has a sea view at all. You should change the description on Booking because it can be frustrating.

• Georgia0423 (10/5): Trip of a Lifetime! - Our week at the Caribbean Beach Cabanas in Placencia Belize was magic. Our trip was in August and since our departure I have been trying to come up with the right words to convey how amazing this little slice of heaven is. It is a small, boutique property that offers world class customer service. From our arrival at the property, the customer service never wavered the entire week! From excellent drinks made with local fruit, the optional but absolutely delicious breakfast, the expert itinerary guidance this property did not miss! Pam and Michelle are the managers at the property, and I fell in love with them both immediately. One of my favorite parts of the trip was stopping by the office to talk to them every day. In addition, Elmer, Imer, Senda, Hector and all the other wonderful staff members took care of us like family the entire time. Our room was impeccably clean and offered an unbelievable view of the ocean. In summary, our visit was truly the trip of a lifetime and I will carry my visit to the Caribbean Beach Cabanas in my heart forever.

Local restaurants with the very affordable meals seemed to close at 2:00 PM, meaning that for dinner you had to eat at the tourist focused, higher priced restaurants in the area.
• Tina (10/5): Exceptional - Staff was wonderful and very helpful! They were outgoing and warm. It's a small-ish propery with 7 or 8 cabanas and it feel really welcoming and friendly. It's a compact property however the location (right on the main sidewalk yet away from the noise) was perfect. The beach area was clean and inviting. The pool/bar area was relaxing as well. The breakfast (included) was substantial and it was nice to have other breakfast choices available for room service in the mornings as well. The robes were a nice touch. And the bikes were wonderful for exploring. The only thing is that I was in the first casita where everyone walked by to get to their cabana. For privacy though, it was easy to pull down the shades.

Pam was incredibly helpful especially after I unfortunately became ill. I miss her already after being home only 2 days. The property is beautiful with lush landscape. EVERY staff member is incredibly kind and helpful. All work so hard and will go out of their way to ensure your needs are met. Loved the shower outside of our cabana! Every cabana has one! All cabana patio’s are incredible. The bar is exceptional and love their fresh squeezed juices. The chef is fantastic! Homemade breads daily and delicious specials. Breakfast is a must! All menu items are delicious! The Belizean chicken stew special was phenomenal. The food was so good, we chose to eat here daily (ten days total). Unfortunately, trash sometimes washes up onto the beach. It’s not a massive amount, but it saddens me to see how people around the world are unaware of pollution in our oceans. They work very hard to keep their beachfront clean and honestly their beach front is well kept. Initially, I was bothered that there was not a place to hang my nice clothing. I adjusted quickly and made a make-shift closet (hung my clothes over my suitcase) lol! Honestly, it really didn’t seem like it mattered after I realized I over-packed. Highly recommend not over-packing. This is such a friendly beach town! You could wear the same thing daily and no one cares :-).

• papageorgeb59 (10/5): The perfect home away from home - I don't even know where to begin. This was our 2nd trip to the Cabanas, and I know there are many more in our future. From the moment you book your stay, Pam and Michelle are there to aid you in whatever you need. They will book your puddle jumper flight (and in our case, change it), book your excursions, and take care of any questions you may have. They are a wealth of knowledge about the area, the restaurants, and places that the average tourist may not even consider. Henry picked us up at the airport, and he was a delight on our short trip to the Cabanas, and made sure our buckets of Belikin were always icy cold. A cold rum punch awaited us upon our arrival, along with smiles and a great welcoming feeling from the staff that was there. We stayed in the Luna, and as before, it was clean and beautiful, and stocked with everything we would need for our week. We had breakfast delivered one morning...try the burritos! Senda is a wonderful cook, and about the sweetest lady on the planet. She put up with our nuttiness, and was quick to return our jokes and jabs. She also makes a mean lunch and a meaner mango margarita! On Tuesday, Justino and Imer cooked up the fish that we caught to PERFECTION and brought us beans and tortillas. We all had a fabulous meal with them, and a few of our Cabana friends that we met while on the trip. Wednesday, the staff at the Cabanas treated us all to a wine night, along with some tasty bites to eat, and the best sangria I have ever had. It was a truly fun evening with the other vacationers staying at the Cabanas, and the staff. There is not enough praise that can be given to the CBB. They treat you like family, they truly do. It is sad when we have to leave. We never fail to make new friends while we are there. We look forward to coming back, and we wonder if they will possibly remember us upon our return, as we fondly remember them between trips. I was talking to Pamela as I checked out, and I told her that there are hundreds of places on the beach to stay for a week, but the reason we come back to the Cabanas is because of the staff that works there. CBB management and owners are blessed to have such an amazing staff...truly fortunate. We miss all of you already and were planning our next trip there while flying home. Thank you all SO much for the perfect vacation spot. We love you guys and can't wait to see you again. George and Kathy

Our room was a standalone cottage with a cute front porch area and an amazing rooftop deck with a spectacular view to the beach. No restaurant on site, but a spacious bar where food can be delivered (or to your room). Breakfast was delicious (omelets), good bar drinks and when I was dehydrated one of the staff picked me a fresh coconut for me to drink. Staff goes above and beyond. When I accidentally left my diamond necklace in the room at checkout, they tracked me down at another resort to let me know it was safely in the office for me. Wish we had stayed longer than 1 night and will definitely return!!! Nothing, honestly!!

• Spain1965 (6/5): Nice Cabana, not so nice water for swimming. - We stayed in La Luna and it was a great little cabana right on the beach. This place has an amazing staff that will cater to your needs. Pros: beautiful views, hammocks, friendly locals, great air conditioning, plenty of chairs on the beach, great deck with lots of seating, you can drink the water right from the tap, breakfast, lunch and drinks brought right to the cabana, amazing service from the staff. Cons: The water is murky at best, and full of seaweed at times when the wind blows. We had a few days of calm weather and still the water was not clear. So if you are going for swimming off the beach in crystal waters, this is not the place. From the puddle jumper north of Placencia, we saw lines raw sewage in a couple different bays. For that alone I will not go back. Trash washing up on the beach. This is everywhere along this coast, and it was raked most days. The village leaves a lot to be desired as it is developing. The cute little swimming pool turned green while we were there. They shocked it with chlorine (closed down for a day) but it was never clear again for our stay. Dirty covers on our lounge chairs on the deck. Overall, we enjoyed this place for a few days, but I think we stayed too long as we love to ocean swim and that was not the most pleasant here. It was nice that they cooked breakfast and lunch but the food was pretty average.
• steverding (10/5): Beautiful place - This place was wonderful. After 4 nights in the jungle it was wonderful to have extra amenities and air conditioning. Pam and Michelle were so helpful getting tours (and flights) booked and giving us recommendations. We did a day of snorkeling, massages on the beach, and a sunset catamaran. The place was beautiful with a pool and the ocean right there. There are plenty of chairs and a bar at the pool. They also had bikes and kayaks to take out. We really enjoyed our stay.

• Bklyn1961 (10/5): Caribbean Beach Cabanas - Beautiful beach setting, comfy beds, amazingly helpful and kind staff, particularly Michelle, Sende, Pam, Justino and Domingo. Bikes and kayaks for the taking, hammocks and rooftop views everywhere. Outdoor (and indoor) showers. Perfectly situated in town, walkable to everything, right on the colorful Placencia car-free sidewalk. Very relaxing vibe!!

• Elaine (10/5): Lovely cabana and we would strongly recommend. - The location was absolutely stunning with a walk of only a few metres to a beautiful tropical beach. Lovely sunbeds with shady areas if needed. Quiet and secluded. Resort itself was quiet, very attractive and tidy. Pool area and adjacent bar was lovely. Our breakast, preordered the evening before, was delivered to our cabana promptly and was delicious. Our cabana was very clean and comfortable. Nothing except that we could only stay one night!
• Jackie (10/5): The perfect location with the best staff! - Everything about this place exceeded my expectations. The staff were so sweet and helpful and truly made the experience special for us. When even had a flat tire one day and they handled everything for us while we were gone for the day. The facility is gorgeous, the food and drinks are tasty, the location is perfect, and the value is excellent. I can't recommend it enough!! Literally nothing!
• Lauren (10/5): Gorgeous and comforting. - The best food we had in Placencia - the homemade tortillas were absolutely delicious. We actually opted to eat more meals here than originally planned because the food was so good. The property exceeded our expectations. Totally private. Quiet with a beautiful pool and private beach. But not remote so you are still a part of the local scene. We would only stay here if we come back to the area. N/A

• Statia (10/5): Perfect place for our honeymoon - This was our first "luxury" stay we've ever had, and we loved it. The room was very clean and set up nicely for us upon arrival. When we first got there, we were offered a drink and they got us checked in quickly then showed us to our room. They gave a brief overview of the room and everything available. During our stay, it was our nice little retreat when we got overwhelmed/tired from exploring, which we did a lot. The bartender was awesome and nice to chat with. The rest of the staff was fantastic as well. Not once did we feel like we weren't welcome there. Hopefully we can be back some day.

• Matthew (10/5): BLOWN AWAY by the World Class Service - The staff were exceptional, beyond anything I have ever seen. The day we arrived, our rental car died in the parking spot of another establishment next door. The incredibly kind lady from the front office took care of all the calls to Avis (3 hours away) and simply brought my keys back to me on the beach and communicated that it was all fixed and a new battery had been installed. I was BLOWN AWAY by the kindness, professionalism and could not have been more happy. Further, the same kind lady booked us a fabulous snorkeling excursion for a much better price than we could find on our own. I would recommend this resort based on it's prime location, exceptional amenities and world class customer service. Thank you CBC for a time we will never forget!!!!

• Alison (7/5): Great resort. Awful beach. - Breakfast was good. Location was almost beach front. Cabana was adorable and had many amenitites. Could not believe how filthy the beach was. I understand its difficult to keep up with the debris but you often see groundskeepers raking up the beach at other resorts in the morning.
