- Dario (9/5): - If you are looking for a safe, clean and friendly place to stay while in Johannesburg, this is an excellent choice. The guest house is conveniently located, easily reachable within 15 minutes to the airport via the highway. It is located in a secure suburb called Elmapark, which has guards on duty 24 hrs to control access to Elmapark. The entire area of Elmapark is very well kept. There are several shopping centers within 10 minutes easy reach by car. The highway interchange going towards Sandton is also close by. The breakfast was hearty and sufficient and if you have any special food requests, the hosts do their utmost to satisfy one's needs. I liked the fact that the hosts lived on the property, so that in case of need, they always had an open ear. All in all an enjoyable and peaceful 4 nights at Villa Stella. I would happily return anytime! Everything fulfilled my expectations and requirements.

- Martin (5/5): Good place to stay if all rooms are filled with friends or family. Solo not so much. - Very "homey" feel. Rustic and cozy definitely. Warming stuff in the room so the room keeps warm. The coffee was also nice. Friendly staff and cleaning was very good on the day and the day after. The TV was small and distorted, could barely hear anything. Also the Netflix wasn't signed in. The bed felt like there was a divot in it, it was uncomfortable. I understand the idea of wanting to save water, but the water pressure was unbelievably low. Communal kitchen was a bit awkward as there was no microwave in my room, but if you are travelling as a family / friends to fill up the rooms, it could be nice.

- Irvine (9/5): Lovely Property - The property was very nice, very pretty and I felt very safe. Easy to come and go at any time. The owners were very accommodating of my late check in and stored my bags for me on the last day. The pool was very nice! The bed was comfortable and the room was pretty. The TV was easy to use and had Netflix which was great. The location felt very safe as well, and was close to where I needed to go. The wifi was a little spotty at times, and I didn't have any hot water when I tried to shower in the morning.

Checking out in the early hours was a bit tricky due to the fact that it was out of normal business hours. I felt a bit uncomfortable leaving the key in a rolled-up garden house.

The hosts were wonderful in every way. We spent a total of 6 days there and would always stay at Villa Stella if we return to Johannesburg. Close to the airport. There was nothing we didn't like.

The rooms were very modern (unlike the photos on the website) and very clean. The location and accommodation was very quiet and very safe. I would have loved to have had a toaster in our room to save walking to the kitchen, and for our room to be closer to our other family members' rooms and the kitchen. Stairs to the kitchen wasn't ideal for me because of arthritis in my hip.

- Menno (8/5): Very good - I have stayed at Villa Stella on numerous occasions and have always found their service and helpfulness consistent. The breakfast is very good. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Airconditioners would be great, but the fans work well.

- Khayalethu (1/5): The stay was not for what I paid for. - Secured Paid for dinner but never served, especially for the two days. It was not my responsibility to ask for a dinner and time to take it. If there was no dinner the host was suppose to have other alternatives because the client paid for it. Instead I drove and buy the dinner on my own expenses until I left whereas I paid for.

- Michelle (8/5): It is a really great guest house and I would recommend it - Owners are very friendly. Rooms are clean and lovely. I didnāt use the Wi-Fi. There is a kitchen that guests can use but I didnāt use that either. I didnāt have the breakfast but it smelt good. Safe location and convenient Water pressure in the shower is horrible. I did have a do not disturb sign on my door the first day but they came in and cleaned anyway. I did leave a note to ask them not to move or touch my stuff. I did pack it away so that they could clean around it but they still kept moving it which I really donāt like.
