The staff is amazing, the location is spectacular (right at the Spanish Steps, that's right, you can see them from your window right in front of you). Excellent rooftop bar. Very well appointed.

Owned and operated by the swanky Hassler Hotel Roma, this property allows you to enjoy the amenities of the Hassler at less than half the price per night. The rooms are well appointed and spacious by Rome standards. Staff was absolutely welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended.

We had evening cocktails on the Hasler rooftop bar a truly excellent experience, but we lenjoyed evening cocktails on the roof the the Palazzett on a different night.

This Boutique sister hotel to the amazing Hassler has beautiful private rooms, a lovely terrace Bar facing the steps and a wonderful staff. • Catherine (10/5): - Il Palazzetto is a small hotel (I think only 4x rooms) linked to the larger Hotel Hassler - the large 5 star hotel located at the top of the Spanish steps. Il Palazzetto is in a prime location with views from some of the rooms directly onto the Spanish steps. There are endless dining options nearby, and the roof top bar was a great way to end each of our days with the most delicious cocktails. Check in / out was via the Hotel Hassler. I wasn't sure about how this would work, but it was seamless. The team were incredibly helpful and also arranged for bag transfers. Note: whilst staying you also have off-peak access to the Hotel Hassler gym (great view from their terrace). The service at Hotel Hassler / Il Palazzetto was the best we've ever experienced. The front of house team at Hotel Hassler were fantastic. Also, Beata who welcomed us to Il Palazzetto was amazing during our stay and also suggested a wonderful nearby bakery (Il Fornaio Della Sardegna) that made the most delicious food available for dine in or take away. It became a favourite spot during our stay. We loved the Il Palazzetto roof top bar, only a few steps from our room (Room 4) and with amazing service from the team and delicious drinks. Would highly recommend Il Palazzetto!

The staff was very welcoming they all seemed to know who we were upon arrival. Our windows had the most perfect view of the Spanish steps.

• Margaret (8/5): Small, but convenient and beautifully appointed. - We really enjoyed this boutique hotel that is owned by the nearby Hassler. The rooms were very well appointed and historical, and overlook the Spanish Steps, so a great location. TV didn't work so well although concierge said they were going to change those out. Caution - there is a nice wine bar on roof right above rooms, so quite a bit of noise in the evening, although all quieted down by about 10 pm, so no problem sleeping. No services in hotel (only has 4 rooms), but you have access to all services at nearby Hassler. Bed had beautiful linens, very deluxe. Price was really good considering level of quality. I took pictures of sheer draperies because I want to same thing in my condo!

• Andrew (10/5): 5 days at Il Palazzetto - Incredible location mid Spanish Steps. Stayed in Room 1 with stunning view over the steps. The building is a private villa with lift access to rooms from a busy narrow street that is main route to Spagna metro , so busy and noisy. Check in is at Hotel Hassler. There’s a roof terrace bar with lift access or narrow stairs open until 9pm with fantastic views but can get very busy as it’s open to public although residents have priority. All staff are incredibly helpful. Room 1 was very spacious , queen bed, and huge bathroom. All facilities at Hotel Hassler are available. (A short walk via the Terrace bar and across the road.)
• kendell (10/5): - Il Palazzetto is the most charming little spot in Rome's city centre. Our room was very clean/fresh and spacious. Being right on the Spanish Steps was a dream- lovely doesn't even begin to describe it. You can open your windows and catch a cool breeze and a little music from the steps. The service from the Hassler group was beyond spectacular. We will definitely stay here again.
• Catherina (10/5): Perfecto! - Such a perfect location, right on the Spanish steps. The room was spacious, sparkling clean and serviced twice a day. You have to walk through an outdoor wine bar to get to the rooms- sounds strange but it wasn’t a problem for us. There are some stairs to climb that might not work for everyone. It’s a very lively spot in the evening and we loved the vibe. The Hassler service and breakfast was over the top. We’d definitely stay her again.

• Mark (10/5): A small hotel overlooking the Spanish steps - This is a 4 room hotel that is an adjunct of the Hassler with all the services and breakfast at the Hassler. The level of quality was superb. There is a wonderful rooftop space for cocktails in the evening overlooking the Spanish steps. We come to Rome frequently and will stay here the next time.

• John Arne (10/5): Perle i Roma - Fantastisk service fra resepsjonen på Il Palazzetto. Fint rom(nummer 3) men kun utsikt mot bakgate og utgangen fra metroen. Fantastisk sengetøy. Flott frokost og service på Hassler men da må man først gå opp på toppen av Palazzetto, ut noen porter og så over veien. Anbefales å ankomme med metroen til Spagna. Inngangen ligger rett til venstre når man kommer ut av inngangen/utgangen til metroen. Ankommer man oppe blir det mer kronglete. Mer sentral beliggenhet blir det ikke.
• Carol (10/5): Beautiful annex to Hotel Hassler - Il Palazzetto is a small boutique hotel, an annex to the beautiful Hotel Hassler. In this hotel, you are privy to all of the services of Hotel Hassler, including a delightful breakfast in Hotel Hassler. Il Palazzetto is right on the Spanish Steps, which is beautiful and quite entertaining. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The bed is king size and soooo comfy with nice linens and pillows. Nice walkin closet to hide suitcases. Housekeeping services come twice daily, and are excellent. The front desk staff is extremely helpful and personable. There is a taxi stand about 50 metres away from the hotel, and the metro is immediately beside the hotel. The area is quite an exclusive designer shopping district. We very much enjoyed our stay.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Issues faced - The air conditioner was not working the whole night, i complained couple of times to the staff and the best they could do was reset the system which led to nothing but more pain. The hotel was very good in general but the hot weather and lack of sleep made the stay not memorable at all.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Luxury, comfort and well worth it! - From literally the moment we arrived at the Hassler to check into our room at Il Palazetto we were treated royally by the staff and every step along the way was just as great an experience. The size, comfort and quality of the room were even beyond the high expectations I had based on the photos. The location was also superb with many great dining choices within a 10 minute walk and we were only an easy 20 - 30 minute walk away from the heart of Rome's historic district. Yes, it is true that in order to use the outstanding facilities at the Hassler you have to go up a flight or two in the elevator, walk through an outdoor patio/bar, go up a short flight of stairs and then cross a street, but what is also true is that it is only about 100 yards and very do-able for most travelers. And when you get there you are treated to a top-notch experience. We had several excellent breakfasts in the beautiful salon and finished up most evenings with a cocktail in the sumptuous Salon Eva while listening to a great pianist. Even though we were staying at Il Palazetto the staff treated us as if we were full-fledged guests at the Hassler. We also had a great view looking out onto the Spanish Steps, which did quiet down by the time we were back in our room and ready for bed. Another reviewer stated they were hesitant to tell others about what a find this is since there are only 4 rooms and I completely understand! For our next trip to Rome, this will be the first place we consider!!
• dylan (10/5): Lucky you staying here!!! - Wonderful. There is no better service in all of Rome. Lucky you to stay here. I almost don't want to tell you how wonderful the hotel is because they only have four rooms and I always want to stay with them. It's not just about the location.. it is the cleanliness, the use of the hassler next door, my fav hotel but a bit pricey for me.. fresh squeezed juices at breakfast. Clean, great bed, nice people.
