Kahvaltıda idare ederdi kötü puan veremem vaww da diyemem. Oda da malasef orta kalite otellerde olan o kötü koku var. Bu iyi değildi. Resepsiyondaki arkadaşlardan bitanesi inanılmaz umursamaz. Çalışmak için bir oda bir yer önerir misin dedik yer yok lobide oturun dedi !!! Yani puan kırdığım iki şey koku ve umursamaz tavırlar !

- Irene (8/5): Izmir, una piacevolissima sorpresa - Posizione strategica per raggiungere a piedi le maggiori attrazioni, taxi sempre disponibili a bordo hotel con prezzi molto buoni. Colazione molto abbondante di ottima qualità e varia, e personale molto disponibile e gentile. Fornito di due ascensori. Letti comodissimi. Il WC come in molte altre strutture che ho trovato in Izmir è dotato di rubinetto interno, cosa molto apprezzabile in assenza di bidé. Se proprio devo trovare il pelo nell'uovo, mancavano i fazzoletti di carta nel bagno e nei corridoi c'era spesso confusione, tuttavia questo non dipende dall'hotel ma dall'educazione delle persone.

Auf Nachfrage haben Sie uns Tipps gegeben , wo wir lecker essen können und welche Orte wir erkundigen können. Das Frühstück war entsprechend in Ordnung die Lage war sehr zentral. - Maria (6/5): ok but very disappointed - The Breakfast was ok but could have done with a menu for cooked breakfast, the location was in close proximity to the shops and a few restaurants I had been to the hotel on three separate occasions and the hotel has no spa or gym as advertised now and the pool area is very run down, as is the rest of the hotel, for the price you pay you can get a much better hotel elsewhere.

- Samina (4/5): Needs improvements - not 4 star standards - This hotel does not meet 4-star standards. I’ve traveled extensively in Istanbul and internationally. I experienced somel issues during my stay: Check-in experience: When I arrived, the manager was manning the front desk alone and was in an intense discussion with another staff member. I waited about a minute before even being acknowledged at an empty reception. Missing basic check-in information: Bell boys were the best part of the hotel. I wasn’t given Wi-Fi details or breakfast timings at check-in—information I only received because the bell boy volunteered it. Breakfast quality: On the first day, breakfast only offered boiled eggs. When I mentioned this to the front desk the next day, I was told that other egg types can be ordered—but there was no sign or communication to inform guests about this. I skipped breakfast for the remaining days. Room temperature control: Izmir weather fluctuated during my stay, and the hotel uses a central system with a fixed heating/cooling mode. I couldn’t choose heat vs. cool for my room. I was told that changing my room’s setting would change the entire floor’s temperature. Even 3-star hotels in Turkey typically allow individual AC mode control. Room replenishment issues: I twice requested both coffee and coffee mugs. Both times, the elderly housekeeper arrived with only coffee. Due to language barriers, I couldn’t explain that it was a front desk oversight, and I felt bad having to send him back for the mugs. Room condition: The sofa had cigarette burn marks despite the room being non-smoking. To be fair, some front desk staff were kind, and they did send a fruit tray as a damage-control gesture. However, the hotel has several areas that need improvement to meet proper 4-star standards

- Caro (7/5): Nice hotel in the city center of Izmir - The breakfast was very lovely and we also had the opportunity to park our rental car at the hotel! Staff overall was helpful and friendly with a decent knowledge of English. Also the location was excellent, being on a walking distance from the city center, Smyrna site, pier, etc. As soon as we entered the room there was funny (not so nice) smell and we reported this at the reception. The solution offered was a guy coming in the room with a spray but of course the smell came back after a couple of hours. Since we only had a short stay we didn't make a big deal out of it, but for a longer time it might not be ideal.

The hotel was excellent—my room was spacious, comfortable, and tastefully decorated in a calm, neutral style. I especially appreciated the separate seating area, which gave the room an even more open feel. The staff were very helpful and responsive. I had some dry cleaning done, and it was returned quickly and efficiently. The bed was comfortable, the ensuite bathroom was clean and well-equipped, and the hallway outside my room was quiet throughout my stay. Although I don’t usually eat breakfast, so I didn’t check out what was on offer, everything else about the hotel exceeded my expectations. It’s in a great central location, just a 5 to 8-minute walk to the sea front, with several good local restaurants nearby. I felt safe throughout my stay. Overall, I had no complaints and would definitely stay there again. Even though I was travelling alone, I think it would also be a great choice for families. I genuinely had NO complaints at all, everything about my stay was truly satisfactory.

The Kordon Hotel Cankaya has NEITHER but they are listed, with a photo of the indoor pool on the website. However, they are at the sister hotel, not this one. This is clearly misleading and the hotel description needs changing. This has spoiled our stay. The location is very good, but other than that i would definitely not recommend this hotel. The breakfast is poor. There are strategically placed mirrors which make the breakfast buffet look big, but the reality is that there isn't a good selection. Staff in the kitchen were arguing, do they not realise that their voices carry into the dining room and make guests uncomfortable? All in all a very poor, unprofessionally run hotel which you would do bestvto avoid!!!
- Traveler09728592080 (10/5): Amazing stay in heart of izmir - Have visited turkey many times but first time in izmir. Chose kordon hotel due to location and reviews and was def not disappointed! Se were a family of 4 and a family room can only sleep 3 due to an error i made. The hotel manager on duty very kindly up graded us with 2 rooms at no extra cost. Very kind of them. The rooms were immaculate, comfy bed and great shower and view from balcony. Breakfast was good. Also given a later checkout at no charge. Staffwere very helpful especially ismael who name i managed to remember. If in izmir would def stay here.

The staff were particularly very helpful in helping us adjust our room , especially Mr Anil The rooms could replace some of their bedding and towels as they appear to be over used and old . Overall , it’s a good stay for a short visit
- Esduar (2/5): - I never write reviews, but I felt I had to share this so others know what they are walking into. I visit Izmir often and usually stay at the Swiss Hotel in Alsancak. This time, I was trying to save money and chose this hotel instead. It was still pretty expensive regardless and I stayed for two weeks. The experience was disappointing from the start. The reception staff were consistently rude and unprofessional. This was not just someone having a bad day. It was a pattern throughout the stay. The valet service was just as frustrating. Many times I was told there was no parking, so I had to drive around Alsancak looking for a spot and pay extra out of pocket. Housekeeping was also a letdown. The room looked clean at first, but during the entire two weeks they never vacuumed once. Trash that was not placed directly in the bin was left in the room. It was clear that attention to detail and basic cleanliness were not priorities. The worst part was the overall energy. There was no sense of hospitality. It felt like the staff were annoyed by guests. A couple of workers were kind, but most seemed like they did not want to be there. If I had known how bad this would be, I would have booked a cheaper and lower-rated hotel. At least then I would have known what to expect. This hotel is not worth the price or the stress. Avoid it.

- Beniamin (6/5): Friendly staff and clean but no pool/spa during winter - Staff was really nice and the room was great. Unfortunately neither of the advertised pools nor the spa were open due to renovations/seasonality.

- Bakhtiyar (10/5): Exceptionally good! - This hotel is exceptionally good. Very clean and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and open to help with any questions. Breakfast is good. And the location is simply perfect. Still on the main street, but a little secluded, so there's not much noise. Beds are super-comfy

- Riza (7/5): Good - The location is near tram station and its easy to reach the must see places in Izmir,it's about 10mins walk to the the train station that directly stops at the Airport We have arrived late and we're really very tired,i 'm expecting to have a easy fast check in..and we we're asked to fill up forms that the informations are to found in our passports. Fixture of the hotel is outdated and the sofa in our room was dirty of some drink spilled on it.

- Mirco (6/5): Was expecting way better from a 4 star hotel in Izmir. - Location was central in izmir. Very noisy room, as there were roadworks during the evening up until the middle of the night. The window didn't close fully, so the noise was bad. The hotel is not in a very good state, some sheets have holes. The breakfast was not great either.

- Henrieta (9/5): Superb - Hotel was nice, clean and comfortable. In very good and safe location, close to the sea. Rooms were big enough, comfortable beds. Free bottled water. The breakfast was tasty and good quality, but very limited selection - from 4* hotel I would expect a bit more.
- Colin (8/5): Great City Break Hotel - Great VFM hotel in central Izmir. We drove and had problems parking with hotel so check and double check. Other than that all very good. Parking very busy.
- Anar (8/5): our stay - stayed for 4 nights with Family in rooms 109/110 - connected rooms. overall hotel was good - clean, friendly staff and location is great, walkable to almost everywhere while being quite. Only problem we faced was that our rooms were directly opposite to the elevators and area in front of elevators is not carpeted, therefore everyone walking from and to the elevators with their bags woke us up...
- Stewart (8/5): convenient location and comfortable hotel - Good location to visit the city. Hotel was clean and tidy, with attentive staff. room was located on first floor, above what seemed to be staff location for meeting and smoking, so smoke drifted into room, and was quite nosiy on occaision. Breakfast could have included more cereal choice other than plain corn flakes, or chocolate pops. (I rather have some muesli)

- Blake (8/5): Historic Stay - We have enjoyed our stay at the Kordon! The couples massage was excellent! Front desk staff was very informative and friendly. We are here looking at historic sites. The 2,000 + year old agora is a twelve minute walk from the hotel! The listing, however was, misleading. There is NO airport transfer from the hotel. We had to arrange our own.

- Rhino5858 (4/5): If you need wifi, don’t stay here - Ironically, to post this, I had to turn on cellular. WiFi is awful so that’s a non starter if you have work to do. . Gym is very moldy smelling from the indoor pool with little-to-no equipment. Hallways are nice. Mediocre overall. I would choose another place.
