Nice big balcony to sit on and look out on the water. The area was lovely and quiet. Short drive to the middle or Nelson Bay or Shoal Bay and central to most of the activities in the area. We would gladly stay again 🙂

- Renee (8/5): - We had a bit of a hiccup with keys upon arrival but it was sorted out quickly by the host. The apartment was clean, cosy and lovely with amble blankets, towels and tea. We loved that we could easily store our bikes in the garage and take off riding straight from the door. The only thing that I would say is that the shower’s water pressure was weak, but is expected for the era of the building. We loved our stay, it had stunning views, a quick walk straight onto the beach and it’s cute little balcony with a comfy day bed to chill out. Thank you, would love to return sometime soon!

- Cheerie (8/5): Relaxing - The unit was a great place to stay ,right next to the beach, a great walking path from nelson bay to shoal bay. Down behind the unit.
- Cathy (8/5): - Great location & views. Kitchen a little dated and despite closing doors & windows and putting food away etc had a multitude of bugs in it every night. Also found an open half full packet of chips under one of the beds. Shower temp was difficult to get right. Overall though the unit was set out nicely and had free WiFi, Netflix and Apple TV which was good. Owners were easy to communicate with and provided good information.

- Vivienne (8/5): Beachside apartment. - Older style apartment but with all amenities & off street garage parking - top class linen - towels etc - perfect for a couple or small family. Balcony with seating & easy access to the bay! We would definitely stay again!

While the apartment was comfortable, the electric stove was old and the hotplates were not efficient, and the shower was difficult to adjust for temperature. Despite these issues we enjoyed our stay and would return.

While it’s a short drive to surrounding shops and restaurants the location would be less attractive if you did not have your own transport but that is the only slightly negative thing I could say. I would highly recommend this place.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Right on the beach. Beautiful spot. So wonderful to watch the sunrise from the balcony each day. Minor cleaning could be freshened up. Shower screen rims, taps, corners etc.

- Brian (10/5): A Little Piece of Paradise! - What a fabulous location! Lay in bed at night and listen to the gently sounds of the bay which is so close you can nearly put your hand out to touch it! Easy walk to Shoal Bay. The apartment may be a little dated but the little touches makes more than up for it. Coffee machine, linen provided, towels, soaps, even the ice trays were filled and ready. Loved our stay here and can't wait to return!

- Chung Shun (8/5): Convenient - The property is well located. It is convenient to various tour attractions and dining areas. The Shoal Bay beach is just behind the unit for a quick swim or a walk along the beach. The unit has its charm, but it also needs some minor maintenance for the exhaust fan and shower.

- Donna (10/5): Best location and what a view! - This sturdy retro 1st floor unit has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The first thing you notice as you walk in is the spectacular view of the bay and the Heads. The unit is quiet and within walking distance to Shoal Bay, Little Beach, Nelson Bay and even Fingal Beach. Our car got to stay in it’s locked garage. Little luxuries like the dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, coffee machine, reclining lounge chairs and Netflix really make a difference.
- kim (6/5): - the apartment is closer to shoal bay than nelson bay which was ok for us as we like walking the exterior of the building is older so looks abit tired the interior of the apartment has had some renovations but not a complete makeover and could do with areally good spring clean which would make alot of difference especially in these covid times had a nice break but wont be hurrying back

- Cheryl (10/5): “How’s the serenity?” - Entirely peaceful, fabulous view and nothing to hear at night except the waves. This little apartment was very comfortable and homey in a building at the end of a cul de sac with reserve between it and the beach. An older unit, it was still well equipped with full kitchen, a washing machine and dryer, wifi (a rarity in properties in this area), a lock-up garage and a second car spot. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable and there are 2 single beds and a double in the second bedroom. For the most part, it felt like I was the only person in the building! Admittedly, I was there in July before the school holidays started, but I have never stayed in a place that was so quiet. The area itself was lovely and we did the whale watching cruise with the Moonshadow company, lucky enough to see whales, seals and dolphins. I will definitely return.

The only thing we could mention was that the clothes dryer does not work properly. There is not warm or hot setting that works. It only blows cold air and the clothes will not dry.

It was dusty on the dining table and carpets. I try to use the vacuum machine but it was half broken .. not doing its job properly. A strange smell all over the place.. possibly it was really old property. Inside Microwave.. it was really dirty. I have spent almost an hour to clean and make it habitable. It's just stolen the first excitement of my holiday.

Beautiful Shoal Bay beach is SO close across a well maintained, almost private lawned area.The unit is fitted out with everything guests would need from wi-fi to beach chairs and beach towels. Everything was very clean and of good quality. Kitchen had ample crockery and utensils. The roomy balcony was perfect for relaxing or dining.
