- Kelly (10/5): Warm, inviting and cosy. Feels like a warm hug. - Beautiful country pub. Friendly staff. The beds are super comfy. The meals are 10/10. Amazing atmosphere in the pub and dining room and the wood fire is delicious. Will be back again in summer to enjoy the beer garden.

- Brendon (7/5): - Great pub with friendly staff. The Hilton cabin is a bit on the rustic side.
- Marie (10/5): -
- Gavin (10/5): - Loved the room and location.
- Jaimie (7/5): - Bed was comfortable and clean. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Food was good. There was nowhere to get drinking water from after the pub shut.
No lamps and bedside shelves.
- Deirdre (10/5): - The staff made it memorable - the food was amazing and value for money.
- BH (8/5): - Friendly staff. Nice meal. Good for a budget priced overnight stay.
- Craig (8/5): -
- Charles (7/5): Good country pub accommodation - Very comfortable bed and quality pillow Labels for soaps and shampoo dispensers
- Maximilian (8/5): -
- SJ0161 (9/5): - Friendly helpful staff, complimentary breakfast, clean and comfortable accommodation. Local to what I needed. Great food. What more could you ask for. Nothing

- Danielle (8/5): Lovely spot - Charming pub
- John Zaitseff (6/5): -
- Paul (6/5): Ok for one night - Remote location.
Free camping is available. Food at the pub is marginal
- Goodwin (7/5): - Good staff. Quirky very old cottage. Nice pizza. Lovely setting. The possum family playing on the roof all night
- Selma (6/5): -
- Niebuur (10/5): So much fun. Cold beers, great food, live music - Awesome country pub. Rare these days!
- Simon (10/5): Très bon rapport qualité prix, très bon hôtel avec petit déjeuner inclus , vraiment parfait - Très bien. Parfait. L’accueil est très sympathique, le personnel est très agréable. La chambre était propre, et les espaces communs aussi. Le petit déjeuner est également très appréciable. Très bon hôtel. Aucun défaut.
- Matthew (9/5): Lovely cosy hotel. All people friendly, very nice landlady, nice sense of community - Breakfast was good, it was very nice that it was offered, and as a self-serve. Not all hotels offer breakfast! Also the landlady was great. She saw I was travelling alone, and introduced me to other pommy backpackers at dinner. Made the experience loads better for me Nothing major
- Sophie (5/5): We enjoyed the dinner at Weldborough and the drive to the historic pub. Can see the potential of this venture and am kee - The pub was beautiful and had fantastic meals. Staff were all friendly and we enjoyed our dinner and drinks in the historic building. Stayed overnight in the cottage. Bathroom was clean but we ran out of hot water within minutes. Bedroom sheets were clean. Unfortunately we were kept awake by family of birds living in cottage roof. Room could use a bit of a dusting where spiderwebs and dead bugs have built up.
- Chris (9/5): A convenient and comfortable base with friendly and helpful staff and great meals. - Staff were very friendly and helpful. Meals were great.
- Tony (10/5): -
- Judy (6/5): A very unique arrangement in Weldborough - It was a good location for us after our day of hiking. The owner was very friendly. The tavern had surprisingly good food. It had a completely updated shower. It was very isolated, there really is no town at all. Kind of weird set up-we had the only little cabin literally in a field among campers. There were other people that stayed in the main building. Very basic, but adequate accommodations.

- Ro (8/5): Excellent stay with great atmosphere - Great, old style pub accomodation. Perfectly basic and basically perfect!
Very basic rooms just with beds and no other additions. Warm with comfortable beds.
Very friendly atmosphere. Excellent pub meals. Access to pub area after hours as well with wood fire stove, couch, board games, tea/coffee Not a huge problem but good to bring a head torch at night for reading as no lamps near beds
- Alison (7/5): A unique, rustic cottage in a fabulous location. - It is really difficult to grade this property. The staff are welcoming and brilliant and the vibe in the hotel is great. We ate in the restaurant which provided great pizzas. We were staying in the cottage which has a fine history and is about 100m from the pub. It’s very rustic and has a little balcony and fire pit. The shower is excellent with plenty of hot water and the bedding was clean. There is a good heating system and it soon warmed up. The cottage is in need of some repair. There is a window held together with tape and bits of debris in the joins of the ceiling. The bed is creaky and in the night there were mammals moving under the floorboards. We totally appreciate that this is because of its wonderful location in the forest but it resulted in a less than peaceful night.
- Amber (10/5): Comfy, welcoming - simplicity done well! - Loved that everything was accessible, the owners and locals were super friendly and lovely, everything here was clean and visibly maintained. It was simplicity done to a high standard 😊 N/A
- Gia Han (10/5): -
- Georgina (9/5): -
- Nadine (9/5): - Lovely quiet pub in a beautiful area. Food was great. Simple comfy rooms and friendly hosts.
- Princy (4/5): - Shared bathrooms are dirty and no proper cleaning service.
Got expired bread items for the continental breakfast (not at all satisfactory) that made us skip eating breakfast there.
Unfriendly staff.
Totally unhappy with this room stay.
Not at all recommended.
- Tim TY Chou (9/5): - A cozy spot to stay at along with decent pub food. I enjoyed my fish and beer for dinner. The staff were laid-back but warm.
- Patricia (8/5): - A small country pub close by the Blue Tiers in NE Tasmania - open fire, generous meals, quiet, clean and so friendly…just what you want after a day of adventuring 🙏
- Russell (10/5): - Great service and quality food
- Wyatt D (10/5): - Fine historic Hotel from a bygone era! Christie is an awesome hostess and though I did not actually eat a meal there, the meals looked and smelled wonderful( I had already eaten before arrival)! Quiet peaceful sleep, wonderful wood stove heat for the dining room/bar area. Nice surprise, breakfast included!
- alecia (10/5): -
- Sergio (4/5): - The room was cold and was not very clean (rests of previous guests behind the bed including an earplug)
- Julie (9/5): - Very nice and authentic hotel in Weldborough. Amazing value for money, including breakfast, diner was really good as well. The room was small but functional, and the amenities were clean. I really recommend this place.
- The Altons (7/5): - Bedrooms and bathrooms were cold heater didn't heat room up very well Was nice to have place to ourself
- Nicholas (8/5): - The queen room was a little small for our liking and came with sheets that didn't fit.

- Michelle (6/5): Pleasant stay - Room was clean. Staff were friendly The property was slightly old and dated. The rooms were small and the window let in a draft, the bathroom was shared. The location isn’t the best
- Felicity (10/5): A treasure in the wilderness . Don’t miss out ! - Authentic historical accomadation with amazing atmosphere. Warm fires , great food and incredible hospitality . I will call again. Great meals, warm room And location to the gem fields .
- Caroline (10/5): Fantastic stay and will be back very soon. Thank you Kristy & team. - Staff were absolutely awesome! Made me feel like part of the family. Food was exceptional. Best schnitzel I’ve ever had (made in house). Bed was super comfy. Very clean and the warm fire just topped it all off. I’ll be back soon. Nothing
- David (10/5): - This is a magic place. Basic but all you need. Great food and vibe at the old pub. I hadn’t expected it to be crowded with campers but I probably should have considering it was Easter. Otherwise it would have been an even more beautiful tranquil place to stay.
- Maxwell (8/5): Very good - Breakfast was good. Meals were great, best parmi I have had for years and had a great nights sleep. Staff were great.
- Laura (7/5): Good -
- Luke (10/5): - The live bands over the weekend really created a great small town atmosphere and clearly showed that the hotel wants everyone to enjoy their stay.

- John (4/5): Breakfast situation needs to be improved. Didn't feel value for money - Bed was very comfortable. Meal in pub was also good. Breakfast was poor. Ran out of milk. No easy supply of water for kettle. One of the 2 bathrooms ran out of toilet paper. Room was very small. No bedside reading lamps
- Karen (8/5): - The room was a bit on the small side. But apart from that nothing else.

The accommodation is rustic, the lounge room has a big fire place. The hotel is rich in history and the area of Weldborough has a strong connection with tin mining and Chinese culture.
