• Paquita (10/5): Volvería sin dudarlo - El anfitrión muy amable y atento. El apartamento muy confortable y decorado con mucho gusto. Parece todo nuevo, como si lo estrenaras. Un jardín espectacular, muy bien cuidado. Las vistas preciosas, mar y viñedos. Se llega al pueblo en un momento con el coche. Se podría ir andando pero la subida es considerable. Ah y el anfitrión gatuno todo un personaje. Lo único que me pasa alguna vez es la foto que en este caso no se corresponde con el balcón que teníamos nosotros. Estábamos más encerrados. Pero no tiene importancia

• daniel (6/5): bon début de séjour la deuxième nuite par drole nous n 'avons pas pu dormir avant 3 H du matin - André est charmant et de très bon conseil la deuxième nuit a été très compliqué des voisins très bruyants et le logement est très sonore on entend tout ce que fait les voisins et dans notre cas des jeunes très festifs il faut faire respecter le silence après une certaine heure compte du manque d 'isolation phonique
• Anna (10/5): A peaceful and magical getaway in a stunning location with an incredibly hospitable host. - The host, Andres, is a wonderful and helpful person who welcomed us warmly despite the rain and late hour, even leaving us delicious wine from his own vineyard. The house is incredibly spacious, senior-friendly (no thresholds), and located in a fairytale-like setting where you wake up to birds chirping. We also really appreciated the exceptionally comfortable pillows, the warm duvets, and the beautiful panorama of the Getaria area. The house can get a bit chilly on colder days, and we found the kitchen lacking in basic supplies like salt, oil, or coffee. Additionally, while the beds were comfortable, the double bed consisted of two singles joined together, and we missed having an ironing board to go with the provided iron.
• Michael (10/5): Absolute aanrader in Baskenland - Mooi appartement, zeer volledig uitgerust. Mooie ligging met prachtig uitzicht. Leuke faciliteiten voor kinderen. Locatie is ideaal om Baskenland te verkennen, vlakbij Zarautz en Zumaia, maar ook San Sebastian en Bilbao zijn goed bereikbaar. Eigenaar is heel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. -

• José (10/5): No te lo pierdas - El alojamiento es maravilloso, las vistas son espectaculares. Llegamos y Andrés nos estaba esperando, es un excelente anfitrión, muy cercano y super amable. El apartamento más grande de lo que parecía en las fotos, estaba con todo detalle y limpísimo. Nos ha encantado ! Sin duda volveremos. Lo recomiendo cien por cien Pasar solo una noche, me hubiera quedado mucho más

• Ana-am (9/5): Como sacado de un cuento - Todo : el entorno y las vistas, la casa maravillosamente cuidada, el anfitrión, Andrés, majísimo y super dispuesto a ayudar y dar ideas de sitios que visitar, lo limpísimo que estaba todo (somos alérgicas al polvo y a veces lo pasamos mal), desayunar mirando al mar... Y ese silencio que solo rompen los pajarillos por la mañana, qué maravilla, es como de cuento. Repetiré en cuanto pueda Por quejarme, que la cama hace ruido al moverte, jajaja... • Marcellin (10/5): Magnifique et reposant - Mes amis et moi sommes ravis de notre week-end nous sommes près à y revenir à l’occasion de prochaines vacances ! La maison ainsi que le jardin est incroyable et La vue sur la mer est magnifique ! L’endroit est calme adapté aux familles avec enfants et animaux et est très bien entretenu. Le propriétaire nous a très bien accueilli et a pris le temps de nous expliquer les consignes ainsi que ce qu’il y avait à visiter à Getaria et aux alentours. La communication n’a pas été difficile. • PRISCILLA (10/5): It’s the idea of a dream home for me. - I loved everything about this place. The serenity, the view, the comfort, the warmth, the hospitality. Location is great too, just a short drive to San Sebastián and away from the hustle and bustle. The restaurants nearby are amazing too. The house was a little cold for us at times (since we come from a tropical country); but the shower was hot and nice. Overall, it was very bearable and still comfortable.

La casa está muy bien, bien equipada y muy limpia, el entorno magnífico, vistas espectaculares, rodeados de viñedos de txacolí de la DO de Getaria. So many highlights: the wonderful wine from Andrés vineyards, the beautiful Camino del Norte walk and short walk into Getaria, the fabulous fruit from the trees in the yard, the lovely apartment, and so much more. La ubicación, las instalaciones, el mobiliario, la facilidad para aparcar, la limpieza, la belleza del entorno... Pero sin duda, lo mejor de todo es el trato de sus anfitriones. Andrés y Maikar se portaron maravillosamente con nosotros. Además de ofrecerte el disfrute de las instalaciones y de informarte sobre los lugares interesantes de la zona, hacen gala de una hospitalidad que hace que te sientas como en tu propia casa. Nada. We had a wonderful time in their really well thought out and provisioned 2 bedroom house. Fantastic, zero stress, peaceful, the view! A welcome bottle of wine from his family's vineyard round the corner, superb with barbecue langoustines and salmon. We went, we tasted, we bought 4 cases. Couldn't find a shop with charcoal for the barbeque, Andres provided a half bag of his and directed us to the best fish merchants downtown. Advised where to park in San Sebastian, provided fruit from his lemon and grapefruit trees, amazing. We felt 'at home', zero stress and will go back for longer next time, using as a base for day trips further afield rather than moving on to other venue accommodation. Nothing, nada, not a thing, all good.

His family produces also a traditional wine which is waiting for the guests as a compliment from the owners, it is very nice. The ocean view from the apartment is amazing. • Petra (9/5): lovely choice for the area - Andres was a friendly helpful host (living in the same house). The apartment was huge and clean. Beds were comfy. View was spectacular and worth a bit of a distance from the town. Kitchen was well equipped. Happy we could pay by card on the spot. Great location for hiking in the surrounding. Quite a few restaurants/pintxos bars although it was low seasons. Not that close to town though 15-20 min walk can do.

The apartment was spotless, accessible, and blissfully quiet. Some of the reviews mention being able to walk to town for meals, which you could technically do, but would require a hike up steep, dark, winding, narrow roads on the way back. I’m big into walking, but it was a no-go, even for me.

The views were stunning and the yard area was great for the kids. They loved running around and playing on the swing and with the soccer goal. The apartment had everything we needed and was very comfortable and very clean. This was a wonderful place to stay and my son already wants to go back next year. Everything was great, we have no complaints.

It is a straightforward walk into the village to get to the bars and restaurants and enjoy a glass or two of Txakoli. The property was spotlessly clean and well equipped.
• Theo (10/5): This is one of those rare exquisite finds that I hope to return to for many more visits. - I cannot imagine finding a more beautiful place to stay in Basque Country. From the awesome view of the coast and the tip of France from our windows and terrace; to the surrounding rolling green tapestry of vineyards, hedges, fields and gardens; to the sounds of belled sheep, baaing and ringing as they traversed their pastures; to the fruit trees,manicured lawn,friendly dogs, comfortable beds and gracious hosts; every minute of our four night stay was enchanting.

The grounds were lovely and the apartment was equally beautiful, as well as well-stocked and comfortable. The location was about 30 minutes to San Sebastián and an hour to Bilbao. For us, the location was perfect. The house itself is set just up a hill outside Getaria among beautiful and peaceful vineyards. We didn't make it to a vineyard, but there were many close by. The host was very friendly and met us upon arrival. Every morning we had a view of the ocean from our breakfast table.
