- Andrew (10/5): Perfect relaxing, comfortable getaway. - Comfortable, lots of lovely thoughtful touches to make things easier and like home; such as pegs, hooks, shelves etc. In the right places. Decor was nice, the location itself is fabulous, so quiet and restful. The owners are super helpful and nice, nothing is too much trouble. Nothing. It was all great.
- Brutko (10/5): Quick weekend trip - Older hotel but kept in great condition and very clean. Only thing slightly negative was it took a while for hot water to start flowing in the shower. But it wasnt unexpected as noted the building is older.

I guess we didn't realize there was no beach. the steps are brutal going down to the beach and especially coming back up. the view of the lake is spectacular from the property, the cabins are small and musty smelling. WE expected more for $ 277.00 per night. we did not stay the second nite due to Canadian wildfire smoke.

The view of the lake and distance to everything was great! It was also great that you had access to a private entrance to the lake beach area via flight of stairs to enjoy the view of the lake as well!

- Card (10/5): Wonderful place to stay highly recommend. - We stayed 3 nights and 4 days and it was wonderful. The view of Lake Erie and the sunsets were spectacular. Bald eagles could often be spotted flying overhead. It's not far from Presque Isle Park and the beaches there were excellent. Our suite had a Kitchen , enough to make our own meals. The staff and or owners are so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable of the area. The pool which I believe is heated looked beautiful and well maintained. Would definitely stay there again in the future There isn't much there to not like. The wifi was a little short of what we were hoping for. We did have some work to do but couldn't stay connected. That was ok though we were there to decompress from that. Also it was a bit windy and chilly but that is just the time of year, next time would go a little earlier in the summer.

- Navigator01553070591 (10/5): Best lodging in Erie - This has been the greatest lodging I’ve ever paid for. The customer service was top tier. It’s such a great little place to stay. The sunset views over the lake are incredible from the large chairs set out overlooking the cliff side. It has stairs that lead down the cliff and to the lake. We absolutely LOVED our stay at this place

- Kathryn (9/5): Charming Retro Feel - Location was perfect. Our room was very retro which we liked. The pine paneled walls were charming and the bed was comfortable. The view over Lake Erie from Adirondack chairs was the perfect place to watch the sunset. Rustci vibe but charming. Walls a little thin but not so much as to interfere with sleep.

Really enjoyed watching the sunset and walking the steep stairs down to and up from the lake. The town of North East is nearby, although I stayed on my cabin porch and adjacent picnic table for dinner. I would definitely return.

The reason you would want to forget expensive parking paying$$$to stay near a water treatment plant on the bayside in Erie PA ARE THE MOST ROMANTIC SOUL INSPIRING VIEWS at sunset and sunrise--and listen you have the $$ to go out and eat and enjoy the pool opened 9am to 9pm AND BE SEE Lake Erie. Our only concern was due to continuous rain and our suite was located in the rear, with no direct parking, we were forced to walk through very wet grass every time we left the suite.

Beds were comfortable and we loved that we could actually open the windows! The hosts were friendly, helpful, and lovely. The grounds were beautiful and the entire stay was great. Stayed one night in the winter so it was a little cold (bathroom floor was FREEZING but fine with the bath mat), but could see the potential for a great summer vacation. Staff was beyond nice. Because it was winter they had a Dyson space heater in and working, definitely needed!!! The room was small but clean and beds extremely comfortable. Would have loved to spend more than just an overnight, passing through.

The cottage wasn’t as close to the lake as we thought and the refrigerator as very noisy so we had to close the bedroom door which made it warm in the bedroom so we turn on the ceiling fan. It made a noise all night so we didn’t really get a good nights sleep. The shower wasn’t clean so we didn’t use it. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The water was beautiful. It was such a joy to be able to wake up in the morning with a cup of coffee and watch the sun rise. The next time I would definitely get one of the houses. It was just my husband and I so I didn’t think we needed it. But I would have enjoyed a bigger space.

The owners Brian & Jen are so welcoming, friendly, helpful, provide old fashion hospitality & the cleanest rooms/cottages!!! You will have several delightful options for lodging - hotel rooms, mini cottages, larger cottages and a classic airstream camper!!!! - all of which are noteworthy & will suit every need. Located directly ON the lake. this property has magnificent sunset views of Lake Erie from their grassy knoll while sitting in comfy Adirondack chairs ( sipping wine of course)! There is no other place to stay when visiting Lake Erie wine country than Lakeview on the Lake. So convenient to the wineries, breweries, restaurants & quaint towns.. we won’t need to travel far to get to them. We will be back again very soon! Thank you for a most memorable stay!

- William (7/5): Beautiful but expensive view - The motel has a beautiful view of Lake Erie, with chairs positioned looking out over the lake. The motel is in a quiet location. I felt the view did not justify paying $200 for rather unexceptional quarters. The cabins, etc., had a feel of history about them, but it wasn't really what I was looking for at that price.

The bed and pillows were uncomfortable for us, I wish the parking lot streetlight would go out after 10pm , the area to sit and watch beautiful sunset would be perfect for stargazing as well, but the huge streetlamp comes on and you cant see anything. or at least direct it away from lake? I'm sure its about safety though and probably mandated.

- Peter (9/5): Wir würden immer wieder hierher kommen. - Personal sehr freundlich und immer jemand vorort. Wenn man mehrere Tage bleibt, muss man selber reinigen, kann aber jeden Tag frische Handtücher und Kaffee holen. Es hat verschiedene Grillstellen die genutzt werden dürfen.
