Guest Reviews
- Doyle (6/5): - Front desk was not staffed at check in. Had to wait for someone to return. T v did not work had to change rooms. On check out the front desk was not manned. Had to wait . I got tired of waiting so I left the keys on the desk and left . Appears the front desk is understaffed.
- Dayle (10/5): - Great hotel. Disappointed that the full service restaurant was closed, but everything else was great.
- Dan (6/5): - It was a nice hotel overall but I had a huge problem checking in. They didn't get my reservation from you guys until 11 pm, I had paid for the room at 7:20 pm. I was at the hotel, ready to go to bed at 9:30. It was miserable and I probably won't use expedia in the future.
- Monique (2/5): - Our bed had pubic hair in it. The shower was dirty. There was hair all over the table and our room smelt like old feet and cheese
- Chet (10/5): - Great place to stay! Staff was friendly and the beds are very comfortable.
- Gerald (10/5): - Thank you
- Janet (10/5): Great little casino/hotel! - Very clean and quiet, nice casino and workers there!
- Chet (10/5): - Very comfortable bed
- james (10/5): - nice place
- Chris (10/5): - Amazing and wonderful staff! Sweet girls checking us in. Everyone seems happy. Very clean hotel and casino as well. Happy with the food meal opportunities. And their Long Island ice teas were off the charts wonderful! Hiccup lol
- Maria (10/5): - An excellent place to get away and detox from the concrete jungle & city traffic. Great views everywhere you turn. Surrounded by nature; vineyards, trees & rolling green hills. My only issue was that my room was very warm. I turned the A/C to a cool 72*f. The air was cool in the common area living space, but could not feel it coming from the vents in our room. It would have been nice to have a ceiling fan in our room to help bring the temperature down. Other than that, everything was fantastic! šš
- Kim (10/5): - Everything was great
- Joseph (10/5): - Great Band Saturday Night
- Diane (10/5): - I like that itās smaller than other casinos.
- Ana (8/5): - It was fine for a quick one night stay. The carpet in the room was stained, not enough towels in the bathroom.
They only had 3 pillows on the bed (usually 4).
I appreciated the shampoo/conditioner that was provided to the guest.
- Misty (10/5): - Great staff
- Jennifer (10/5): - Our stay was enjoyable. The staff was terrific. The hallway was quiet, and the room was clean. The first time we stayed, the room was not cleaned well. I would say that they could update some of the furniture. The king-size bed seemed larger than a standard king. The bed was really firm, also.
- Ramon (4/5): - Nothin much to do for an expensive night stay
- Seyrahn (8/5): - We went to kids and the pool was lovely outdoor pool.
- Beau (10/5): - Loved it
- Josephine (8/5): - I like the convenience and quietness of the area. The staff are helpful.
- Steven (10/5): You get an A+ - The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The hotel seems to have good security measures. The staff is always friendly and I was always greeted by everyone with a smile. This is my second time staying here and I'll definitely return again. One of the nicest hotels to stay at in the area.
- Aaron (8/5): - Room was nice, staff was awesome.
- Robert (10/5): - The room was clean except the two chairs...they were super stained and I wondered why they were not cleaned or replaced. The pool was nice, restaurant good and casino good.
- amie (2/5): Terrible place - The casino did not have any ATM machines that would accept any of mine nor my husbands cards. The employees said it was because we are from out of town..we literally live 2 hours away. Since we could not retrieve any money for our trip, we decided to stay elsewhere. Upon attempting to check out the desk girl calls security to search our room for God knows what reason. Do not recommend this casino or hotel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Robinson Rancheria Retreat - Robinson Rancheria was a quick weekend get away for us. We were delightfully surprised upon our arrival. We arrived early but still allowed to register. Staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was perfect, clean, spacious, and quiet. We loved that the casino was Smoke Free and not too big. Had a large variety of machines and card tables, 4 lanes of bowling, swimming pool. We ate at the restaurant and the food was plentiful and amazing. There was a live band playing on the patio at night so we also got our dancing shoes on!
The bed was super comfortable however they need to invest in better pillows.
We will definitely be returning for future stays here š
- Chet (8/5): - Great place! Many loud people , but I realize that itās a casino.
- Sandra (8/5): - Easy to get around
- Kelly (6/5): - TV was out when we checked in and took over an hour to get someone paged to the hotel front desk. Bathroom floor was sticky & wallpaper was peeling in a couple spots. Spotlights in parking lot shine right at hotel windows so have to keep curtains closed vs enjoying any kind of view. Pool was nice, but no extra towels provided and there again you have to find staff to assist. Felt like a bare minimum type of stay. And room had zero information on where to eat or if room service was offered and couldn't take my kids to eat in the casino, wasn't gambling anyways so this info would have been very helpful if they wanted me spending my money at their restaurants. Got fast food & Safeway delivery instead
- Carrie (2/5): - We had just pulled into California for the beginning of a vacation and this was the hotel that we booked for the night and I have never been more disappointed in a hotel or its staff. The employees here were unkind and treated us as a burden. One of the reasons we booked this hotel was to enjoy the pool. However, it was dirty and there were no lounge chairs or tables for anyone to sit. Truly disappointing stay. The pictures of the hotel and pool are deceiving.
- Martin (10/5): - Great area
- Philip (10/5): Clean hotel/casino minutes from Clear Lake - The room was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. This hotel provided us with a nice place to stay, while visiting friends for a 4th of July BBQ.
- Susana (10/5): - Excellent
- Robert (8/5): - Pretty good room. Nice casino. Good service super slow.
- jerry (10/5): - i Stay there every time i come to town, always found it meets all my needs, like ample parking, great food & beverage, very suitable rooms & ammenities, secure & quiet. Very friendly staff !!!
- Therese (6/5): Not really a family place to stay. - First night of a road trip with my Granddaughter. The pool was in a weird place; the restaurant had a limited menu and limited seating. The staff were nice and the room clean.
- Donna (8/5): - Good staff and friendly hotel was fairly clean and new.
- William L (8/5): Toilet needs to he cleaned - Everything was great till we lifted the toilet seat š½ was not pretty
- Marsha (10/5): - Small children running down the hallway. Other than that itās a very nice hotel and staff is great.
- Joshua (8/5): - Solid choice for a place to stay in Lakeport. It was clean and quiet. Air conditioning worked well, plenty of parking. Decor is a little dated.
- Katie (8/5): - It was ok for the night
- Gerardo (4/5): - The carpet was stained and looked like it had not been vacuumed. The cable TV was not working. I asked at the front desk, and when I mentioned the dirty carpet, both receptionists just looked at each other laughed and said they would take care of the issue, but they never did. Called the front desk about room service they said it's only done after a three-
day stay. Very unsatisfied with this Casino Hotel. They won't get my service ever again.
- Donna (10/5): - Just spent the night so not much to say
- Wayne (8/5): - We have stayed at this casino hotel in the past. We don't gamble, rather we've been in the area for business several times. Although not new, it looks quite new and is well maintained overall. As with any lodging facility, it can experience a malfunction. One previous time we stayed there, the heater in our room wouldn't respond to the thermostat setting. It continued heating until the room became uncomfortably warm in the middle of the first night of our stay. We were switched to another in the morning upon request. The rooms are nicely appointed, the beds are comfortable, stocked with expected items, the exception being facial tissue. The restaurant is more of a deli and pizza parlor with moderately acceptable, warm and cold foods. sort of a pizza parlor with moderately acceptable traditional foods, not particularly well prepared. What would you expect of a casino? However, the other casino immediately to the west on Hwy. 20 is better. We don't dine at this one, but would dine at the other option, just a quarter mile or so away. There's not a lot of comparable choices in the immediate area. If you don't mind walking on the periphery of a casino to the front desk or the elevators, this is an acceptable choice. Staff is courteous and helpful. There is security and the parking lot, immediately outside the front door is well lighted and feels safe. After the first night of our initial stay wrestling with the heater, everything has worked well. We'll return.
- Marilyn (10/5): - We were there 1 night for a graduation, we have family in area and usually stay here. Its located between relatives!
- Mary (8/5): - Quiet room far from the casino action, which was what we wanted.
- Gerald (10/5): Nice place to stay in Upper Lake - Rooms are large and spacious. Decor is a little dated but the bed was comfy and we had plenty of room for visiting with family. Staff is pleasant. We always stay at Robinsons when visiting the Clear Lake area. On-site restaurant has improved immensely since our last visit and the food was excellent this time.
- Lana (8/5): - It was a nice stay
- Joseph (8/5): - Was really surprised that the restaurant was only open on the weekends, There was a food court like counter to order food from. The steak sandwich we had was very good and talking with some others their food was really good. Just had to take your food and go find someplace to eat it with plastic utensils and plastic clam shell plates. Rooms were clean and spacious bed was a little hard for me and I like more pillows as there was only 3 on a king size bed. Based on the area this is probably the best value and consistency around. Also good cheap fuel across the street.
- Catrina (10/5): - It was a big room
- Wayne (6/5): - Clean just old
- Lucy (8/5): - I like the feel of a older hotel but kept up with new amenities. The staff were helpful and very pleasant.
- Alfredo (10/5): - Like
- Christina (8/5): - Convenient
- Charles (10/5): - Perfect for what i needed. Staff was helpful and kind.
- Sumerr (10/5): - The best place for a good time and the beds are AMAZING and SO comfortable
- Sheri (10/5): - Everyone was helpful and friendly. Very clean property. Loved the room.
- Holly (8/5): - Very basic hotel but clean
- Samantha (4/5): - There was issues with payments . I was told I would get my refund but because of my banks I may not. Itās been pending for over a month
- Ellen (10/5): - Staffing was slim and dining options limited. Slots had poor returns.
- Natalie (6/5): Not that impressed with the service - Wasnāt told when reservation were made that Iād be charged 100 on my card for deposit and if I didnāt use my card I needed to give them 200 cash! Outrageous. Still waiting on my refund on my card
- Wayne (10/5): - We usually avoid staying at casino hotels if there are other alternatives, as many allow smoking and one is in the proximity of the casino, which usually means walking right through it to get to the front desk, etc. That isn't the case with this casino hotel. Check-in is off to the side as one walks into the building, as is the elevator (yes, one, but it was never busy - we were there Wed. to Fri. - maybe it's more in demand on the weekend, but we couldn't say). What passes for a full restaurant is only open Thur. through Sun., so what looks and functions much like a combination deli - pizza dispensary is a little limited with its options. There are a few restaurants in the area, though it's a bit of a drive. The same would be true for other lodging facilities in the Upper Lake area, so there's no good way to improve on that. It's a small town environment. Our room(s) were clean and comfortable. We stayed in standard king(s). I add the "(s)" because we experienced a not-so-minor-glitch during the first night. The typical wall-mounted unit failed to respond to the thermostat setting and continued to heat until we woke up in the night because the room was 84 degrees. We switched off the heat and turned on the A/C, which cooled the room off, but it continued cooling, as before, so it was brisk until we woke up in the morning. So, we switched it to heat, which was effective, but not energy efficient. They switched rooms for us. The second room was fine. We'll return again.
- John (10/5): - nice place
- Cesar (10/5): I will stay again! - The rooms very clean bed so comfortable so I got a pretty good night
- John (10/5): - The staff and especially the security were very polite, helpfully, and vary insitefull.yr hr department did a really good job with the staff these ones are keeper please don't change a thingšš I'll see you next week.i appreciate you Robinson
- John (10/5): - only had 1 snake bar.
- DANICA (8/5): - Overall experience is great, room was clean, and request for more pillows was immediate.
- Donald (6/5): - Ok but the no smoking in a casino thing is really dumb
- Reyna (8/5): - We were 3 people and Bathrooms Towels were for 1 person, asked assistant for TV then I was told by the front desk if I didn't figure out myself to call them, nobody came along with me to teach me how to do it, I am always visiting them, seems like no improvement at all about Hotel Service,
- Sherlene (8/5): - All employees were helpful and friendly.
- Edward (10/5): - people
- Joseph (10/5): - Nice rooms and comfortable bed
- Thomas M (6/5): - Service was not friendly like we were an inconvenience
- Reyna (10/5): - I didn't liked that Bathroom
Towels are only served for 1 person when the Room is 3 peoples staying overnight.
- Carolyn (8/5): - Convenient location and affordable
- Rosanne (10/5): - Very friendly staff. The rooms are clean, comfortable and a great price!
- Michael (10/5): - Nice place to stay
- Stephane (10/5): - Very good international standards.
- AndrƩ (8/5): - Road noise was fairly loud as it's right off the highway.
- Michael (10/5): - Always a nice place to stay
- Linda (10/5): Clean, comfortable rooms. - Rooms are always clean. I feel safe and there are security locks on the doors. Not many electrical outlets so I usually use the bathroom to charge phone or unplug lamp to use the outlet.
- Brookyln (10/5): - Clean n nice
- Verified traveler (10/5): A Comfortable and decent hotel - The Robinson Rancheria Casino and Hotel is one of the better places to stay in Lake County. A very nice hotel with clean rooms and a comfortable bed! The casino is small, but there are some decent slot games and Bingo Hall. The dining/restaurant is small and somewhat "confusing"(the exact words of one of the waitstaff".
I still had a good stay, nonetheless. Would recommend if you're traveling through Lake County on Hwy. 20.
- Molly (8/5): - Good overall.
- Ramona (8/5): - Great
- Steven (8/5): - The best place in the area for the price
- Melissa (10/5): - The hotel is clean, rooms are nice, bathrooms are large and restaurant has a good food. The staff is very nice, good lounge, awesome outside area, a good selection of slot games, but no table games. I always stay here when I'm in Lake County.
- Katherine (10/5): Confusion - It was a great stay only thing that bothered me was accused of stealing a washcloth when my son had asked maid service for some extra wash clothes when they were in the hallway cleaning rooms he had given the wet ones to the maid for the fresh one. I guess the maid did not mark them down and was told if they didn't find them they would bill me for them. I'm assuming they found them because my card was never charged
- Bridget (8/5): People are nice there! - Parking lot and highway view. The room was suppose to be a quiet room but had water pressure sounds though out the night.
- jerry (10/5): - Great food & beverage
- Cornelia F (8/5): - Went to the area for family. Good location for reaching everything.
- Catherine (10/5): - Very nice place. Would stay again.
- Colin (8/5): Just the room. - My stay was unusual, so take that into account. I'd had a long day behind the wheel so I just stayed in the room and ate food I'd brought with me. I didn't even look at the casino or restaurant.
Check in and check out were fast and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. I thought it was loud, but then I discovered in the morning that the window had been left open before I checked in.
I wouldn't go out of my way to stay here again but it was completely fine for this stay.
- jerry (10/5): - casino/hotel with all the standard amenities
- sean (10/5): - The security was great there and felt like my kids were secure.
- larry (6/5): Robinson rancheria hotel - People were bright spot of this stay. Desk clerk came to room to fix tv (excellent). Dining hall staff super friendly and helpful. Room in need of upgrading, plumbing repairs and modern tvs.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I enjoyed my stay. The room was very clean and tidy. The bed was pretty comfy and I slept well. Parking was a breeze and there was security right in the front area of the hotel. They were polite and spoke to us as we came and left. My only issue was one of the girls that was checking in guests. She had her phone in her face or couldnāt wait to get you out the way so that she could look at and play on her phone which I felt was unprofessional.
- Angela K (8/5): - Comfortable beds, clean environment
- William (10/5): - Room was clean and nicely set up.
Hotel was very quiet.
- Reyna (8/5): - The only thing I didn't like was 3 Guests and only 6 Bathroom Towels, 2 Face, 2 Body and 2 other use, I would like to know why Bathroom Towels are limited.
Also, Body Wash, Shampoo and Conditioner big Bottle were almost enty not enough for taking a Shower.
