- Elizabeth (2/5): Not clean, extremely overpriced, but with proper maintenance this could be a lovely hotel. - Large room. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was nice but had a bad smell. Access to the verandah. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We rarely need to give a negative review, but this hotel was way overpriced. Main issue: it wasn't clean. Corridors and verandah were dusty and grimy, room just OK. (The staff kindly cleaned off the table tops and swept our section of the verandah so we could use it.) Room furnishings were a bit tired and outdated. It's on a fairly major intersection so despite overlooking a park it was quite noisy.

The bed - so comfy I didn't want to leave it. The bathroom - luxurious and so nicely styled, and the shower, so very nice. All of it was so fantastic. Highly recommend! Also, definitely go to the Food and Farm Dining downstairs! Leaving......... I wanted to stay to bad.

The room was clean and well appointed, the bed and pillows were very comfortable and we both had an excellent sleep in peaceful surroundings. Hannah was superb in keeping us up to date with everything and nothing was too much bother and her approach was very much appreciated.

The room was so extremely quiet and dark it was the best sleep I’ve had in years. Breakfast at the attached coffee shop was an exceptional bonus. Nothing. Everything was perfect!

- Mark and Sandra (10/5): Fully recommend - We went all out and stayed in the King room no.1 (top floor). TV worked well, ducted aircon was perfect. We set it at 23deg. Bed was huge and very comfortable, bathroom spotless and spacious! Very large room, clean and tidy. The massive deck outside our room overlooks the park. Nice to sit and chill out with a beer. Hannah communicated exceptionally well and even gifted us with a late checkout (11am). The cafe next door / adjoining the hotel is highly recommended! We had an awesome breakfast, and coffee was spot on! Can't fault. We are young and fit however a note to others that we stayed on 1st floor so there is only access via stairs. If you have any concerns request one of the rooms downstairs.

But because we booked through BOOKING .COM. NO REIMBURSEMENT OR REFUND. So won't be using this site again,will be booking direct through business instead.

This is the third time i have stayed at the Parkview , I keep going back so i guess that says it all. There is nothing i don't like about the Parkview.

Unfortunately due to the location of the hotel it was difficult to sleep in as the room was quite noisy even with the double glazed windows. Be prepared to carry your luggage up a narrow winding staircase.

Location was perfect within walking distance of all the things we wanted to do. The property is on a busy corner. There was very little noise in the room but during peak periods it was very noisy on the balcony.

Family owned and run business and the care that they put in shows. Very close to town and across the road from the visitor information centre. The balcony upstairs is very nice for a wine and cheese following a spin around the wineries. Location is on the junction of two main roads so traffic can be a bit noisy at peak hours if you are in your room at that time. The noise in the room isn't intrusive though. We were on the ground floor so probably the noisier than upstairs.

To stay at this beautiful hotel was on my bucket list, as it was once owned by my great aunts, Florence and Alice Lonergan and run as a guesthouse. Even though I had made a number of trips to Mudgee, I had never been inside. It was lovely to see that the old-world character had been kept in the rooms along with beautiful modern bathrooms. I stayed in room 2 and was able to go out on the old verandah with views of Robertson Park and overlooking the lovely cafe. Hannah was extremely friendly and helpful as I enquired about previous history of the building.

- Leigh (8/5): - Nice old building tastefully refurbished. Centrally located to town centre and you can leave your car and walk to pubs, clubs and restaurants. Very friendly staff and a lovely cafe operating on the premises for a tasty breakfast. It does get a bit noisy with traffic though.

- FizzyV (10/5): Stayed for a Wedding for 3 nights in this gem in Mudgee! 5 Star service from beginning to end! Can't wait to return! - What a fabulous find! We stayed along with another couple for 3 nights, both of us staying in King Suites (1 and 2 - we stayed in 1) upstairs that opened onto the large verandah overlooking Robertson Park. The decor in both suites was spot on for the building. Bathrooms were beautiful. King beds were just what was needed at the end of each very big day of events. There is a great little cafe downstairs that does a great coffee and fab breakfast. The locals frequent this cafe also, which goes to show its a goodie. We ate our breakfast each morning on the verandah upstairs in the sunshine. Parking is on site. On my initial phone call about 10 months prior was with the lovely Hannah. This woman is as wonderful over the phone as she was in person. Nothing was too much trouble. I rang Hannah quite a few times prior to our arrival and she was amazing! Genuine country hospitality and friendliness was in abundance not only from Hannah but from her parents who are really lovely as well. This was a great stay from beginning to end. What's not to love about The Parkview Hotel!!!!!! Can't wait to return!

- Tourist09713430472 (10/5): Cosy room close to city center. - We enjoyed 2 nights here and found rooms to be immaculately cleaned, friendly staff, good size TV and nice shower. Great coffee machine. Bed was also comfy. Excellent linen. Quiet too. Great A/C. Would stay again. Downstairs there is a cafe that serves great food too.

- Miia (10/5): - We had a great 2-night stay at the Parkview. The room (suite 3) was comfortable and incredibly quiet, providing a peaceful retreat away from any street noise. The bathroom was newly renovated and lovely. Though we didn’t use the kitchen, it was well-equipped for anyone who might need it. The bed was super comfy, and we really appreciated the easy late check-in process. The staff we encountered were all friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.
