Lana (6/5): Amazing local staff, property owners not so much! - The place is nice and the local team is kind, but the owners and top managers are not that much. The manager and booking not so much! We tried to negotiate and the top manager refuse to attend us.

Verified traveler (8/5): - Overall a great place to stay and very much recommended. There isn’t much accommodation choice in jebel shams but you will be very happy here - the service was great (the dining room staff are so kind) and the rooms are basic but very nice. Setting is of course beautiful and it’s just a short drive to the start of the w6 hike as well as other beautiful vistas. The only fault would be that we booked an Arabic tent and upon arrival were ‘upgraded’ to a bungalow - however it turned out that they hadn’t actually finished building the Arabic tents so not only was the website misleading but the so called upgrade was for their convenience, not to please us! Regardless the room was nice and we were very happy with our stay. Good range of food for breakfast and dinner buffets and great value for money. No WiFi which could be inconvenient for some guests but we personally enjoyed it.

David (8/5): Good launching pad for Djebel Shams - Great location, close to the Wadi Ghul viewpoints and hiking trails. Mountain-view room was roomy and comfortable. Good buffet for breakfast and dinner (included). But, the front desk staff was not really friendly, and there was no WiFi.

Suhail (8/5): Very nice location, and great value for money. - Staff were friendly but didn’t seem to be many around in the restaurant at breakfast and dinner. Situated ideally for anyone wishing to trek in jebel Shams. The tents understandably get cold at night, but a convection heater is provided for your convenience. Rooms were clean and comfortable, the lighting could have been a bit better as it seemed quite dark inside. The reception had no record of our booking or payment, but we’re very good at sorting this out and didn’t delay our check in.

Blenny (4/5): A step above camping - Granted, the hotel was quiet, and we did have a nice hot shower. A well-rounded (but never delicious) buffet was included for breakfast and dinner. We were pleased at what an easy drive it was to the “balcony walk” along the grand canyon, Wadi Ghul. However, despite its proximity to the canyon, there are no beautiful views from the hotel. We paused on the harrowing drive up at least a dozen times to see sensational views, so we were disappointed at the hotel location and its forlorn surroundings. Secondly, there was nothing to do at the hotel. The tiny pool, which had a puddle of green slime at the bottom, would have been disappointing even if it were sparkling blue and full.
Tomasz (10/5): amazing place - Best location if go for trek W4. Very good prices. Although small, tents are very comfortable and well designed, with very nice camp fire place. It can be a bit hard to sleep if you have noisy neighbors. Good food and very nice facility. Atmosphere there is outstanding and you will feel extremely relaxed.
