Not too far by car from Jounieh, reasonable walking distance to nearby places to eat. The Hotel staff were so accomodating, ensuring our two rooms were right next door to each other. Ocean views from the hotel is amazing. Great facilities, including a really nice pool and pool bar. Staff were also so helpful! Would really recommend to anyone wanting to stay close to Jounieh.

- Sarah (3/5): - I stayed at Burj on Bay in August 2025 and booked a standard room. While the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful — from the front desk to the janitor — unfortunately, that was one of the only highlights of my stay. The views from the room were nice, which initially gave a good impression. However, it quickly became clear that the overall standard of cleanliness was mediocre at best. The room, balcony, and shared amenities all felt like they needed much more attention. It’s worth noting that the janitor was doing his best — the hotel seemed severely understaffed for its size, which likely contributed to the issues. Also, we found the room to be small for a 10 day stay. We were disappointed to see that the hotel was VERY different from the pictures we had seen while booking.... One of the most unpleasant parts of my stay was the persistent sewer smell that haunted the room every time the toilet was flushed. It made the environment feel unhygienic and uncomfortable. Despite marketing itself as a 5-star property, this hotel barely reaches a 3-star level. Basic essentials were missing — no toiletries were provided, and the air conditioning system weakened significantly after the first few days, making the room uncomfortable. In short, I did not enjoy my experience and would not return or recommend this hotel to others. The staff do their best with what they have, but the management clearly needs to reassess both their operations and their branding. That said, the hotel does have a lot of potential — the location, sea views, and overall layout are great, but it’s clear that it desperately needs better management to live up to what it could be.

Nevertheless the hotel charged us for the booking twice and it has been over a week and the money is not reversed. Very bad on cleaning services. Towels in the rooms were not clean. Extremely bad experience. Very expensive compared to service.

- Jérôme (3/5): Un fiasco (presque) complet - Il y a un monde entre le site de l'hôtel et la réalité. En résumé, on nous vend du rêve mais la réalité est rude. Le restaurant "phare" Byblos était équipé en salle de petit déjeuner les 3 soirs où nous étions à l'hôtel avec une ambiance glacée. Rien à voir avec le site. Le roof top n'ouvre qu'à 18h et le bar de la piscine ne sert, la journée, que de la bière, pas de vins ni d'apéritifs. Les bouteilles exposées sont de la décoration... !!! Comme ambiance festive, on fait mieux ! Enfin, les équipements de l'hôtel et de la chambre ne correspondent en rien à une classification 5 étoiles. En un mot : Arnaque !!! Voir ci-dessus, il est facile d'en déduire ce qu'il faut améliorer pour prétendre à 5 étoiles ! Il faut cependant relever que le service et la qualité de ce que nous avons obtenu sur le roof top, pendant ses heures d'ouverture, étaient à la hauteur de nos attentes.

- Mohammad (4/5): Disappointing - The only thing was the great value was the view of balcony. Disappointed and Shocked. We stayed at Burj on Bay for a week, and it was a major letdown. This was our second stay—the first was in 2018 when the hotel was clean, well-managed, and worth the price. Sadly, that’s no longer the case. The room was not clean. The bathroom was filthy, towels didn’t look or feel clean, and the coffee maker had a tank that was clearly never washed. Housekeeping was either poorly trained or nonexistent—there was no attention to detail.We requested an iron, and what we got was dangerous: the power cord was shredded in multiple places with exposed wires. That could’ve easily led to electrocution. Totally unacceptable and unsafe. Given the state of the place, it’s massively overpriced. The quality and management have gone downhill fast since our last visit. This hotel is no longer what it used to be, and we will not be returning.

The Room was spacious, elegantly decorated, and the amenities provided were top-notch. the staff were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure my stay was perfect. The hotel's facilities, including the Nest restaurant, were impressive and added to the overall experience. Whether you're in Tabarja for business or leisure, Burj on Bay is a fantastic choice.
