• Chris (10/5): - The breakfast (extra payment) was a choice between a traditional Japanese meal, a salad, and a western style meal. I stayed two nights and tried the salad one morning and traditional the next - both were excellent. The single room was small, but not claustrophobic, and super cute! The 4th floor was like a spa with an exercise room, gathering space, men and women’s big bath, also saunas. The concierge gave great recommendations for dinners both nights. We highly recommend this place!

• Ian (8/5): Good Hotel, but they need to significantly change the air conditioning system for individual control - The Japanese option breakfast was fabulous. Our room was larger than seems normal in Japanese Hotels. Could not control the temperature in the room. The window could not be opened, nor was there any thermostat in the room to vary the air conditioning / heating. The only bedding provided was a heavy weight doona, far too hot given the room temperature. We ended up removing it from the cover and sleeping just under that, which meant we were too cold.

• MAKOTO (8/5): トイレとシャワーが別のゆったりスペース！ - シングルの部屋が全体にゆったりしている。特にトイレとシャワーが別なのが良く、広く清潔で快適。クローゼットスペースも広くて使いやすい。 これは良いと思うが、普段利用するホテルはアメニティが洗面台の上にあることから、洗面台の下に置いてあったのに気づかなかった。

• Veronica (9/5): - Spacious room and located at the centre of the city. They serve the unexpected delicious western style breakfast even better than those metropolitian cafe. It is the best western breakfast served in a Japanese style hotel I ever tasted. Even their staff is not good at English communication, they do try their best to help and support your query. I left my pocket at their lobby and they did save it for my return to pick up. Thanks very much. This hotel derserve high rating at the booking.com Street car parking leaves me a bit uncomfortable and the onsen is too small.

• Leah (9/5): Superb - Location was a short walking distance from Tokushima station, where you can catch the train, bus or taxi. If you are planning to do some sightseeing or traveling to neighboring cities then this area is where you want to be situated in. Plenty of shops, restaurants, konbinis and places to stroll to. The twin room was spacious and bigger than you would expect to find in Osaka or Tokyo. Breakfast was also very generous. It was a lovely stay overall.

• myxz (8/5): Convenient location - good sized Japanese Tatami Room - It was our very first time in Shikoku area of Japan - the hotel is frankly a bit dated but we appreciated the hospitality and the great selection of breakfast (both western and Japanese style were available). I think we went during the off season so there seemed to be only few hotel guests staying - at least having breakfast when we were at the breakfast room. The "Wa -fuu" Japanese style Tatami room (10 tatamis) on the 10th? floor was nice and roomy which we enjoyed. Though the bathroom is TINY - felt like you were in a tiny boat or airplane. Free wifi worked fine. Good amenities - including free bottled water. Tea. mini-fridge. They also provide you with free local cellphone in the room so you could bring it with you for local phone calls or do some simple wifi search/gps usage being a tourist. For people visiting from out of the country without a good global cell plan- this is a great amenity to have.
• Corihi (4/5): Weird room layout - We had a corner room on the 11th floor (room 1118), and it was very cramped with a strange layout. Upon opening the door, we faced a wall (instead of a hallway as in most hotels). The small closet was to the right and a long, narrow hallway was to the left. After walking down the hallway, two beds were to the right, and the bathroom was beyond the beds. There was a small table and two chairs in front of the beds, and if anyone was sitting there, there wasn't enough space to walk past to get to the bathroom. To access the bathroom, we had to open two more doors (a hallway door and the bathroom door). The bathroom was a step-up bathroom which reminded us of cruise ships. Our room was cold, but there were no individual climate controls. Other people in our tour group said their rooms were hot. It was okay for a one-night stay, but I wouldn't want to stay any longer. The room was dated, but clean. Toiletries, kimono, slippers, teapot and tea were provided.
