Guest Reviews
- Jannah (9/5): -
- Alan (2/5): - Location Stuffy and stale odour.
No bath towels provided
No communication from owners
- Adele (9/5): -
- Bernadette (10/5): Wonderful stay in Coles Bay - Fantastic property. The photos do not do it or the views justice.
We had everything we needed. Great location for the National Park. Nothing to dislike.
- David (10/5): Lovely accommodation in stunning location - Very clean property and great quiet location yet close to everything. Beautiful views of Freycinet mountains. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge. Nothing to dislike
- Anne (8/5): Absolutely stunning view and excellent location. - Absolutely stunning view and excellent location. Kitchen was sparse and could be more stocked with quality kitchen items. Only had two bath towels for a booking of 4 people. Entry instructions not sent, had to chase this.
- Alison (10/5): -
- neville (10/5): Amazing place... great location... would have loved to stayed longer... easily accoommates 4 even though there was just - Everything Nothing
- julie (8/5): - The location and view were fabulous. Having a washing machine was good. Furniture was dusty. An iron and clothes drying rack would have been helpful.
- David (7/5): Mostly comfortable with great views - Views were spectacular, facilities were quite good, location was excellent. Furniture was very substandard considering the considerable price. I have never slept in a double bed since I was a teenager and at $550 per night, a double bed was just unacceptable, and it was very uncomfortable.
- Davey (9/5): - Lovely views and a very short walk to a beautiful beach. No wifi. I think due to the area.
- Steven (7/5): - View was good Curtains half falling down
- Pam (9/5): - Beautiful apartment and absolutely wonderful position with amazing views Barbeque was dirty and couldn't be used
TV was programmed to channels that we did not enjoy and was locked so that we were not able to program ourselves
Bath towels were provided but only one hand towel for the 2 of us for 4 days
- William (10/5): Comfortable accommodation in an excellent location. - The house was very comfortable with plenty of space. The large windows enabled us to enjoy the beautiful view from the lounge/dining area and there was a generous verandah to use on warm days. The house and amenties were spotlessly clean and the king-sized bed was really comfortable. We loved the location of the house as it was very convenient to Freycinet NP, Wineglass Bay lookout and Tourville lookout and lighthouse. We will definitely stay here next time we are visiting Coles Bay. Everything was great.
- Heinz Locher (10/5): -
- Trish (7/5): Outstanding View - Location was close to cafes, beach, national park and tour company. The view was amazing and the apartment in a quiet area. When we arrived there was a most unpleasant smell so much so that we went and bought a can of deodorizer. The lounge seating was worn and dated and there could have been a few more cooking utensils.
- Kat (10/5): - Thank you so much, this was a gem of a stay. So close to everything, the beach, the shops, and the super hiking. Home away from home for the night. Much appreciated.
- Glenda (9/5): Relaxing and very comfortable. Enjoyed view. - The stunning view from within the house
Comfortable bed and roomy shower area. Attention to cleaning around external doorways. Front and back. Key was not where promised it was. Luckily we found it as otherwise stuck outside.
- Janelle (8/5): - The view is stunning and beds comfortable and very clean A bit of dust laying around which I expected considering it is ‘off peak season’
And a couple of other minor cleanliness things.
- Enrico (8/5): Great location close to the National Park - good base yo explore then trails - Great location and amazing view. The space was generous and large rooms, perfect for 4 people. We loved the ability to walk to the beach and ride to the national park. The only negative aspect was the content of the apartment, it was a bit minimal and impersonal. Few more glasses and utensils would help. Furniture was a bit dated. Proper equipment for the oven (trays, baking paper) and a clean, non-electric bbq would have helped too.
- Douglas (9/5): - The view from the unit was outstanding.
The accomodation was spacious and very comfortable
- Patrick (8/5): -
- Parker (4/5): -
- Leanne (6/5): - View and location were amazing BBQ was so dirty it was unusable. Coffee machine with no pods. Dishwasher with no dishwasher tablets. Could have used more basics in the kitchen. No welcome communication leading up to stay. Check in information sent back at time of booking.
- Ruth (9/5): Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in great accomodation in an awesome part of the world. -
- Rita (9/5): -
- simonandjanet (5/5): Great view, dull but spacious property and dreadful administration - Proximity to Freycinet. Lovely view Property had not been serviced when we arrived. It took 2 hours to fix.
Administration was poor
Property was really rather dull
- David (8/5): Very close to Fraychinet National Park. - The accomodation was roomy and had everything you need. the facilities were very good, comfortable bed, fully equiped kitchen, laundry in the bathroom, lovely view, outside seating on a verandah - excellent position for exploring Freychinet National Park. Nothing
- Kate (7/5): Happy with Accom . Would stay again but would prefer to have WIFI - The view, the space , the location , lovely new large bathroom, washing machine No WiFi available at all, dated interior. A dryer would have been terrific
- Andrew (9/5): Enjoyable stay on Coles Bay in comfortable, well appointed apartment. - Wonderful views over the harbour, quite location and spacious, well-appointed amenities Add wifi to the property.
- Gabrielle (10/5): -
- Jane (10/5): -
- Megan (10/5): - Beautiful location with gorgeous views of the Hazards from the loungeroom and balcony. Comfortable beds and everything you needed for cooking, washing and cleaning. So close to the beach and walks/hikes. Nothing
- Anthony (8/5): Enjoyed our stay. - The view was very good, could hear the waves Not enough cooking utensils.
- Janine (8/5): - Loved the bay view, great kitchen, laundry and location to beach.
Although the unit was clean, the carpet shampoo was very strong. A clothes airer would be handy to get a small washing load dry.
Great place to stay
- Robert (9/5): Relaxing weekend - Great location and views
- Kathleen (10/5): The apartment is a great size, the bed is very comfortable in the master. - The view is spectacular and the location close to the National Park is perfect There was nothing wrong with the property
- Manli (9/5): -
- Judy (10/5): -
- Melissa (8/5): - Spacious. Amazing view to the Hazards
- Patricia (8/5): Beautiful serene location fronting the Hazards - The rooms were huge, and the soundproofing was excellent. We were fortunate to capture the Aurora Australis on our stay, not with the naked eye but through the camera . The location is excellent, a short drive to the main drag, it fronts the waters and you can hear the sounds of the waves. A very serene location. Yiu will need your mobile data if you need to be connected as there is no WiFi.. There's coffee sachets, tea bags, and packet sugar. In the fridge there was one small carton of milk.. We were there for 2 nights only and that was okay but for longer stay guests that may be light. I would have liked complimentary bottles of water. There is an IGA in town where guests can stock up.
- Joel (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing views from the lounge room. Plenty of space and comfortable lounge chairs. Huge bathroom with walk in shower and washing machine. Very warm and cosy. Very convenient..just a few minutes drive to our boat cruise and facilities. Had a great burger at Geographe. Would of liked a full length mirror. Everything was great
- Mike (6/5): Great views, however… - Coles Bay. An excellent place to visit due to its natural beauty, particularly off-season when there are no crowds. However the host of this accommodation, whilst quick to respond to a query regarding access to the house…was very tardy to the point of completely ignoring a follow-up email when I asked for a third towel and some extra soap for our three night stay as we were three friends travelling together. Surely, soap and the laundering of an extra towel is not so difficult, nor expensive to provide which would match the beds available in the accommodation?
- Kate (7/5): We chose this location for the view, and we were not disappointed when we saw the Aurora one night! - Fantastic view. Spacious unit with comfortable beds. Basic kitchen set up with tea and coffee provided. Appreciated being able to use the washing machine. No wifi.
- Rita (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (7/5): Good - View, room size, kitchen and utilities. No internet, lounge seating uncomfortable, small extras like paper towel, bread knife, glad wrap, tissues to name a few.
- Rosslyn (9/5): Very comfortable, great view! - Location was great & good facilities
- Bailey (9/5): Plenty of room and good location - Good location
- Heather (10/5): Great place to stay, exceptional views close to beach and national park. Well equipped home. - Beautiful outlook with exceptional views. Well equipped house, protected verandah, short walk to beach. Great base for national park walks.
- Heather (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aleisha (8/5): Very good - Stunning views of the mountains and Richardsons beach. Easy access path down to Richardsons beach and/or along raised walkway through national park to tourist office. Or in the other direction along path and road to coffee shop and general store. Kitchen needs more facilities/utensils to be fully functional. Table really small for a family meal.
- Marion (9/5): Great location, will recommend to any friends and family visiting Freycinet. -
- Lynette (4/5): Disappointing - Cobwebs and mozzies everywhere. Dead mozzie so they know it's an issue but no spray. Musty smell.
Location description was deceptive as the short cuts to shops and restaurants were not there. Frying pans very average and dishwasher was not working.
- Ho (8/5): Not perfect, still acceptable. - Convenient to access and close to shop and restaurant. Kitchen facilities are very good. Not clean enough and with spider web. Room lighting is insufficient and the lighting at the corridor is out of order. The power socket at the high level at the wall which is no good for plugging the charger.
There is no air conditioner at the bedroom, so it is no good during hot summer
- Natalie (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful apartment, great location and view
- Carol (9/5): Superb - Great views and accommodation Toilet seat needs repair
- Fiona (7/5): stunning location - limited coffee, tea and condiments generally found in other locations and some difficulty in getting check in details but having said that we had limited telephone reception and i am sure they sent but i did not receive
- Jane (7/5): Good - spacious, close to beach, lovely views Cleaning could have been better- fridge, griller and BBQ not clean on arrival
Lounge aged and not overly comfortable
- Jamie (9/5): Superb - The view No Wi-Fi
- Peter (9/5): Great place to stay in Coles Bay - Comfortable modern apartment with excellent view and two generously sized bedrooms
Good access to beach and National Park Broken light fitting in hallway
- Phil (8/5): Very spacious apartment with a great view in a lovely location. -
- Sean (8/5): Very good -
- Tina (4/5): Beautiful view, but very noisy due to private residence above. - The location. Beds were comfortable. The noise from the private residence above was ridiculous and not relaxing at all...even after 10pm. Not able to check in until 3pm. Sofa and chairs were uncomfortable. No TV in bedroom. Coffee mugs were too small. No internet. No light in passage, was an exposed base only. For the price it was too much with what was supplied and how it was presented inside and the upstairs noise was disruptive.
- Riasat (10/5): Excellent for family holidays! - Spectacular views !! large bedrooms & lounge rooms!
- Leanne (9/5): Would love to come back. - Stunning view Size of the tv.
- Rod (8/5): Great location, comfortable, roomy but not perfect... - Large, comfortable accommodation in a great location with terrific views. lack of local knowledge provided. Great access laneway virtually opposite accommodation but took 2 days to stumble on it, it allowed easy access to beach, national Park and local shops. No wifi was unfortunate in this day and age and given the cost. No hair-dryer upset the wife.
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- S (5/5): Comfortable and relaxed stay - Good location and parking.
Spacious with good bathroom and laundry facilities.
Comfortable bed which is always a winner. Poor level of general maintenance. Hall light fitting broken and lamp missing. Isolation switch for Hob/Oven broken and probably unsafe. Multiple scuff marks on painted walls needing minor attention. Lock on door to smalll rear deck jammed.
Rust showing through paintwork on window reveal above shower. All relatively minor but showing lack of attention.
3pm check requirement was later than usual, 2pm would have been better.
- Edward (10/5): Very nice apartment in a beautiful place - Lovely apartment very high standards Wi-fi would help
- Carolyn (8/5): Very good - Location Seemed unfinished with lights but no shades. Very little in the way of provisions
- Tina (8/5): Very good -
- Monica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Himanshu (4/5): Disappointing -
- Jonathan (9/5): Superb - The property was extremely well situated. It would benefit from sturdier dining chairs and some pictures to make it feel a little less bare.
- Anonymous (6/5): Spectacular views but basic accommodation - The view is incredible and in a great spot. Very basic amenities and furniture. A lot of the Furniture needs to be replaced for example dining chair was not usable.
- Kathryn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Evelyn (6/5): The location is this property’s attraction. - The position is excellent. Easy walk to the village for food shopping. Short drive to Freycinet National Park. The old scruffy furniture in the loungeroom. The place didn’t smell fresh and clean. It was mean not to have at least a 1/4 cup of laundry powder.
- Anne (6/5): Accommodation was very disappointing for the price. Location was great - The location and view were fantastic I was under the impression that I had booked a 2 bedroom apartment and on arrival we found a notice on the bed in the second room that we would be charged an extra $40 if we used both rooms. The dining room table and chairs were and unstable and broken. The lounge room furniture were worn and tattered and very uncomfortable
- Greg (7/5): Great view. Not great table and chairs. - Lighting not working 100 percent.. table not 100 percent, neither 2 of the chairs.
- Jacklyn (8/5): Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beaulieu apart from the problems noted above. We would book again if the above things wer - Location, size of the apartment and comfortable. The BBQ was filthy and when we decided to clean it, we turned it on and it tripped the electrical meter so there couldn’t use BBQ. The dining table was very wonky and 2 of the chair backs were broken. The hall light could not be turned off.
- Matilda (8/5): Very good - The location was amazing
- Murray (10/5): Exceptional - The light in the hallway that you can't turn off. You have to shut the bedroom door because it shines right in and you can't sleep. This means that aircon can't flow throught to the bedroom. Not good in winter when it's cold
- Joanne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (9/5): Very enjoyable & would stay again. - The location & view. Quiet & handy. Censor light in the hallway was very annoying staying on all night. Could not find a switch to turn it off. Had a mind of its own when on & off then staying on all night when trying to sleep!
- Angela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karen (8/5): Great location, amazing walks around the national park, to the cafe and the jetty area. - Great location. Easy to walk everywhere from the apartment also close to the National Park. Warm, very clean. and spacious. No internet, bring your own food etc as there is only a small convenience store to buy food if you want to cook. Light in hallway didn't turn off. TV didn't work on arrival but handyman came & fixed.....thank you
They need to put information in the apartment to say where the pathway down to the beach is. It's hard to find unless you know.
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Nicky (7/5): Great view - Dining chairs that weren’t broken. Other air bnb have provided basic pantry and toiletries items. This makes a huge difference especially when there’s limited local shops
- Laurie (7/5): Good - amazing views and good location, heaps of space in the apartment bed was not comfortable and the couch cushions slid around. this is only the downstairs section of a house and access to the top balcony is blocked. hallway light stays on permanently which is annoying at night
- Wayne (4/5): Disappointing - We can't comment on this property as when we arrived the room had not been cleaned and we hadn't been notified. the owner/operator sent us to an alternate location which met all our expectations, so whilst not complaining I can't comment on this property.
- Rhonda (10/5): Exceptional - The amazing view.perfect location near walk to beach, shops and close to wineglass bay cruise. Nothing
- Sue (8/5): Very relaxing - Breakfast was not included Missing towels for twin room.
Extra blanket for queen room
- Mark (4/5): - We didnt feel welcomed at this property. There was perfunctory communication, notices on the fridge and dishwasher informing us of no internet and broken dishwasher. Minimal furniture, messy wiring for tv etc, and a hallway light we couldn't turn off.
Upon departure at 9.30 (checkout time 10am), the cleaner was waiting to get in. We felt rushed and uncomfortable.
- Chris (7/5): Views and location didn’t disappoint but it was almost like here’s the view now your on your own to work the place out. - Views sensor light in hallway stayed on all night, not well equipped, no clothes dryer, dishwasher didn’t work, no instructions for aircon, no facility or location guide / tips (except for hand sanitising)
- Annie (8/5): Very good -
- Kendal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rachel (10/5): Magical views, spacious, modern, clean, loved it! - Love the view….it is magic, very large rooms, loads of space for a family. Would highly recommend.
- Joseph (7/5): Good - Open space The front door key very hard opening the lock .
Easy fix .Graphite.
Lack of decor.no pictures, mirrors etc.
- Murray (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jess (10/5): - The view, the beautiful home and how lovely and clean it was.
All the comforts of home.
