Sarah (7/5): Aesthetic hotel but would prob stay elsewhere if we return to Slovenia in the future. - The location was excellent for exploring lake Bohinj and had many places to eat within walking distance Breakfast provided was great with lots of options Paid extra for a balcony room and was given one, but it was in the basement facing the parking lot. Shower had no door so a large part outside of the shower gets wet as a result. They provide felt slippers to be more eco friendly but the slippers have no grip and we ended up not using them. The wellness facility needs to be booked in advance and can’t take walk ins. Dinner at the restaurant also requires reservations without which they are unable to accommodate. Works great for people who have v structured holidays but in our case where our itinerary is more fluid, it felt restrictive considering how much we paid a night for the hotel.
Eva (10/5): Beautiful eco-friendly hotel by stunning Lake Bohinj - We had a lovely stay at Hotel Bohinj. The hotel is beautiful, modern, and thoughtfully designed with a strong eco-conscious approach that blends perfectly with the surrounding nature. We stayed in a spacious Comfort room on the ground floor with a small garden terrace opening onto a grassy area. It was incredibly relaxing, especially waking up in the morning with views of greenery and mountains in the background. Breakfast was excellent - a wide breakfast selection with options for everyone, including those with dietary restrictions or special preferences. We also enjoyed afternoon drinks at the café, with comfortable outdoor seating overlooking the lake. Lake Bohinj is absolutely stunning - perfect for peaceful walks as well as more active hikes in the surrounding area. Overall, a very peaceful and refreshing stay, we would definitely come back. -

Room and view was beautiful and staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely too. Liked the outside space to sit and relax in too. Dinner menu was quite disappointing, there was a lot of red meat on the menu and it was quite pricey, however the food was very good. Pillows were quite uncomfortable in the room.

Rene (9/5): Beautiful mountain and lake area hotel with spa and relaxation. - This is a trendy, well designed hotel set in a beautiful natural environment walking distance from lake Bohinj. The decoration is beautiful throughout and the rooms are of adequate size and comfortable. Free parking, daily access to the spa facilities (somewhat basic ones) included in the price is a big plus. Breakfast is adequate and service is impeccable and friendly overall. A couple areas of improvement: 1. The breakfast timeline is a bit short and food options seem to differ between weekends and weekdays (for example, made-to-order eggs, were absent on weekdays). They need to increase availability of gluten-free, dairy free options (I had to carry my own because all they had was some tasteless bread). 2. The bed was not as comfortable as expected, and although they had a "pillow menu" none of the options seemed to work very well for me. I ended up using the decorative pillows for sleeping as they were the most comfortable of all. 3. The shower stalls in the bathrooms have this short glass wall instead of a door, so the bathroom gets all wet when you shower (I guess this is a trend, but not a good one to follow). Other than that, this is a wonderful place to stay for a couple.
Milica (10/5): We will certainly come back to enjoy this wonderful hotel again, and we hope our suggestion will be taken into considera - The location is perfect, the nature is beautiful, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is excellent, and the spa is clean and relaxing. The only complaint for a hotel of this level of luxury is that during our three-night stay, the towels, bathrobes, and bed linen were not changed. We have also stayed in hotels where the entire room and bathroom were thoroughly cleaned every day.

Nadine (9/5): Ein komfortables Hotel mit perfekter Lage. - Das Hotel hat eine ausgezeichnete Lage mit unmittelbarem Erreichen des Sees. Die Hotelausstattung ist sehr hochwertig und hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir vermissen einen Fitnessraum. Außerdem ist der SPA-Bereich sehr übersichtlich und bietet nicht sehr viele Möglichkeiten.

Amanda (10/5): - The room was everything I expected for and beyond - beautiful view of the mountains and lake, well decorated and comfortable. Only downside was how warm it was inside it - we ended up sleeping with open windows to it'd freshen up. We loved the spa and everything in the facility. Their restaurant was slightly overpriced for what we got, but we still enjoyed our meal there. Nothing else to add :)

Matea (10/5): - Predivan hotel sa jako ljubaznim osobljem. Hrana za dorucak izvrsna i raznolika. U Spa bazenu radila je samo jedna mlaznica od nekoliko. Svakako trebaju poraditi na odrzavanju mlaznica.

Marek Vidiecan (10/5): Wonderful stay by Lake Bohinj with great food, attentive staff, and a relaxing atmosphere - Great location, the breakfasts were perfect, excellent cuisine and a fantastic sommelier. The staff were attentive, kind and patient (we were traveling with two small children). The hotel is not entirely family-oriented (there were no playgrounds and the wellness area was for adults only), however, from our perspective, nothing was missing for our children – quite the opposite. They enjoyed playing outside on the grass and by the beautiful mountain stream flowing near the hotel. We traveled with children aged 1 and 4. The hotel truly charmed us, as did the location by Lake Bohinj. I am 100% convinced that we will return to this place with our family again. Nothing :-)

Samuel (9/5): Amazing; with small improvements perfect! - From the check-in to the room, the impeccable breakfast or even the wonderful staff, the experience was amazing. The hotel has a great vibe, in general is very architecturally pleasing and interesting The spa has great potential, however the whirlpool was just cold. 30C for a whirlpool located outside just is not enough. Also, the sauna... once again... perfectly designed, very spacious and smells clean and new, but cold. A finnish sauna cannot be heated to 50C and be called a sauna. If these things are improved the hotel will be perfect.

All staff were friendly and helpful particular Simon on reception who was extra helpful and recommended for us to eat in Villa Muhr which was one of the best dining experiences with ever had

Adi (9/5): - The hotel is located in a walking distance from the lake and from beautiful paths. The breakfast is amazing. And the restaurant food is very tasty. They really thought about every detail, and that creates a great & relaxing atmosphere. The Sauna had a problem and didn’t reach the full heat. The sitting area in the wellness is not so comfortable.
