Guest Reviews
- marie christine (10/5): Une belle adresse ,je recomande - L'emplacement ,juste a côté de la cinquième avenue (piétonne et commercante) ,le parking ,la piscine
Tout était bien J'ai tout aimé
- Aneta (8/5): Hidden gem - but needs some work to be done - Very comfortable hut in the jungle. Perfectly clean. Great location, 10 min to Akumal, although the Road is a bit adventurous, but we made it even with a small car. Pool is amazing. It needs some details to be fixed, like door opening, toilet paper holder, fan,... The water pres sure is very low, so the shower is symbolic. Details make the impression. All the place, other huts, looks neglected.
- Gisela (5/5): Passable - Location Whole place in need of an update, very tired.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Loots of improvements needed!! - Check in was good. My room had two leaks and it was raining most days; one of the leaks dripped onto one of the beds. Ants were present; no left overs or snacks could be in the room due to this. Pool was open but not enough lights around it. Menu available was very limited. WiFi was very good throughout the place. No AC in rooms and the fan we had was too noisy to have it on at night. No beach access or beach nearby!! Hotel has no info or contacts for local taxis or airport shuttles. No mini fridge, we were not told we could have items in the hotel’s main fridge either. Mosquitoes were in the room every night, no bed nets available, seems staff leave doors open while doing room cleaning and plenty of mosquitoes get in.
- Elias (7/5): HAD TO STAY THERE, BECAUSE THE ORIGINAL RESERVATION WAS A SCAM. BOOKING SENT US THERE - Very comfortable beds, tranquil swimming pool Almost imposible to find. Very deep in the middle of nowhere after 8 kms of bumpy and inundated gravel roads.
Breakfast was very simple, toast, weak coffe, boxed orange juice and jam.
They discriminated, since foreigners got nice little jam tars, while for mexicans it was in plastic industrial little plastic boxes.
- Shintaro (10/5): - It was an excellent stay.
Hotel’s manager even provided our transportation. It was very helpful for us.
- Ruth (5/5): Building Works during our stay - Jungle Location When we arrived there was a team of construction workers on site. They were using chainsaws, electric sanders, and other loud power tools. There were no apologies or explanations from the owners. It was not possible to use the pool area, or sit outside whilst they were they, and they did not leave until 17:30 at night. I was really not happy about this, and the following day had to ask the owners to stop the work when we arrived home. I think we should have been made aware of the works, and offered a reduced rate, or the chance to rebook elsewhere. looks like the works will continue for a while, as they seem to be replacing roofs on the rooms, so I would ask before you book.
- Efren (9/5): Great getaway! - Location, cleanliness, guest service and attention to details. it is located in the middle of the jungle, so you must be ready for the mosquitos. beach is located within 10 minutes distance by car it is called Xcacel - Xcacelito and they close the beach at 4PM. bring food and drinks due they do not have it there. It was a wonderful stay and I recommend this place. So many Mosquitos but hey we were in the middle of the Jungle so there is no problem.
- MendozaFamily (6/5): - The property wast sitting in the middle of the jungle and if you like to spend time in the nature away from city this is the perfect place. GPS location needs to be updated. We got lost in the dark many times trying to find the property and when getting back. The room was really new but, it wasn't clean. There were dead bugs behind doors and even after the room was cleaned by staff. For the price you expect to get at least hand soap for the restroom or shampoo.
- Karl (10/5): Awesome and quiet - I loved it. Leave 10 minutes past Chemuyil, and arrive in daylight because it is IN the jungle. Less intimidating to reach on second and third trips in but a bear the first time. Hotels dot com pin was incorrect,.it was a good first step but you need to go way past it into the jungle then take a left and follow signs. It is posted but still challenging to find. Worth it though: as shown and clean, good pool and mostly top level for getaway. Awesome escape for the price.
- Jacqueline (6/5): Nice but very isolated hotel - The hotel facilities are lovely and the staff was friendly. However, this hotel is in the middle of the jungle with no other hotels or businesses close by. The map shows it to be close to the main highway but it is a 30 minute walk to Chemuyil and a 50 minute walk to the beach. Without a car, I felt very isolated. There were not many other guests when I was there which was even more isolating. The receptionist was rarely in the lobby, or even on site. When I arrived, the receptionist was not there and the cook showed me my room, but didn’t mention that the water was off - due to repairs. The next morning the doors to the lobby and dining room were still locked at 7:50 am. When I asked about hot water for my shower, they said they would turn it on. When I asked for coffee, I was served yesterday’s coffee heated up in the microwave. Not a good start!
