Guest Reviews
- Flower (10/5): Perfect apartment - Cosy little apartments, perfect for a stay has everything you need A little bit warm within the apartments. Would benefit from AC or fans
- Jonathan (8/5): - Location It was very small
- Aina (7/5): My guests enjoyed the comfortable beds, great heating, and the nice bathroom. Although the stay started with a long list - The proximity to my home makes this an incredibly convenient spot for accommodating guests. The stay was okay overall, but there was a major lapse in service: the room was not cleaned at the time of check-in. While the staff eventually sorted it out, it was an inconvenient start to the trip.
- benoit (9/5): -
- Pedro (9/5): Mejor de lo esperado. - Ubicación tranquila.
Proximidad del transporte público. Espacio de armario limitado.
- Roger (5/5): Acceptable for our requirements but we would not have wished to stay for more than one night. - No breakfast available
Location just right for us. Couldn't open windows (Extremely hot)
Limited space
- Sami Shams (1/5): Stay away from this place and book another one. Aweful property owner - Nothing. The place hasn’t been clean for our arrival and everything starting from the bed was used by the previous guest. The towels were on the rest room floor and shower. The bed was messy. The sofa bed was messy as well. As I said, the place hasn’t been clean for our arrival and everything starting from the bed was used by the previous guest. The towels were on the rest room floor and shower. The bed was messy. The sofa bed was messy as well. It was difficult to enter, links provided by the property weren’t working. Property didn’t provide alternative accommodation to us.
- Darren (9/5): Cosy apartment with nice lighting - Had a slight issue on check in but customer service were very professional and accommodating. Very friendly staff, who were attentive and available. We will be back. Lack of amenities in the local area. It would be nice to have a small covered outdoor space to shelter from the rain.
- Dylan (9/5): -
- Neil (8/5): Cheap and cheerful. Great communication and instructions. Easy to find and perfect for a short stay. - Location was good for the people we were visiting. Basic accommodation but good value. Parking was OK on the street and area was good. Very little noise at night. Most things you would need for a longer stay were available. Only there one night but toiletries and tea/coffee nice touch. Travelling to Stanstead with friends that live in Cambridge - Early Morning Flight. Bed was a little uncomfortable, but expected. You don't put an expensive mattress in a rental! Shower was OK but not fantastic. Stairs quite steep and narrow but fine. Wi-Fi bandwidth was weak - Not sure where the hub was in the building.
- Inaki (8/5): - It was described to receive the keys from a lockbox with a provided PIN code but the box was empty. We had to speak to another guest to get the number of the host so they would come give us the key.
- Weston (5/5): Suitable for one night, close to Addenbrooke's hospital - It was well heated, with constant hot water. The bed was comfortable Limited amount of crockery ( only 1 bowl, 2 mugs) some of which wasn't clean. We could hear noise from the other apartments ( walking overhead, washing machine, items dropped in the night). Lack of signage on side gate it wasn't until we got through the gate that it was clear we were at the right property. Requirement for a £100 damage deposit when furniture was already marked/ damaged.
- Hayley (10/5): -
- Anne (10/5): Excellent accommodation and handy for Cambridge city - Absolutely beautiful accommodation, lovely quiet area, really comfortable bed, incredibly well set up and the biscuits on the tea tray were delicious There is nothing not to like about this property
- František (9/5): -
- Vogan (8/5): Battle of Britain Duxford stop over - no contact with host required, good instructions as to access, clean modern functional. Only one shower towel. Riser bracket for shower head broken. Waste Bin had not been emptied.
- Anne (6/5): - Convenient location. Very helpful and responsive owner. Difficult to find in the dark!
- Anne (6/5): It was fine once we got into the property. We couldn’t find it in the dark! - Convenient location. Very responsive, helpful host Just a bit small for 4 of us requiring separate spaces
- ariane (7/5): Petit appartement à proximité de cambridge - L'emplacement
Le prix
La réactivité de l'hôte Appartement non nettoyé au moment de le récupérer
Et trop petit pour 4
Pas super propre
- Culling (9/5): - We have stayed twice in Fennec Close and on both occasions Muhammad has been very helpful.
- claire (5/5): Needs a better cleaner - Location was quiet, easy to find Kitchen was dirty, no toilet roll left, people before left washing up in oven and dish washer, bad smell in kitchen, keys were not left where they said. They did offer someone to come and clean but we was in there and trying to get ready to go out. Should have been checked before we arrived!
- Linda (8/5): Comfortable and Peaceful well located if using a car. Not sure about a bus route. - Very quiet, Lovely and clean, Mattress best nights sleep for ages very comfortable Would definitely return and the owner was lovely really helpful. Within a 10 minute drive of Papworth and Addenbrookes.
- Deborah (7/5): Nice location - Location was ideal for our visit to a music festival at Audley End being just 24 minutes away. Hotels nearer to the event were charging up to £500 a night so this property was decent value for money. Excellent communication from the host throughout, towels, toiletries, tea and coffee all provided which was nice. We were in a ground floor apartment and unfortunately the apartment above was occupied so we could hear the occupants talking, walking about, using the bathroom etc. They weren't being excessively noisy but we were kept awake until 1.30am.
- Jun Yeup (7/5): -
- gianni (9/5): Ottimo per qualche giorno - Facilmente raggiungibile in un quartiere tranquillo.
Cordialità del gestore, davvero molto simpatico e disponibile a dare informazioni.
Pulizia generale e buon confort generale.
- Linda (7/5): Fennec apartment - 2 - Good location - Addenbrookes hospital as well as the city centre are well accessible by bus.
Tesco superstore nearby is a life saver.
Good instructions and decent parking just outside the gate.
Value for money. It would have been better if there were a few essentials such as salt, pepper, oil, these were on the pictures of the property.
The mattress and sofa were not comfortable
- Deanna (8/5): Very good -
- Kim (5/5): Fennec apartments. - Convenient location. Comfy bed, clean linen. Reasonable price. Could be 5 star with more effort and attention to detail. We were in 1st floor apartment, friends in ground floor, review about the same. No parking. Very flat pillows. Dirty utensils. Oven door broken. Hob cracked and dirty. Only 1 bathtowel for 2 people. Freezer needs defrosting. Shower waste needs attention.

- Derek (8/5): comfortable for the one night stay -
- Diane (9/5): Superb -
- Barry (9/5): Great place to stay near Duxford - Very clean and well appointed We had a third travelling companion and the bed sit was a bid lumpy. Great accommodation for two people only.
- Robin (8/5): Lovely hosts. Lovely apartment. Met my needs - Excellent location for access to hospital ( required next day admission) Nothing
- Ian (9/5): Great little place ⭐️ - Everything was has it said it would be and the host was great Nothing

- Ian (8/5): Lovely place very clean - Great little place Everything was great
- Dave (2/5): Very poor - Location and apartment were nice ,comfortable bed and great shower. We were in the upstairs apartment the downstairs apartment were unbelievably noisy shouting and swearing until gone midnight and then woke at 5 to loud music dancing and shouting at least three different voices ,still going until we left at nine.It would have been nice to have had some uht milk on arrival after a four hour drive all i wanted was a cuppa ,not much point having Tea coffee sugar etc if no milk. Other small point plug dident work in bathroom so it was hard to have a wet shave.
- Culling (8/5): Very good - Good value for money and the owner was very helpful responding to requests A little difficult to find
- Krysten (7/5): Very nice. Comfortable. - It could sleep four in 3 beds. It had a kitchen and table. It is in a safe neighbourhood. Needs a few more accessories. A kitchen towel. Oven mits. A dishwasher tablet.

- Robert (9/5): Easy to book easy check in - Location price clean Not enough milk

- Kev (5/5): Passable -
- Karen (9/5): Cosy, comfy and quiet- perfect winter break. - The apartment is located in a quiet residential area but next to a park. A great location , only just outside Cambridge. We drove into the city but there were buses locally. It’s a cosy, comfy place with good facilities. The heating was programmed perfectly but it was easy to adjust if we had needed. There was free street parking right outside.
A good size shower. Fully fitted kitchen- it was great to have a dishwasher .
Good accommodation for a 2 night break but would be ok for longer.
We highly recommend and hope to stay again. As there are 2 apartments it would be good for 2 couples to stay. Personally I would have liked a bit more cooking equipment as we like to cook. Maybe an extra saucepan or frying pan.
Maybe a bit more cutlery too. Just because we made use of having a dishwasher. That’s it really- everything else was great.
- Barry (10/5): Exceptional - Spacious apartment. Nice decor. Kitchen has every appliance you could possibly need. Good location close to Cambridge city centre, in a quiet close (no problem finding somewhere to park).
- Lewis (7/5): Good -
- Mary (8/5): - The place was a lot smaller than the pictures
- Annette (8/5): Very good -
- Carolyn (8/5): Very good - We were unable to open the dryer on multiple occasions. We had to use the emergency override that we found on YouTube.
- Ruhal (10/5): Exceptional - Good 👍🏻 Good 👍🏻
- Annalisa (6/5): Quiet location but the rest needs improvement - Calm and residential neighbourhood, close to supermarket. Good for a one or two nights stay. Furniture could use an update, cutlery and other kitchen amenities were mostly missing, the toilet needed a deeper clean that how we found it. We stayed there for a week to do homeoffice and visit family, deciding after a confirmation of the host that the wi-fi was stable enough for working/calling/meetings, but unfortunately it wasn't at all -- it shouldn't be a bother though if you use only phones. We had "special" needs, however it still lacked of some basic services.
- Jessics (10/5): In a lovely location, lovely little apartment Which is modern, very welcoming with little added touches, host was very he -
- Frances (7/5): Fine for overnight stay following a family wedding - The price was fair. Good to have a washing machine although we didn’t use it We couldn’t use the kettle as it needed replacing
- Caroline (8/5): Great location - Location- very quiet road, close to places like Newmarket racecourse and Cambridge city centre.
Ease of check in.
Facilities -contained most things you need for a self-catered short break for 2.
Value for money.
Parking- easy on road parking close to entrance. There was only 1 towel provided for 2 people, not sure if this was a mistake. You can hear the people in the apartment below.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Poor. - Not suitable.
- Satish (5/5): Passable -
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Ian (7/5): Good -
- Emmanuel (8/5): No issues - The location of the apartment. Lack of sweeping brush and bin bags in the apartment
- Garry (8/5): Very good -
- John (6/5): Pleasant -
- James (8/5): Convenient for our needs, comfortable and good spec.. - High specification and pleasant location Flat 2 was above Flat 1, early morning all we could hear was the other guests walking around on the laminated floor, carpets or rugs might help!
- Meg (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Dai (3/5): Poor -
- Steven (10/5): Economical bright and airy apartment - A nice, bright (double aspect windows) apartment in a very quiet close, on the edge of Cambridge.
Clean and fairly well appointed (fridge freezer, microwave, cooker, washing machine, iron and board). No hairdryer as far as I can see. TV and Virgin box. Comfortable bed (I do hate poor mattresses) was a blessing.
I'm sure that before booking it claimed to have parking, because I declined several other properties because they had no parking. However in the confirmation they stated that parking is on the street and is limited, which is due to the nature of modern estate design. However the location is at the very end of a close, there's no through traffic, and I was able to park right outside.
It's 3 or 4 miles to the centre of town, fairly easy drive for Cambridge. There's a very big Tesco within a mile, if needed.
Don't go there as a noisy late night group. I was solo, and was out until 11pm at the Corn Exchange to see a gig. I sat using my phone with the TV on at a moderate level (IMHO) but got some terse knocking on the wall or ceiling from below after midnight. It really wasn't loud, but I guess modern build often comes with limited sound insulation. Not a big deal for me, I wasn't going to be watching much longer anyway, but I imagine some groups of people might find that they have an issue.
- Mrs (7/5): Would go again - Lots of space. Nice place to walk. Pathways between houses with.shop at the end of it.
Lovely little garden to sit in.
Owner very friendly.
Great we had extra towels and pillows and duvet.
Shower was good.
OVER ALL WE HAD A.LOVELY TIME. More detailed information on how to get keys and enter the property
Kitchen and bathroom plug would not stay in.
Cooker and hob no instructions on how to use as it was computerised.
Nice table, which pulled out. Same with chairs. Unfortunately table unstable. Rocked side to side. Think hinge had gone.
Needed more coat hangers.
Only 1 fork
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Rachel (7/5): Good -
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Martina (9/5): Superb - Really quiet house, next to a park. The house was small but comfortable, clean and well equipped. I would definitely stay here again. It's a bit out of the way so if you don't have a car getting to central Cambridge might take a bit but buses come pretty frequently.
- Christine (9/5): Superb - It was clean and quiet.
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Eve (10/5): - Wasn't expecting any parking but found it easy to park in a visitor's bay, after checking with a local resident.
Nice to have tea, coffee & biscuits too. Thank you.
- Peter (8/5): Nice but the upstairs apartment is a better layout - Its location and it had everything I needed. Nothing that would stop me returning - which Iwill de doing next week
- Bruce (9/5): Little private gem - Booked as convenient for early hospital appointment. But would book for longer stay as was impressed with this studio. Even sofa bed was very comfortable. Parking no problem and quiet cul-de-sac. Easy access without need to call owner. With two double beds a bit tight for room but not a problem. Very good value for money. Second studio overhead not well insulated so noise from even just walking in rooms at very early hours.
- Colin (8/5): Very good -
- Shwe (6/5): Pleasant - Would be better
- if basic needs such as shower gel were provided
- mirror positioning
- if wardrobes were not dusty
- Charlotte (8/5): Very good -
- Ann (8/5): Very good -
- Naelah (8/5): pleasant stay in a quiet neighbourhood - Modern, clean and comfortable apartment Small and compact - not comfortable for a big group
- Srinivasulu (10/5): Exceptional -

Would def go stay here again. Walls are very thin, you can hear everything.
- Edward (7/5): Good -
- Mark (8/5): Comfortable - Exceptionally clean and a comfortable bed
- Gill (5/5): Passable - Convenient location and quiet. Good for early morning flight from Stansted. A bit dusty round the table and skirting boards. One of the dining chairs is broken. Only 3 mugs (4 of us).
- Lesley (6/5): Ok for an overnight stay when visiting Newmarket races - Ok for 1 night stay Unfortunately when we cooked breakfast there were only 2 forks- we were a party of 4 as stated on booking form
- Bogumilafilipek (9/5): Good value for money. - All in, there's even iron available.
Very sunny apartment.
Good value for money.
