- Regina (8/5): - Hatten ein kleines Zimmer, in dem man zu zweit schon an seine Grenzen kam. Sehr kleines Bad. Verständigung mit Rezeption schwierig. Frische Handtücher nur wenn man extra welche wünscht, und man dann leider doch nicht bekommt. Betten unbequem und durchgelegen. Freundlichkeit des Personals, durwachsen. Nachts schwer zu finden, Hoteleinfahrt kaum zu sehen.

- Emil (4/5): Bad location and poor service - Well the location is really bad. You are far away from everything and the is a highway just outside the window. It doesn't look like the pictures. There was no fridge at the room and it wasn't possible to get cold drinking water. The room was okay.

- Sufen (10/5): - Location near the Calanques was great as the hike literally starts in the backyard. As it’s not directly in Cassis itself, it’s an easy 5min drive into the town. Simple and clean room with a thoughtful layout, the AC was amazing during those hot days. Staff don’t particularly speak English, but super helpful and you can make out the tips and tricks he was giving us for the hike. Would recommend this place if you intend to hike; the calanques are definitely worth it!

- Kate (8/5): - This is a nice comfortable place. It is away from town on a windy road. My advice is to be very specific on the accommodations you want. My friend and I booked a room with 2 beds and the hotel assumed 2 people would only need 1 bed, so they didn’t even put sheets on the other bed. I was told I should have added it to the comment section of the online reservation. Housekeeping had already departed by check-in time, so there was no remedy, except to share the bed. I have never seen a second bed in a hotel room left unmade.

- Andrew (4/5): Einmal und nie wieder Hotel. - Trotz teurer Unterkunft, Zimmer in Richtung Hauptstrasse. Ganze Nacht sporadischer Verkehr, und dies in einem Naturschutzgebiet. Preis im Vergleich mit viel besseren Zimmern sehr hoch. Zusatzkosten im Vergleich zu andern Hotels sehr hoch (z.B. Hund). Das Gefühl der Abzockerei.
- Alina (8/5): - Cute place with a lot of charm. There are few things to keep in mind when booking, which we probably missed or misunderstood. The hotel is literally in the middle of nowhere, off national road, with absolutely nothing but nature surrounding the area. The town of Cassis is 10-15 mins drive away. Reception has limited hours and they close mid day, meaning no access at all to the lobby or any human for service. We were in the room one of the days when housekeeping did they rounds. They did not knock on our door to ask if we want service. They just left a note on the door that they could not service our room because we were there. And we had to make do with dirty towels and ration our toilet paper till next day. Other than that, very cute place, more like a pit stop. Tiny rooms but charming. Everyone is very nice and pleasant and the breakfast is delicious. Dinner is outstanding, but not served every night. Sundays and Mondays you need to drive into town for dinner.

The location is beautiful- in the Parc, which is very special. Modern interiors which were nice. There is a small sized bathroom (shower and WC)but it was perfectly adequate. There was good central AC in our room. Cassis is the nearest village- 5 min drive. If you’re looking for decent parking in town, the Mimosa Parking lot is great- larger size and EV charging spots.

- Georgialee (6/5): This is NOT literally Cassis - The room was very small and provided very little space for your clothes. The bathroom was not ventilated either. Because you are so far from Cassis city center you are pretty much forced to have breakfast (12 Euro) daily because there was no coffee machine in the room. A queen bed was supposed to be in the room, but it was the 2 twin beds joined and always that crack. There is no pool or other amenities and for the price we felt it was one of the poorest choices of hotels. The only amenity is that you can take the path to the main path to En Vau, or the Calanenque Park best inlet. If you choose to stay in town you will have free parking and parking there is difficult in high season, which is when we were the. Also the staff except for Benjamin we curt with us. The breakfast (unlike most European breakfasts) did not include eggs, or ham or cheese, but was adequate.

- David (10/5): Quaint Hotel Very Nice - Very quaint hotel. We loved the ambiance. Small rooms but comfortable. Super friendly staff. Lots of open space. Large open parking lot so parking is not a problem like it is almost everywhere else in Cassis. We would definitely stay here again.
- richard hamlyn (10/5): - We were looking for a peaceful holiday break. The hotel, situated in the Parc des Calanques, gave us that. It's situation meant a 10 minute drive into Cassis when we wanted to visit the port and numerous cafes and restaurants. The staff were brilliant, friendly and very helpful. Also, everything was at ground level which meant that it was easy to get about with my mobility issues.

Também o que é ruim que precisa reservar o café da manhã. Não tem serviço de quarto e por ser longe , ficamos sem opção . O café servido é cobrado eur 12,00 por pessoa e é razoável . O jardim da parte de trás do hotel está bem mau cuidado. Precisa de manutenção. Quando chegamos , ao lado do vaso sanitário tinha um Cheiro bem desagradável. Para quem gosta de tranquilidade , é um ambiente bem calmo e bom para relaxar . As camas são bem confortáveis .

- Evelyn (6/5): Ok overall - Had an average stay here. Stylistically this place is cute. But the rooms are really cramped and the bathroom very small. It’s basic size so it is what it is. Location wise it’s nice, ten minute drive to town but nothing else around. Would not recommend getting the breakfast as the quality wasn’t great. And was expensive for just bread/croissant and granola/nuts/yogurt. Found a long curly hair in my yogurt after I took a bite. Didn’t get comped. Offered me another yogurt but I was so grossed out and didn’t want another one. Overall the stay was fine but just don’t expect much but the basics and not a lot of room to navigate. Stayed here 3 nights.
- Alain (10/5): Hébergement tranquille - Hébergement parfait pour la tranquillité. Nous avons apprécié prendre l’apéro sur notre terrasse privée. Petit déjeuner correct. Superbe communication par e-mail avec un membre de l’hôtel. Point à améliorer: nous avons eu deux petites serviettes pour nos deux nuits. Quand j’ai demandé une 3e serviette pour mes cheveux, ils m’ont dit que ce n’était pas possible. Au début, je croyais qu’ils blaguaient. Mais non!!!! J’ai utilisé ma serviette de plage non-propre pour m’essuyer. J’ai juste trouvé ça ordinaire.
- Lyndsay (10/5): - We could not recommend this hotel enough. It’s located just outside of Cassis, backing onto the national park. The setting beautiful and private, the grounds are beautifully kept with lovely seating areas and access to the hiking trails. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well decorated. The restaurant on site makes incredible food, we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner. The staff are lovely and clearly care very much about their hotel. We also appreciated the environmental efforts in place.
- Joan (10/5): - This is such a great location if you want to hike and the national park. It is also convenient enough to the downtown where you can enjoy a boat ride from the port as well. The team was so friendly and kind to us. We only stayed one night, but will definitely stay longer if we wanted to come back.

- Katarzyna (10/5): - We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The location is perfect, a short drive from centre-Cassis and right in the park. The dinner was one of our favourites we had in France. The room and washroom are a tad snug but very comfortable.

We were able to hike straight into the Calanques from the back of the hotel. We loved the quiet location and Cassis is a wonderful place to spend a couple of days.

Good restaurant, dinner requires reservation. Reliable wi-fi. Free parking. Area seemed safe and secure. Also listed as Hôtel du Joli Bois on some maps when trying to pinpoint location.

Endroit calme avec un superbe accueil et une résolution éco-responsable à,tous les niveaux. Le petit déjeuner est impeccable avec des producteurs de la région et des produits fait maison.

- Francisco (10/5): Excellent séjour - Excellent séjour, hôtel restaurant au calme dans le parc national des calanques, jolies chambres spacieuses et confortables. Accueil très chaleureux et sympathique.
- Gabriela (4/5): - Hotel au bord de la route nationale Marseille-Cassis, trop bruyant jour et nuit, aucun interêt d’avoir une terrasse privative si vous voulez vous reposer après une longue journée. Chambre petite, sdb minuscule et aucune isolation sonore, on entendait tout des sdb voisines.. Pas du tout pratique si vous songez à faire un voyage sans voiture. Uniquement desservi en taxi mais encore il faut en trouver un. Un seul service de restauration le soir et pour maximum 20 personnes, si c’est complet aucune chance de vous faire préparer un plat de pâtes. On s’est fait livrer des bonnes pizzas ;)

- Na (10/5): Pour randonneurs ou automobilistes ! - Très joli hôtel repris en main en 2020 par des gens soigneux, motivés et qui savent faire. Prestations impeccables. Manque peut-être une restauration tous les soirs de la semaine. Mais l’emplacement éloigné du centre ville en fait un spot génial pour attaquer les randos vers les calanques, mais un spot bien galère pour aller en ville si vous êtes à pieds ! Prévoir le taxi bien à l’avance ou la longue rando d’une heure le long de la route dans le noir et les phares des bagnoles, si vous n’y avez pas pensé. En revanche, si vous êtes randonneurs un peu aventureux vous pouvez aller au port par la garrigue. Demandez aux patrons. Maintenant ils savent ! On a testé et on leur a expliqué ! Si vous avez un moyen de transport (ou des bons mollets !) cet hôtel a tout bon ! A recommander.

- Philippe (8/5): Hotel parfait pour sejour dans les calanques - Accueil er localisation de l'hôtel vraiment tres bien. Rando et vtt direct sur les calanques sans avoir besoin de prendre la voiture. Le centre de Cassis est à 5 mn en voiture. Bemol pour les connectés, couverture réseaux mobiles quasi inexistante et le wifi passe difficilement par endroit mais les propriétaires ont promis d'y remédier au plus vite.

Das Zimmer dem Preis entsprechend gut, sehr sauber und "Coronamäßig" sorgfältig gereinigt. Selbst unser kleiner Hund wurde schon beim Eintreffen mit Leckerli und frischem Wasser im Zimmer verwöhnt.

- Seri (8/5): Cute hotel a few minutes drive from Cassis - The couple who run the hotel were extremely friendly and helped answer all my questions about hiking in the calanques despite my very limited French. Breakfast was incredibly pleasant on the terrace overlooking the gardens. The rooms are quite dated, so don't expect luxury... that said, this was the most affordable option near cassis. The hotel is too far to walk to cassis. But it is very peaceful of a night.

- robert (10/5): Cute country hotel! - Cute little country place! If your not into big chain hotels and you just want a clean place to stay, this is it. Literally 10-12 minutes from Cassis. We arrived early and they let us get our room anyways. Cute couple who are very accommodating! Family of 5 fit perfectly in the room!
