- viviane (1/5): very rude staff - I had reserved the hotel for one day prior to my arrival, as I was scheduled to land around 5AM on april 19th and go directly from the airport. The booking stated that payment would be made at the property. However, when I arrived, I was informed that my reservation had been canceled and that there were no rooms available. The front desk staff was extremely rude, and the manager was even worse—both were aggressive and made no effort whatsoever to resolve the situation. Overall, it was a terrible experience. I had reserved the hotel for one day prior to my arrival, as I was scheduled to land around 9:00 AM and go directly from the airport. The booking stated that payment would be made at the property. However, when I arrived, I was informed that my reservation had been canceled and that there were no rooms available. The front desk staff was extremely rude, and the manager was even worse—both were aggressive and made no effort whatsoever to resolve the situation. Overall, it was a terrible experience.

- Daniela (9/5): - Our stay at the Park Ave turned out to be truly unforgettable. Although our arrival was a little disappointing at first — we were assigned a 4th‑floor room despite having paid extra for an upgrade and having requested a higher floor in advance — everything changed the following day. Once we mentioned the issue, the Hotel Manager and the entire staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely committed to making things right. They upgraded us to a beautiful suite and went above and beyond to assist us with anything we needed throughout our stay. Thanks to their professionalism and warmth, what began as a small setback quickly transformed into a wonderful experience. Leaving was honestly difficult, and I already can’t wait to come back as soon as possible. Nulla, è tutto perfetto! vorrei vivere nella splendida Suite di Hotel Park Ave per sempre! :-)

- Mari (7/5): Nice. Room was decent, not as nice as it used to be in 2023, staff was nice, they threw away my hat. - I had stayed here before and it was amazing. We had breakfast included and it was great, not this time. It would cost $30 per person. Also they changed the hotel quite a bit since our last visit in 2023, seemed more of a downgrade than an upgrade. Staff was nice. They came to fix our mini fridge same evening that we got there because it was not working. They where fast. Clean, pretty, good location. We arrived and noticed a bit of a "smokers" smell in the room. We decided to keep it but was disappointed paying so much for it. They did offer to change us to new room but my daughter liked the room with smell better than the other one they offered because it was bigger, less light though. When they offered a different room we went to see it and by accident I left my hat there. Few hours later when I realized I left the hat in the other room I called front desk to ask if the cleaning crew found it and they said the threw it away, MY BRAND NEW HAT. They didn't even place it in lost and found, EXTREMELY disappointing. They got us a ride to the airport that said was a flat rate of $65 but then when I arrived they said it was $75 plus add tip, So Don't be fooled with Flat rate. I rather have transparency on what it was going to cost. Uber would have been cheaper. It was fine, just not impressed at that price tag.

- Iuliia (8/5): - The hotel is incredibly stylish and modern. Everything felt brand new, high-quality, and beautifully designed. The aesthetic of the place is definitely its strongest point. Housekeeping was disappointing; our room wasn't cleaned after the first night, and we had to ask reception twice the next day to get it done. Also, our room was quite dark as the windows faced a neighboring building. Most significantly, I got food poisoning after dining at the hotel restaurant on our first night, which was very upsetting.

No problem if you needed anything extra towels, cab etc. Location was good when in NYC you walk everywhere . Daughter loved the double showerheads . Would have liked to have seen the roof bar but it wasn't opened yet. Didn't like the room lighting . Couldn't turn on just one light everything went on or off at once. Seems like a design fail. Had an inside room its was a little noisy with the morning trucks and trash cans.

Mini fridge with complimentary coke and waters. Large windows with nice views of the city. The bed could have been a little softer, and the bathroom still needs some renovating. Could have used some snacks in the mini fridge and the heating system was old and made a loud sound when the heat was on.
- Anjali (1/5): Very cold rooms - The room was very cold. The thermostat in the room did nothing, or maybe the thermostat was just for show. The shower water was also lukewarm, other hotels have hot showers. There was a lot of honking noise from the street, especially in morning 6 to 9. Similarly there was a lot of door slamming noise in the morning. If you leave the shower door open, it auto closes with a loud bang. I think that's what it was. The hotel has no reception area, just check-in kiosks and elevators.
- sydney (10/5): 10's ACROSS THE BOARD! - The hotel itself is such a beautiful hotel in a prime location, my room was spacious and well decorated, but the STAFF MADE IT AMAZING!!!! Evan, Brian, and there was an overnight black gentleman who wears glasses, and a beautiful young black woman who was from NY that made our trip AMAZING!!! They made us feel like family and made my best friend's birthday trip unforgettable! They treated us with such care and compassion, provided us with great recommendations, and made us feel like we were right at home, but a more glamorous home! All of the staff was great and never missed a beat! We had such a phenomenal time that we extended our trip a extra night lol! I cannot brag on the staff enough!!!! We will be back and will continue to recommend you all and PLEASE Continue to take care of the above mentioned staff so they never leave! They need a nice raise and bonus because they are creating lifelong guests! Now the location like I said is prime! You are walking distance from several tourist attractions (time square, empire state building, koreatown) and are a quick bike ride away from Soho! I also biked to central park and the met which was great but a bit more of a workout than the other locations. You have an endless supply of train entrances around the hotel to get to other boroughs, and its also a easily accesible spot for ubers to pick you up. There are so many great bars, restaurants, parks, and club within 10-15 minutes of the hotel. We had a BLAST at Obvio which is walking distance and had a great dinner at Bras s. Thank you all for giving us such a great and warm experience, our hotel and the staff literally made this trip so unforgettable and I hope each of you read this and know that you helped these southern girls have a fabulous girl trip and we are so thankful! Thank you all for all of the love and care you poured into us!

Έκανα κράτηση και πλήρωσα συγκεκριμένο δωμάτιο με μπαλκόνι, το οποίο μου είπαν ότι δεν ήταν διαθέσιμο παρά μόνο την τελευταία νύχτα της κράτησής μου. Αρνήθηκα να αλλάξω δωμάτιο για ένα βράδυ και περιμένω ακόμη (13 ημέρες μετά) να μου καταβάλουν τη διαφορά της τιμής του δωματίου. Με δεδομένο ότι bar και εστιατόριο ήταν υπό κατασκευή τα δωμάτια έπρεπε να διαθέτουν καφετιέρα. Η καθαριότητα ήταν στοιχειώδης και το σύστημα ψύξης-θέρμανσης πολύ θορυβώδες.

The whole check-in process was very accesible and easy to understand The room wasn’t as comfortable as promoted for 4 people and considering there were four of us, they only gave us 3 towels.

Posa que inclou l'esmorzar, però és només una beguda i una pasta d'una cafeteria sense lloc per seure a l'altra banda del carrer. Érem 4 i cada dia ens portaven tovalloles per 3 persones, no hi havia barnussos, sabatilles, ni raspall de dents.

- Anthony (8/5): Comfort, location and cleanliness all amazing. - Comfort, location and cleanliness all amazing. The check in and out kiosks are somewhat difficult to navigate. Also there was a communication between booking.com and the property in terms of cost and I feel that I was over charged.
- Kayla (4/5): We would not recommend. Room lacks basic amenities - The hotel was close to the subway. The hotel did not have a front desk. You checked yourself in. Zero holiday decorations for Christmas in the lobby. The rooms did not have a coffee pot and complimentary coffee wasn’t available downstairs. If you wanted coffee you had to leave the hotel. The main reason I wouldn’t stay here again was because the bathroom was terrible. There is NO way to keep water inside the shower. It was a complete mess trying to keep the water in a walk in shower contained with a short shower curtain. Water was all over the bathroom floor to the toilet and sink area soaking through the bath mat after each shower. This causes a slipping hazard. We used every spare towel trying to “mop” up the floor after every shower. The floor in the bathroom stayed wet so walking in with shoes on left black New York street grime all over the floor. The sink area had no counter top. Just a sink. No place to put on makeup or set your toothbrush down. No place for your toiletries. There was zero countertop! In the room there is no dressing table either so it was impossible to find a proper spot to put on makeup and style your hair in the morning. There was only one very small bedside table for a king size bed. The other side without a nightstand had no place to set your phone and charger or a keep bottle water. These details were lacking and made for an uncomfortable experience.

- Gabriel (2/5): Engaño con el desayuno - Está bien ubicado y limpio Reservamos en el mes septiembre . Queríamos reservar con desayuno y vimos que el hotel lo ofrecía, pero en las críticas decía que el restaurante estaba en obras. Con estos comentarios escribí al hotel y me dijeron que en el momento que el restaurante se abriera nuestro desayuno sería en el hotel. Hemos llegado al hotel y el desayuno es un vale para ir a tomar un café y un croisant en un sitio al lado del hotel donde no te puedes sentar. He reclamado pero da igual . La responsable que estaba el sábado me decía que podía desayunar en el hotel , pero pagando y a la vez me decía que el desayuno estaba incluido. Como no quería seguir discutiendo fuimos a coger el desayuno al café donde nos habían dado los vales. Cuando regresamos con el desayuno les pregunté si podíamos tomarlo en el restaurante del hotel y una persona en recepción nos dijo que sí. En cuanto nos sentamos en unos sofás que tienen en el restaurante, apareció la encargada para decirnos que no se podía traer comida de fuera. Todo muy coherente, resulta que voy al sitio donde podía canjear los vales de desayuno y cuando vuelvo me dicen que eso es comida de fuera del hotel. Mi hijo va con muletas y no se podía desplazar bien por eso necesitábamos el desayuno el el hotel, pero les dio igual y tuvimos que desayunar en la habitación. Por último, después del lío, cuando salíamos el primer día después, la responsable nos pidió el número de habitación porque, según ella, nos iba a compensar con algo “nice”, pues bien nos hemos ido y ni compensación ni nada. En definitiva, no recomiendo venir a este hotel porque no cumplen lo que indican y no tienen la mínima sensibilidad con la gente con problemas de movilidad.

- Kristine (8/5): Overall we had a fantastic stay, could not fault the room, friendly staff, location and cleanliness. - Wry modern and clean and lovely restaurant We were disappointed that breakfast was not included as per booking.com reservation and hotel only offered a $10 voucher for a small cafe across the road or 10% off in the restaurant. We had breakfast once in the restaurant which was delicious but then chose to eat out. We did not use the voucher as felt a bit naf to be honest!

- Bruno (5/5): As above - Heating system made an u orthodox loud noise when it kicked in. It wakes you at night. Staff should have been aware of it. It’s their job. Asked for a hard copy of my receipt but it appeared to be a tedious process so I settled for an email version. This email wasn’t sent and I had to call the hotel numerous times before it was sent and received almost instantly. One staff member wasn’t too pleasant but not rude. In the hospitality business one must be "ON" his or her game 100% of the time with customers. This unpleasant attitude showed. As above

- Marie (7/5): Un bon hôtel mais pas le meilleur rapport qualité prix - L'emplacement de l'hôtel, le confort de la chambre Le petit déjeuner a été une galère. Dans le petit dejeuner inclus vous avez normalement droit à une boisson chaude et une patisserie mais au moment de l'addition il vous font quand même signer une addition avec le montant total en vous disant qu'il ne vous prelevrons pas et que c'était juste pour suivre les conso de chaque chambre. Mais au final nous avons quand meme bien été facturé après notre départ. Même chose, si vous prenez un autre petit dej en dehors des viennoiseries ils vous font une réduction de 10 dollars par personne. Mais au final vous applique une taxe sortie de nul part (large table 20%) qui est équivalente à 10 dollars donc vous payez quand même.

Sinceramente non mi è chiaro come gestiscano la puliza camere in US, in ogni caso non é programmata tutte le mattine e anzi bisogna chiedere in reception specificamente ogni cosa. Pulizia e riordino camera, cambio asciugamani, etc.
- RAUL (9/5): Great room, nice and clean hotel in a nice location - if possible skip paying for the breakfast. - - Spacious room - Good wifi connection - i was able to attend a biz meeting with no problems. - Self check-in and check-out - Friendly staff - Location: close to subway stations, convenience stores, coffe shops, bars, empire state, 5th avenue and 20 minutes to timesquare. - Nice and quiet neighborhood. - Breakfast: free drip coffee and 1 peace of pasty.. not sure if paying for the breakfast is a good investment vs dining healthier somewhere else instead. - The hotel restaurant is fairly new so they were kind of confused specially when ordering extra things from the menu, besides the " included breakfast", personel had some issues explaining some charges in the bill, making it confusing as a customer. This also happened to other guests.

Unclear who is staff and who is guest. Very small lobby with multiple computers. No coffee maker in room. Sliding bathroom door offers no sound privacy. Small closet for two people.

- Ioannis (9/5): - Great location - very close to metro station and centrally located in Manhattan. The room for NYC standards was quite spacious and the beds were great!!! Breakfast was serviced by a nearby cafe but it was adequate and fine. The room was clean and the bathroom quite bigger than needed :) For a family a bigger variety in breakfast choices would be appreciated - besides that all was great!!!

- Ethan (6/5): - The check-in process, in theory, is a great concept. Being able to check in on a kiosk is convenient, quick, and (you’d think) simple. However, it didn’t work for me and countless guests I witnessed after and over the follow couple of days. As a result of this, there was a backlog of people awaiting check in, which would be fine if there was sufficient staff and/or the lobby could accommodate more than 6 people + luggage at a time. Having to weave in and out of people when trying to enter or exit was cumbersome and poorly designed. I arrived at a slower time, so check-in wasn’t terrible, I just had to wait because the kiosk didn’t work. This aside, I would rather.

We had vouchers for breakfast in a good nearby shop, they had tasty coffee and pastry. The double room is spacious and the beds are super comfortable. The bathroom was not clean enough. It would be nice to have kettle in the room to prepare hot drinks.
