• bev (7/5): Staff were aloof. - All but one thing…see below. I fell on the step near the parking area. There was a step just inside the door off carpark with no warning sign. I emailed staff letting them know. They never answered or enquired if i was ok. Luckily i was sore but no bones broken.

• Robyn (5/5): Reasonable price for basic facilities - Value for the price that booking.com subsidised. Thank you booking.com The room's fittings and fixtures are dated but ok. It was spacious and quiet Bathroom had mould in the shower recess and obvious smears on wall tiles. A thorough clean with bleach, or a similar product, is recommended to meet basic standards

• Josie (5/5): - The EXIT to the Motel is horrific! It is NOT good for low vehicles - The surface is very uneven which has caused damage under our vehicle. Please look into repairing it! Its horrible!

• Brooke (5/5): Basic facilities but fine for the purposes. - The room didn't have an external window and had a strong bleach smell which was unpleasant. The room and bathroom were very clean. It was fine for the one night and our early start Sunday morning. No fresh air to the room.

• Lara (1/5): Would not recommend to anyone with kids. Full of cockroaches, tv cracked. Will never stay here again. - The location- that’s it The property was in desperate need of an update. The tv had a crack through it so was extremely hard to watch. Turned the air con on and cockroaches flew out and covered the beds. The fridge was filthy and the service was terrible. I wouldn’t recommend anyone with children stay here and I would never stay here again. 0/10 review!

• Joy (7/5): Reasonable price, good location to lake & beach, shopping near by was good. - We had a problem with the air-conditioner and were moved quickly to another room. It is being gradually renovated, our first room was needing some TLC. Second room was a lot better.

• Maggie (6/5): - Good location. Easy to find. Excellent having the hall way between car park and main rd and the rooms. You don't hear traffic at all. No staff to welcome you. Rude on phone when I finally got through. Towel rack was broken at wall bracket. Slightest touch sent it to the ground. This would have been extremely evident when they hung the floor mat on it, clearly they hung it then rebalanced it. Did not report it as felt I was being set up.

• Wanda (1/5): Unpleasant stay in over rated rundown facility. - Location was close to event. Did not match web pictures. No way it is a 3.5 star motel. Reception had strong food cooking odour. Our family room (#11) was run down, carpet squares were lifted or missing. TV did not work, staff were unaware and offered partial refund but were not around at checkout and have not responded to messages in the app. Shower and doors/handles were grotty. Curtains were old and insufficient. Place was not well cleaned. More importantly window had no security except for a bit of pipe in the track to stop it being opened all the way. No security screen. Aircon was so noisey it could not be left on overnight so a very unpleasant night feeling unsafe with minimal breeze to co us after a 36 degree day.

• Jason (4/5): A place to stay, byo bedding and earplugs - Location good and low price which was under my budget. When mt booking was cancelled at another property, I took a punt on this one. Literally a sheet for bed covering. No blankets or doonas in the room. Reception was closed when I realised. I ended up wearing more clothes to bed. Around 3 to 4 oclock the "neighbough" next door has a scrwaming fit and fight with someone, out and in the room several times. Maybe I just picked the wrong night, then again maybe not.

• Miyo (1/5): ... - I would also like to mention that the staff member my partner spoke with on the morning of our stay was courteous and provided good service. There was a strong ammonia-like smell coming from the wall next to the bed, which made it impossible for me to sleep. ・The electric kettle still contained water left by the previous guest, indicating that it had not been properly cleaned. •When we contacted the property on the morning of our stay regarding check-in, we were told that our reservation did not appear to exist. •Considering that the payment had already been completed, I found this situation completely unacceptable.

• MJ (7/5): - Our room was neat & tidy for the value & met our needs traveling with a child. No issues with traffic noise, it was quiet at night. The pillows! 2 of the 3 were not comfortable at all as they were extremely thick. An extra blanket available would have been good as it was quite cold during our stay & we prefer not to use the heating so much.

Great for a night, small fridge in room as well as storage Little confused on arrival, for checkin, and check in time was set but wasnt really needed - no staff on site (had to rush there, then go back out- around closing time of local shops added extra driving to the long day) but staff answered calls and questions i had. Was a little noisy, with neighbours movements.

There was only one sink which was inside the bathroom, meaning that any food you wanted to wash had to be washed inside the bathroom. Hence making it unhygienic.
