Very clean and nice location with nice balconky to sit. Bed was firm and studio means up and doen stairs to go to the toilet. Fridge is a bit tiny.
• Kelly (10/5): A Lovely Getaway in the Swan Valley if you Want a Relaxing Break from the Day to Day. - Maya Maya was a delightful place to begin a driving tour from Perth to the Avon Valley via the Swan Valley and everything that has to offer. Professional, courteous staff, contacted me a couple of days before my arrival to double check the details . I highly recommend opting for the buffet breakfast inclusion. On arrival we checked in at the cellar door, then drove up to the room, and checked it out. Literally, spotlessly clean. How the shower screen didn’t have a single watermark on it was a source of extended (scintillating) conversation between us. The room had lovely outlook over a quintessentially Aussie bushland view from the patio (beautifully curated by some clever landscaping in the foreground) making it easy to forget that I was a mere 40 minute drive from my home in the suburbs. We walked through the vines back to the cellar and did a wine tasting with food pairing, which we had organised in advance. I absolutely recommend this option, as we were looking forward to dining at The Homestead that evening. It did not disappoint. Excellent food, (which we attempted to pair with wine we thought would complement our dishes) a warm ambiance and fabulous service. The next morning we packed up, and managed to compliment the housekeepers as we headed back to the cellar door to check out. From there we went to enjoy a buffet breakfast, enjoying beautiful views over the grounds, before jumping back in the car and heading off to our next destination. It was a wonderful start to our week, and set the bar very high. Nothing

• Liz (8/5): A good location if you wish to visit the wineries in the Swan valley. - I chose this winery accommodation as it was in a handy located close to an event I attended. The room was spacious, clean and modern. The bed was comfortable and tea and coffee facilities were available in the room. There is a restaurant and cellar door on at the winery. Noise travelled from the outside and upper rooms in the late evening. Not very sound proof - large aircraft overhead too! Ear plugs were provided the room! Zero hangers in the bathroom for towels and dressing gown, all had to be placed on the floor whilst in the shower.

• Nadia (9/5): Peaceful minibreak out of the noise of the CBD - Lovely location – it's nice to get out of the noise of the CBD and enjoy nature. The room is comfortable – coffee machine, mini fridge, TV, nice bright bathroom with twin sinks. The balcony is a nice spot to sit and watch the trees and the birds. "River view" is a bit of a stretch, but it was nice enough. There's a lack of vegan options on the estate, except for Sandalford restaurant (where we had a lovely dinner). I asked what the vegan options are for the breakfast, and they listed off the vegetarian options. They eventually said vegan options will be "limited" and didn't disagree when I concluded it's probably not worth it for us. I do enjoy a hotel breakfast when I'm on holiday, so I hope they add vegan options in the future.

• Anthony (5/5): 3 stars at best - I didn’t have the breakfast I think it was either $39 each. Was some more affordable places close by. Maya maya is advertised as a 5 star. Maybe a few years ago it was! The in room facilities are none existent except tea and coffee making. Has a balcony with table and chairs so if you want to eat out there you either have to pay for all the very overpriced stuff they sell or buy something pre-made from the shops down the road. The shower really did need a good cleaning. All around the bottom of the glass was covered in limescale. And I spilled some milk on the floor and when I wiped it up the tissue was rather dirty. I did find going in to the reception a bit like going to the doctors

• Seamus (7/5): Comfortable , great staff and setting but little overpriced for the overall experience - I love the location , the staff where friendly and we really appreciated the beautiful birthday gift that was left in the room as it was my wife birthday, the room was a good size and clean and comfortable Although the room was comfortable and clean I felt it a little over priced for what it was, we had booked the buffet breakfast and again felt it was over priced for the quality of the food and felt if the coffee was included it would of been much better value given we paid an extra $12 on top of the $78 for two, if I stayed again i honestly would pass on the breakfast.

• Elise (7/5): - The location was beautiful, with all of the restaurants and an amazing wine tasting! The layout of the rooms is super unique They’re was quite a lot of mold in our bathroom, above the shower on the roof, all around the bottom of the shower, and shower head had a lot of calcium buildup and in the floor tiles too. The room smelt a bit musty too, maybe a candle would help freshen it up! The in between doors are also quite loud, but nothing you can really fix !
