- ToSquareBob1 (10/5): Best Place in Norwich - There aren't many choices in Norwich and after having stayed at the Holiday Inn (terrible) and the Courtyard (OK), this Hampton inn was a pleasant surprise. Easy to find with a Walmart, gas stations and restaurants close by. Check in was quick and friendly. Room was very large, bright and clean. Large TV with many channels, comfortable bed, good wifi, bright bathroom and everything worked. If back in Norwich, I know where I'll be staying!

- jackies768 (10/5): Very pleasant stay, close to casino, good amenities; would stay again - My daughter & I stayed here as she had an early start for a tournament at Mohegan sun. Price was SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than Mohegan and the hotel is only about 10 minutes drive from the casino. They also have a shuttle which was running even late at night that we did not use. Check in (after 11pm) was super easy. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable beds. Bathroom nice and clean with built in amenities (shampoos, conditioner, body wash). They give a shower cap to use as well, which was super convenient. Air conditioning unit had a "fan" mode which worked well for our white noise requirements. Ice machine was right by elevators and worked! They have a gorgeous pool which is even long enough to do laps (sort of oddly long and narrow) and a lovely hot tub we didn't get to use, as well as a small fitness center. Breakfast was very good - scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, make your own waffle with all kinds of toppings (including chocolate chips), toast, bagels, muffins, oranges, bananas, yogurt, cereal and hot oatmeal. Really something fo everyone. We would absolutely stay here again in heartbeat, right off the highway, easy access to the casino and great amenities.

- Edith (10/5): - I have been to this property quite a few times as I live nearby and I use it as kind of like a spa getaway and I've also brought my grandchildren there for a fun overnight with great breakfast and they appreciate it so much they use their inside voice they get so much joy out of it they love the hot tub and the pool I'm looking forward to bringing them again soon. It's clearly one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in

The room was really nice for this level hotel - well maintained, comfortable, spacious and with a fridge and microwave. We were there for my daughter's cheer competition and really appreciated the extra space and mirror for getting ready and spreading out. The hotel is surrounded by a cemetery which felt strange. Also the bathroom could have been cleaner - there was hair on the wall.

We went for my husbands birthday and they asked if we had a room preference (quiet cemetary side, busy highway side) and if we had a floor preference. I also had balloons and a cake ordered to the hotel and they were able to place it nicely inside of the room! Breakfast was delicious and all of the staff were friendly.

The usual breakfast foods, waffles, mini waffles, eggs, meat, homemade fries, bagels, cereals, yogurt. Having a forced air curtain over the front door would have been spectacular so you did not have to feel the cold air coming inside whenever the door would open. Due to the open concept, cold air pours in the door and it filters into the dining area. it is easier to sit over towards the windows or closer towards the serving area. If you wish to stay warmer also the maids needed to do a better job at checking the lotion and the shampoo in our room as they were both empty. Also, the heat was off when we entered our room. This is the first week of February 2026 and bitter cold temperatures outside. You would think you would have the heat on in order to prevent the pipes from bursting due to it being so cold outside. I can’t complain about being cold in the lobby area considering it was -11 this morning overall it is a great hotel that is very clean modern. The pool is probably one of the biggest pools I have ever seen at a hotel. It has the normal wide section for a shallow area but then it has a lap pool that has to be at least a good 30 feet long. They’re also is a hot tub with a waterfall, which is absolutely beautiful and the water was the perfect temperature. Another thing that I just happened to think of for people to watch is the spacing underneath the heat and AC unit granted our room was on the top floor and it was on average 3° outside this weekend, but cold air poured and underneath the HVAC unit so much so that we wrapped blankets around the bottom to help seal out the cold air

- jodyc187 (10/5): Nice centrally located hotel - Not sure if my original review was published so I'm writing another. I chose this Hampton Inn based on my experience staying there 2-3 years ago and was not disappointed. This is one of the better Hampton Inns. The location just off I-395 makes it easy to get to nearby attractions. The hotel was spotless in all respects. The customer service was excellent, and I interacted with several desk clerks. The pool area is quite large, surprising for a Hampton Inn. The hot tub was properly hot and well maintained. It seems the pool was designed for those who want to swim laps. There was the occasional time where a family used the pool but we had it to ourselves most of the time. I can't speak to how noisy it gets when families are crowding it. The breakfast was good last time but it was even better on this trip. Breakfast was an egg dish, potatoes, a meat, oatmeal, cereals, pastries, and waffles. An enhancement to the last visit was that they had the machine that makes mini-waffles as well as the big ones. There was a flavored mix as well as a plain mix every day. It seemed there are many dining options within a short drive (I ate at my sister's so I didn't hit any of the local places). There's a WalMart and a Big Y grocery quite close as well. The only downside to this hotel is that there's no guest laundry. Even-numbered rooms face the cemetery and are quiet. Odd-numbered rooms face the highway and can be noisy.

- Lucia (10/5): EXCELLENT STAY - The location was great.....right off the highway and close to Mohegan Sun. The room was spacious....had everything we needed....fridge,microwave, ironing board....comfortable bed. Bathroom was bright and clean with a night light. Michelle at the front desk was exceptional!!! She was friendly...always smiling and answered all my questions. The bathroom could have used a fan.

- Patricia (9/5): - Room was clean and very comfortable! Hotel was conveniently located within 5 minutes of the Mohegan Sun Casino. Breakfast Room was very crowded the day we were there (I think there was a wedding party that weekend), so some of the items were not available and the waffle station was a mess. The person in charge did his best to keep up but was not very friendly (as was our server up in the Vermont location).

- Michael (8/5): - Property was well lit when we pulled up as it was dark. Staff was quick and helpful. Only comment is that there were some loud guests on our floor - which was not the hotels fault - however my son with ADHD has a hard time sleeping as is and the noises were distracting.
