• Maureen Roche (2/5): Terrible place dont go there. - Honestly did not like anything. When we entered the building, the elevator wasn't working. The bed had bed bugs. The walls were disgusting with feet and hand stains. The neighbourhood was terrible ... so dodgy. The shower only provided cold water. No one ever available at the reception when i went down to check. And the price for all of that was disgraceful.

• Franka (5/5): - In March 2026, we booked Vatican Release Hotel for our stay in Rome. A week before our arrival, I sent a message to Emanuela asking for information about the self check-in process. She replied that someone would provide us with the information a day or two before our arrival. Since we still hadn’t received any information, I contacted her again a couple of hours before our flight and updated our arrival time in the app. Only then did she respond. She sent us a link with instructions saying that when we arrived, we just needed to ring the bell and someone would open the door for us. We arrived at the hotel at 2 AM, rang the bell, but no one answered. I tried calling Emanuela several times, but she did not respond. In the end, we had to ring random neighbors’ bells until someone finally opened the door for us. If nobody had responded, we would have had to sleep on the street. Apart from that, the bedroom was good and clean.

• Nicola (7/5): Struttura bene organizzata ma con rapporto solo virtuale con affittuario. - Stanza pulita, accesso facile, posizione centrale, edificio tranquillo. Non c’era acqua calda, il condizionatore poteva solo accendersi e spengersi. Nessuno alla reception di mattina.

• Barbora (4/5): - Na bookingu majú napísané že je možnosť priplatiť si raňajky, po ubytovaní sme zistili že raňajky nie sú možné - nemajú tam kuchyňu. Steny sú tak tenké že máte pocit že ste s ostatnými hosťami v jednej miestnosti a k arogantnému personálu sa radšej ani nebudem vyjadrovať. Viac by som sa tam určite nevrátila. Pomer cena a kvalita - úplný fail.

Grimy bathroom and main room in need of a lot of attention - The location was ideal for exploring the area in and around Vatican City We actually didn’t stay at the property and booked other accommodation after about 1 hour at the property. We did this for the following reasons, The room that we were allocated, Room 1, was very round down and was not at all representative of the images provided for a double room. The walls within the sleeping area were scraped and marked and the wallpaper above the bed was peeling off. The bathroom was grotty with black marks throughout the silicone and mould between the tiles. The waterfall shower was twisted in against the wall and when I tried to move this the fixture was very shaky and I didn’t dare move it any further. Within the small balcony facing into the internal surrounded courtyard a large square metal cover fell off as we sat down. This could have hit one of us. It was later revealed by the accommodation host that this was a water pipe access cover. I immediately messaged the accommodation stating that I was not happy at all with the facilities and that we would be leaving. There was good correspondence between myself and the accommodation hosts however all we received was a denial of any and all of our issues with the condition of the room. The mould wasn’t mould. The damage to the walls was acceptable. The metal cover could be replaced (excuse was that it fell off due to high winds. In an inclosed courtyard. Rediculous) I asked for a refund and this was denied.

Initial nu venea deloc calda si apoi am deschis apa la robinetul de la chiuveta ca sa curga si la dus, deci oribil. • Laura (6/5): Habitacion pasable pero con falta de mantenimiento. - La comunicacion con el centro esta bien hay un bus en la misma puerta que te lleva al centro.No esta cerca para ir andando 30 min del vaticano andando y 1 h al centro.La habitacion estaba limpia el baño nuevo.No es un hotel en si ,es un edificio que tiene una planta habilitada para habitaciones .Las indicaciones que mandan son muy sencilas para acceder. No me gusto que antes de ir era imposible comunicarse con ellos si tenia alguna duda hasta uno o dos dias antes que te hablan por watssap para darte las indicaciones .La habitacion que nos toco estaban las paredes llenas de restregones de la maletas y las cortinas medio caidas,se notaba falta de mantenimiento.

• April (3/5): - Room was clean. It is also located in front of the bus station though nearest metro is a bit far but can be able to reach by foot. Your staff in your front desk was rude. She didn't let us finish what we would like to say, does not say Good afternoon, does not even smile. I won't recommend your Hotel because of your staff.
