• Susan (10/5): Ivydene the place to stay - My husband and I stayed at the Ivydene with are two children from 8th-11th August, it's was such a lovely, welcoming place to stay. The room was lovely and clean and there was plenty of room for the 4 of us. The Breakfast choices were fantastic and there was something for everyone. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Perfect location for the beach and amenities. We would highly recommend and definitely be booking again.

Our accommodation was clean and comfortable, we had a great couple of nights sleep, followed by a banging home cooked full English. Well worth what we paid. Can't wait to go back later in the year. There's nothing to not like.

There was also a good selection of evening meals. The room was clean and tidy with comfortable bed, and plenty of tea/coffee/milk, and a sea view. Hosts were excellent. Great location - short walk to shops/bars yet not too close so no noise disturbance.

The owners are amazing and really make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. We love coming to the ivy Dene and will definitely be returning aslong as Claire and kitty are there. Nothing to do with the BnB and Claire and kitty have no control over the weather! Perfect BnB nothing to improve.

The accommodation was spotless, and very comfortable, the breakfast was absolutely delicious and plenty of choice. The hosts were very friendly and could not have been more helpful. • Sally (10/5): Before arrival Claire messaged us just to check our arrival time. We had a warm welcome from her and her mum Kitty. The - Home from home, 2 double rooms within one so had privacy. Cosy & clean. Central to shops and seafront just takes 5 minutes to walk. Although the property doesn’t have a car park we parked close by on one of the side roads free of charge. Not a major issue. It took a little while to get the shower temperature right and maybe requires new shower head.

• Sharon (10/5): This is our 4th stay here,and I recommend it to other people. - We had a beautiful clean and comfortable room,with your own shower and toilet and plenty of towels. Their is a kettle in your room,with plenty of tea/coffee/sugar sachets,and plenty of biscuits. There is a selection of breakfasts to choose from,fried breakfasts,cereals,crumpets,sausage sandwich etc,you can have tea/coffee/fruit juices,and there is always plenty. The Ivydene is a Family run Guest House,and the owners are friendly and helpful. Nothing as everything is spot on.

• Kim (8/5): Comfortable stay - Comfortable beds, comfortable pillows, lights next to bunk beds, plenty of furniture to put belongings in, nice breakfast, stunning dining area intact stunning all way round, kindly stored luggage for us until check in, kindly carried heavy suitcase up the stairs to our room for us. Smelly bedding did speak to host about this bedding was changed straight away but unfortunately it was the quilt itself that smelt but nothing that a bit of fabreeze didn’t fix, didn’t have daily housekeeping like stated in advertising.

• O'brien (8/5): Excellent location, amazing food, and a great night's sleep. - We enjoyed having separate areas within the family room which provided more privacy and the beds were extremely comfortable. The hotel is within walking distance to many attractions, the train and bus stations, and a shopping area within Skegness as well as a local restaurant "Tarantino's" which is highly recommended if you enjoy italian cuisine. We can find very few flaws with the hotel, The Ivydene hotel is a highly recommended stay if you are interested in visiting Skegness.
