Guest Reviews
- Simone (9/5): -
- Ralph (10/5): Great time overall. - Great location. The suite was very nice. No bidet in the best suite.
Sehr in Ordnung.
- Davorka (10/5): Odličan hotel, na dobroj poziciji, vrhunska čistoća, osoblje vrlo ljubazno i susretljivo. - Doručak je odličan, raznovrsna ponuda, odlična kava, ljubazno osoblje u restoranu. Šteta što bazen nema grijanu vodu.
- RUD14ME (6/5): Below Expectations - Below expectations. Booked this hotel through travel agency. It was an upgrade. Small room. Two small beds moved side by side. Unable to sleep cuddling my wife as the beds moved. Bath lacked face cloths, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and counter space.
Positives include location near train and breakfast on canal. Room was clean. Staff friendly.

- annawL7346KV (10/5): Amazing and friendly hotel - I visited this hotel in August 2025 and I would highly recommend as the service I received from the start of my holiday from the reception staff to the restaurant staff was really impressive. Being a solo traveller never did they make me feel uncomfortable. The icing on the cake was that I received an upgrade to to twin room which was surprising and so welcoming. This hotel is in an ideal location as being in the heart of the resort with cafe's, shopping and the beach so close at hand.
From the management to the restaurant Staff this hotel is so well run and has such a friendly atmosphere and the cleanliness is faultless.
- khaibob (10/5): Lovely Hotel Great Location - Have to say this hotel is an absolute gem. Right in the Centre. The beach less than two minutes walk straight across. Bus stop to the back two short roads behind just outside the Asian restaurant. The room we were in was nice and modern. Hotel super clean and staff so friendly. Big shout out for the breakfast staff they were super, great selection for breakfast each day. Definitely recommend and would definitely stay again
- JulesLouA (10/5): The Hotel with the warmest welcome! - The Principe Palace has one huge major downfalll...It makes you forget there's a whole wide world to experience because all you want to do is keep going back there! Warmth and kindness just radiates from Caroline and Max, the owners. You'll feel so welcome. It honestly just feels like going home.
The Hotel has a stunning location looking out over the Piazza Mazzini and is a stone's throw from the beach. The sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach are free in the Hotel's section and I never had an issue finding a space.
There are shops, cafes, bars in abundance within walking distance. All so friendly.
Rooms are beautiful and cleaned to the highest standard every single day. Mine had a gorgeous view of the sunset every evening. The beds are so comfy, I could have slept for England.
Food is incredible, there is so much choice in the restaurant at both breakfast & evening meal. You choose your starter and main the evening before and then appetisers and dessert are buffet style. The staff in there work so hard to make your stay special, you won't find a better team anywhere. Same for the Terrace and Bar outside, they serve the BEST cocktails with the biggest smiles. Just the friendliest bunch!
If you're thinking of booking here, do it now. You'll have the best holiday ever!
- CorkShropslass (10/5): Family run Hotel you'll want to return to. - We arrived late and in our room was a bottle of prosecco and plates of salad which were very appreciated. The location of this hotel is perfect, right on a bustling square to watch the world go by, but the prices in the cafe are very reasonable and lots of Italians hang out there. The food in the restaurant was gorgeous with a huge selection every night. They didn't really need to offer a 'primo' course of pasta as the appetiser selection was amazing including things like shellfish, salads, chicken wings - there was even caviar and oysters one night. It took us a while to realise that you could have sides with your main course - 'secondi' from the buffet. The staff were super friendly which really made the experience lovely.
It was easy enough to go for trips around the Lagoon by buying a bus ticket from the tobacconist across the square then going to Punta Sabbioni and catching a ferry or Vaporetta from there. Great thing to do if the weather isn't great. You can also get bikes for a couple of hours for free at the hotel and cycle up and down the cycle paths around the resort. Sadly, the advertised table tennis table was out of bounds due to the weather, but the bats and balls were pretty useless anyway and the table was squashed into a corner so it would have been very hard to have a game! There are allocated sunbeds and parasols on the beach with changing rooms, toilets and showers. The pool area on the top floor was nice and quiet, but the pools were not heated.
Our room at the front of the hotel was lovely with a balcony overlooking the square where you got the sun all day. It was a bit dated and there was no kettle for coffee, but you got a little fridge to use. The room was cleaned everyday to a high standard. The bed was super comfortable and we slept like logs! Personally I would pick this over a room at the back of the hotel with no sun as it wasn't noisy at all, (although we were on the 4th floor.)
I think for the first time ever I felt quite emotional to be leaving as the experience at this hotel was so kind and personal. I can see why people return all the time!
- ffionr323 (10/5): Excellent hotel - Just returned from a fantastic 5 night stay. Location is perfect, close to a variety of shops and restaurants with easy access to the local bus stop. Beach less than 5 mins walk away and great that the hotel offer free loungers with umbrellas. Plenty of snack bars on the beach to grab a quick lunch & drink. Hotel staff were excellent. Cleaners very friendly and thorough - room was spotless. Restaurant staff were attentive and made sure we were having a great time. Food was good quality and presented nicely. You can help yourself to the salad bar ever night, starter and main is served to you ( which you pre order the night before) and then you also help yourself to dessert. 4 starter options and 4 main options to chose from each night. They also have a section at the back of the menu where they offer ‘classic’ meals if you don’t like anything on the daily menu, examples were grilled chicken, grilled steak etc. It is also worth mentioning that any bottles (wine, water etc) purchased with your evening meal can be carried forward to the next evening so don’t feel like you have to buy one every night - brilliant concept I wish more hotels offered this. Pool area was clean, with plenty of sun loungers available throughout the day. The pool and ‘hot’ tub were absolutely freezing though, so be prepared with your towel when you get out!! Pool bar prices were decent and food portions were generous. Overall, a great hotel that I would highly recommend!
- Engineer350 (10/5): Excellent hotel in a great area - We stopped at this Hotel from the 14th September 2025 to 21st September 2025 booked through Jet2 Holiday half board.
Our first time to Lido de Jesolo and being September was not too busy but the weather was great, there is an abundance of Restaurants and shops, the hotel had its own private beach just a short walk from the hotel, plenty of sunbeds.
We visited Venice just a 45-minute bus ride to the ferry port and 30 minutes on the Ferry, drops you off in the Middle of Venice.
The food, service and staff were great, you are allocated a table for your stay in the Restaurant and choose the next day’s food from a menu the night before, the food was varied and good, thank you to Giovanni for the excellent service and his staff in the Restaurant.
We are a retired couple and have been to Italy twice this year but by far this is the best stay and Holiday we have had this year.
I must say a special thank you to Merica and Julia the two marvelous ladies who cleaned and made up our room every day while we had breakfast.
If I had to single out anything special about this hotel it would have to be the staff and its location in the resort, thank you all for making our holiday so special.
- BiilySwift (10/5): A wonderful hotel - A fabulous hotel with great staff who will do anything to make your stay an enjoyable one. The restaurant is excellent - you won’t find better in the resort.
Special mention to Giovanni and the restaurant staff, particularly April who looked after us so well during our stay
- lisagillman1966 (10/5): Highly recommend - loved it - This hotel has no faults whatsoever
I stayed in room 230. I had been upgraded from a single room to a double and on booking in was given a complimentary bottle of prosecco and Italian sweets.
The room was fab, always cleaned to a high standard.
Food - food was lovely, plenty of choice - dinner is waiter service and you choice your meal the night before. There were two nights which were venetian buffet nights.
The maitreD and waiters could not do enough for you, they were fantastic!
Location - this is a stunning location, the beach is around 5 mins away where you have a private section for the hotel.
I would recommend walking along the beachfront to the lighthouse (about 5km) - there are a lot of seats, toilets and bars along the way.
Trips - Venice is a must. Went to murano and burano as well. Burano is beautiful.
From the hotel you can get a number 5 bus (out of hotel, turn left and then left at roundabout on opposite side of road) to the harbour to pick up boat to Venice.
I would highly recommend this place to stay, this was my first solo holiday and I loved it!

- woodsandshavings (10/5): Hotel principe palace Jesolo - Stayed in this hotel several times always excellent
From first entering it’s a very warm and welcoming .
We upgraded our room this time to piazza front room with a great view overall view of local life & holiday makers .
Food is very good as it is always , so much to choose from at breakfast and evening dinner spoilt for choice .
Giovanni & his team were brilliant as always .
Out big shout out was to Giovanni himself just getting the job done with laughs along the way . April was a perfect waitress to us . But the rest of the team was equally as good . Most we knew from previous visits .
Venetian buffet once a week again so much to choose from .
We didn’t try the pool area as the beach and sun loungers were great for us .
- F7906SDmargaretn (10/5): July Holiday in the Sun - Always nice going back to the Hotel Principe Palace, had a great time and everyone in the staff is so lovely and ever so helpful. Also nice to see regular faces and also meet new people as well
- X4715AEjennyh (10/5): Will definitely return - This was a fantastic hotel, the staff were excellent and extremely friendly and helpful. The location was great and the food was brilliant. I am a coeliac and have to have a gluten free diet, this was well catered for and nothing was too much trouble for Giovanni and his staff in the restaurant. It was lovely to see Max the owner and he was very happy to give advice on where to go and what to see and the best way to get there. We will definitely return.
- R3087CWsarahe (10/5): A Fantastic Hotel With Incredible Staff - We came 7 years ago to Lido de Jesolo and it’s just an incredible place if you want a lively Italian resort. Lovely restaurants and shops. But the beauty lies in having a beach resort with a bus and boat to Venice. Great for families that get bored with sunbathing every day. So much to do (i have a 17 year old!) in the area.
I booked this with TUI (never again) and chose this hotel from the reviews on this site. I’d never seen a review where everyone said how incredible the staff were.
The only negative was booking with Tui and the room assigned. It wasn’t great. I upgraded immediately (direct with the hotel) for a reasonable price and the room was incredible. It was late, and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel left a gorgeous platter of food and prosecco as we got in so late which was a gorgeous touch.
The reviews here don’t lie, the staff make the hotel, from the moment you walk in you are treated beautifully.
I couldn’t end without mentioning the restaurant, food and staff. Firstly, I have never read a review naming a maitre d! There is a reason, Giovanni is lovely and his attention to detail is faultless.
The staff are genuinely friendly and caring.
As vegetarians, there was a wealth of choice and the food itself was incredible.
I’ve never written a review whilst I’m still on holiday but this hotel is something special and I understand why so many guests are returning guests!
- Detone (9/5): - Colazione buonissima e molto varia tra dolce e salato. Stanza pulitissima e molto rifornita.
- Giulia (8/5): -
- windchime47 (10/5): Very enjoyable relaxing holiday with trips to Venice. - Just back from 2 weeks here. This hotel is very central. Ideal for the beach and all the shops and restaurants. Buses to Venice leave from the top of the road, tickets can be bought from the Tabacci.
The hotel itself is very clean with maid service every day. The restaurant is well organised by Giovanni and the staff are very attentive.
A buffet breakfast beyond compare, many different types of food and plenty of it.
If you like fish then you will love it here.
Dinner again starts with a massive buffet and you choose your meal for the following day which is served by the staff.
There are sunbeds allocated for the hotel
on the beach and there is a rooftop pool with sunbeds. Also a bar for drinks and food up there.
I cannot fault anything about this holiday all the staff were friendly and helpful.
- Stefano (9/5): -
- georgiet499 (10/5): Fabulous stay at end of July - We have just returned from a weeks holiday here, as a family of four (children aged 10 and 19).
We arrived a little earlier than check-in time but our rooms were ready. The rooms are were well equipped. Ours were at the back of the hotel - we booked standard. Although the area is busy until late into the night, once you close the balcony door, you can't hear anything. I'm a notoriously light sleeper, but I think I slept the best here of anywhere we have stayed! There are no tea/coffee making facilities in rooms (which we knew prior), but this gave a nice opportunity to sit outside downstairs each morning with a coffee, looking out onto the Piazza. Rooms cleaned/towel change daily. In fact, the whole hotel is cleaned to a very high standard!
The rooftop pool area was nice, serving delicious cocktails/snacks. We only spent a small portion of the first day up there. We did try a second time,
however there were no beds. Many empty ones with towels on though. A little frustrating but we preferred the beach anyway.
The beach is less than 5 minutes walk away, and beds/parasols are included with your room. We never struggled to get a spot, even when arriving after 11. The water is shallow for a long way out, there are showers and toilets (squat style). There is a shop on the way for drinks, as well as a Pizza place where we would buy these at lunch and take back to the beach.
The resturant was fantastic - very attentive and friendly staff. Breakfast was great, a lovely selection of hot/cold/pastries. Dinner was delicious, so much so that we only opted to eat out one night. Funnily enough, the dish I had that evening out was on the menu the following night, and it was better at the hotel! You choose your starter and main the evening before, with an antipasti buffet (HUGE selection) when you arrive, and a dessert table after. One Wednesday night's, dinner is buffet style where all the chefs are out. It was delicious!
Our evenings were spent downstairs at Cafe Principe or strolling around the area, shopping, watching street performers or getting ice-cream. Try Mucca Mia, so many flavours/toppings. It's self serve and weighed at the end.. Kids loved it, as did we. The area is Pedestrianised at night, and everyone is out late into the evening.
We went to Venice for a day, bus stop is 2 streets behind the hotel, on opposite side of the road. Take number 5/23 to Punta Sabbioni, then water taxi to Venice from there. I think the bust tickets were €7 each return, then water taxi bought at Punta Sabbioni €19 return each. We went on a lovely Gondola ride too.
We also spent a day at Caribe Bay water park, which was amazing. Pools of various depths, so many rides and the tallest water slide in Europe (probably the best one we've been to!). We walked there and back, which took around 15 mins a journey. This was quite a pricey day out, but it was the kids favourite day so well worth it.
All in all, fabulous holiday and would definitely stay again!
- 281PeterS (10/5): The best so far - Just got back from a wonderful week at Hotel Principe Palace
We have been coming here for many years and i must say that this year has been one of the best
Alot of this is down to the exceptional staff, from Giovanni,Omar,April,Lindon and Abdul in the restaurant to the magnificent pool bar team Dori,James and Tommy and not forgetting the superb cleaning team, everyone was so polite and friendly, nothing was ever too much trouble, the food was excellent and always served with a smile, rooms were cleaned every day and to a very high standard
Max the owner was always around making sure you was being looked after and making your stay as pleasent as possible, overall this year has been the best so far and all the staff need to be kept as they really are a wonderful bunch of people, all very professional in what they do,each and everyone of them
If you want a great holiday in Italy then this is the place to stay, trust me you wont regrett it
Ottima posizione ottima colazione . Personale molto gentile e disponibile .
- ianp981 (10/5): Excellent in so many ways - flawed in just one - We decided to return to Principe Palace as we had a discount with TUI and we were glad we did.
This year we had a room at the back of the hotel (323), which was quieter than the ones overlooking the main square and a little more modern - these have UK/Ireland plugs, direct USB ports etc. The rooms are not huge, it must be said, but we managed ok and enjoyed the balcony. I found the bed particularly comfortable.
One massive benefit this year is the return of Giovanni as maitre d’. He is not just a committed professional but also just a thoroughly decent man who clearly cares about the guests. We saw him going out of his way to help others on several occasions, and he also got us a better table. I sincerely hope the hotel can keep him, as he really does make the dining a much better experience. All the staff were very good, of course, and a special word to the cleaning staff - they were exceptional.
We found the food in the bars a little too expensive, to be honest, but it is easy to get some fresh bread locally and make a sandwich for lunch.
The hotel offers two nights of its own signing entertainment. That is good, though we noted it was the same singer and a similar repertoire - not an issue for us, but it meant it was worth exploring other places too. There is also often entertainment in the square itself (as noted last year, keep this in mind re room choice as you may prefer this and you may not!)
There was one significant disappointment. I haven’t marked the hotel down for it as the truth is we hadn’t initially intended to try the buffet at all, as we had gone to the islands that day (Wednesday). However, we came back earlier than planned, and so we thought we would try it. To be blunt, we wished we hadn’t; it was essentially a carvery and that meant it seemed some distance from the typically Venetian cuisine we may expect. Worse still, there really were no serious vegetarian options beyond soup, and that is criminal in 2025. Characteristically Giovanni tried to help and offered to get the chef to make something else, and no doubt that was sincere, but frankly the selection should have been broader and vegetarian-friendlier without needing to ask for special treatment. We left and ate at a superb nearby restaurant, but the point of half-board is we shouldn’t have to do that. I hope the hotel will take this constructive criticism as intended, because we had had a superb stay until this point, and such a poor experience jarred with everything else on offer during our stay.
That aside, standards at the hotel are being maintained to a very high standard. I would repeat that the location is exceptional too.
- john_perratt (10/5): Fantastic hotel in Lido - Just returned from 11 nights here. Amazing hotel…can’t fault it. The food in the restaurant was exceptional with a varied menu. Staff couldn’t have been nicer or more efficient. Pool area always spotless and the pool bar was an added bonus. Just be aware though the pool bar does close at lunchtime! We had a room with balcony at the front which was cleaned each day. Only downside of being at the front is the Piazza can get a bit ‘lively’ in the evenings. Overall a great holiday.
- 270maireadm (10/5): - Home now after a fabulous fortnight at the Principe Palace - Our absolute favourite place to stay in Italy, we have been many times and always had a wonderful holiday. We were 3 generations and we all thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful hospitality at this top notch hotel. Max and his staff are so friendly and welcoming; Giovanni and his team in the restaurant were so attentive to us and the food was amazing! We had lovely bedrooms that were cleaned every day to a very high standard. We had lunches every day at the pool bar - an extensive menu that we all enjoyed! We spent evenings in the downstairs terrace bar watching the lively piazza in front of us and looked after by the wonderful Steffi and her efficient team. Highly recommend this paradise!
- MarkcM2015 (10/5): Great to return to Principe Palace - Have stayed a number of times at this hotel but first since Covid pandemic but nothing that kept us going back has changed. The food and service in the restaurant and pool bar is still excellent - in fact the staff seem friendlier than ever as are the housekeeping staff who keep the rooms immaculate. The three of us stayed in a suite overlooking the square for the entertainment value - which was a modern suite and probably originally 2 rooms converted so plenty of room for us. The pool wasn’t too busy when we were there and always availability on the beach in the hotels own area.
- E7225JNmarkw (10/5): Excellent staff, food and location - I’ve stayed in many 5 star hotels across the globe and never have we experienced such a level of attention from staff. All excellent from reception, cleaning and serving. The food is the best ever with some amazing choices - to be chosen the day prior. A special mention for the maitrede who commands his staff by leading from the front and is genuinely one of the happiest people on the planet, guiding his staff like a fine conductor directs the best orchestra. Yes the room are a little tired - need better hairdryers and usb for charging but your not on holiday to bother with these- the experience and venue is enough. Always something happening in lido de Jeselo, I would never stay in Venice itself as this offers the beach holiday with Venice a boat ride away. Just 10/10 we will be back.
- susancF7046LF (10/5): The Hotel Principe Palace, the Gem in Lido de Jesolo, 70% of people were returns. - People return to this hotel, the reason is very clear it is a great hotel. If you book direct or go with a travel company your experience will be the same, fantastic, thanks to Barbara and her team. The management and staff are all very approachable and will give you help if ever you need it.
The restaurant is really well run by Giovanni and his staff, and the food is varied and really good, on Wednesday it is Italian buffet night, you can try a variety of local foods including the famous Venetian dish of liver, onions and pimentos, on the other nights your starter and main courses are served to you, of the 14 nights we stayed I had a different starter and main every night.
The location of the hotel in the Piazza Mazzini makes it very easy to get to Venice using the local transport, 30 mins on the no. 5 bus to Punta Sabbioni and a short trip on a ferry, landing near Saint Marks Square. You are a very short walk to many bars and restaurants either side of the hotel. The hotel has a fantastic pool with a smaller jacuzzi pool and a pool bar that serves a variety of drinks, snacks and meals. The rooms vary in size and you can book front or rear balcony rooms, some have been redecorated others are still waiting, but all are very comfortable and are decorated in typical Italian style. We booked a rear room that was very quiet and had a lovely balcony.
The downstairs café/bar is relaxed and very comfortable, you can get any drink including cocktails and a variety of the famous Aperol Spritz drink, again served and made by a great bar crew including the fantastic Steffy. On Wednesdays there is a great singer performing at the hotel.
I cannot recommend this hotel more highly, the only trouble with doing so will make it harder for us to return again.

- HOUSEOFFLEMINGS (8/5): Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Staff really friendly and make your stay extra special. - Beautiful hotel! Deluxe room a must as other rooms in need of refurbishment in particular the bathrooms as showered cubicle too small for a rounder figure.
Staff very friendly especially the restaurant and front or house bar staff.
Food is amazing!
Pool-area clean! But sadly we had the experience of SUNBED WARS for our last couple of days as hotel has started to get busy.
Fabulous central location, lots of restaurants, bars and shops. If you just want to sit and relax the hotel lobby has outside and inside seating.
Beach beautiful and plenty of beds for everyone.
We visited Venice easily on our own:
Buy ticket from the tobacconist just outside the hotel:
Bus 5 just outside the back of the hotel:
Boat ticket, you buy at the port :
We will return to this little gem x
- michelle_driver1 (10/5): A must go to Hotel Vest in Jeslo - The hotel is beautiful, food is the best Iv ever had real good quality.
Close to the beach. Local shops and a water taxi away from Venice City
The staff here feel like family. Very helpful and friendly
Oh and the Cocktails and Aperol Spritz are the best.
- ruthtQ8934QQ (10/5): Great hotel in good location to explore and visit other places - Great hotel in good location to explore the local area with easy access to the port for vaporetta to Venice and Murano.
Beach and promenade 5-10 minutes walk.
Hotel staff and service great.
Food good.
We stayed in room 505 Deluxe room with Balcony Piazza facing - Half Board and also had sea view.
- Riddler6 (10/5): Owner of the Hotel is so friendly which made our holiday !! - Great Hotel with brilliant friendly staff who can't do enough for you. Good food served by Geovanni and his wonderful staff. Omer, Abdul and Lindon gave us a great welcome each meal time. From the Reception to the cleaners were all so friendly.
For people that require a quieter room I would suggest the rooms at the rear of the hotel as the piazza can be noisy, especially on a weekend. Very comfortable beds and nice room deco (we upgraded at reception for the Tea making facilities. Cheaper than Jet2 upgrade)
- Elly (10/5): - We stayed here for 4 nights and will definitely be back. Service was brilliant, staff were very welcoming and attentive. Thank you!
- B2817VXjaniceg (6/5): Lovely staff but poor facilities - The service is excellent ,however room facilities is outdated.Aircon isn't working or cooling, awful smells coming from the toilet although it was cleaned everyday.I spoke to the receptionist regarding the Aircon in my room ,she said Aircon in operation between June and September only .We arrived 30th of May at the hotel.I told her we have a small child he couldn't sleep as the temperature in our room is warm, she replied that she can't do anything .I'm really disappointed as I paid a lot of money for a family holiday.
The hotel restaurant staff are really kind and helpful ,they are all credit to the company.Food in the restaurant is good ,plenty of choice ,however I recommend to enhance the dinner menu ,add healthy options for side dish instead of chips Management should focus for the comfort of your guest in the room where they can able to relax and sleep .I stayed in 3 star hotel in different places but the Aircon is in good condition.
- Guide38750000402 (10/5): Superb week in Lido De Jesolo - I have been so impressed with this hotel . First time here ,but won't be the last.
The hotel is very clean and feels like a luxury hotel. I was so surprised at the quality and variety of food . everything from oysters to beautiful salads and meat and fish. at dinner there is a huge buffet followed by 3 course meal served at the table (will definitely have to diet this week). breakfast is equally excellent with choices for whatever your tastes are .
Lastly and not least, all the staff are very helpful ,But i want to mention Giovanni the restaurant manager and all the staff in the restaurant . The service was impeccable and friendly. looking forward to visiting next year again.
- BigJeffo (10/5): Great hotel location was ideal - We visited with friends to the principe princess hotel in lido di jesolo for the first
Time., it's won't be the last
The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. They made a fuss of my wife's and friends birthday.
The rooms are comfortable and spotless
Food in restaurant was very nice plenty of choice for everyone
- BlackpoolChris1969 (10/5): Fabolous Hotel - WOW, What a hotel, from checking in to checking out, everything was a breeze.
The location of the hotel was spot on and the staff were amazing, especially in the restaurant, which incidentally, served probably the best hotel meals I've ever had, could not fault a thing. Would reccomend 100%. You will not be disappointed.
- wimpietrail (8/5): An experience we don't regret - Well situated hotel near de beach and a long street with shops and restaurants. rooms are clean with a good AC, the bathroom was a little outdated and it took some time to get warm water. the service is Ok and in case of complains there is a quick follow up and problems were solved. The breakfast is excellent. most of the staff is very service oriented. In spite of some remarks we would go there again.
- Leese321 (8/5): Central to Lido di Jesolo - We spent 1 week here in Mid-September half board. WiFi poor in room but fine in other places of the hotel.
Hotel clean and tidy. Bedroom small but fine for the week. We had balcony overlooking the Piazza Mazinni. Hire of bikes are free and can use for 3 hours but need to confirm with receptionist for this.
Food ok in the hotel but was occasionally basic/cold. Menu given day before to pick what you want to eat following day. But there’s also self service for salad, fruit, deserts as well as main dinner meal. Same breakfast time.
Central location. Supermarket 2 streets behind the hotel - sell cheap items. The bus stop 1 street behind the hotel. Jesolo bus station - number 3. Venice bus number 5 then need boat across. Can purchase bus/boat in tobacco shop on the main road which costs around 22 euro.
Restaurant Staff gave excellent service and work hard especially Liridon , Francesco, Aba , Omar and Restaurant Manager Salvadore - big thank you to you all for being so helpful and friendly. Also, cleanliness of room and hard working Maria - Mieriem.
- victoriawZ7766BA (10/5): Hotel principe Palace/ Lido de Jesolo - My husband and I stayed from 12/09- 19/09 . We thought that hotel was amazing, our room was lovely apart from the bathroom which was outdated but we didn’t complain.
The management and staff couldn’t do enough for us and they all were very welcoming.
The hotel was by all the shops so we didn’t have to go far . Do to the weather we couldn’t go on the beach . Food and drinks were good also .
We will be back next year probably in August .
- JulesLouA (10/5): Absolute gem of a hotel! - Where to start with this fabulous hotel?! It has an ideal location on the Piazza Giuseppe Mazzini. It's a short walk to the most beautiful beach where sunbeds and a parasol are free for hotel guests. The promenade is flat and perfect for early morning walks before breakfast. The hotel also has a stunning roof terrace with beds and a pool to relax
The rooms are beautiful. A fridge and safe are included at no extra cost. They are spotlessly clean. Huge shout out to the maid service who do a wonderful job making this happen.
The hotel restaurant is beautiful with a great choice of food. Breakfast includes juices, pastries, cereals, plenty of fresh fruit, breads, pancakes, waffles, hot food and my personal favourite, the omelettes made to order by the chef! All delicious. The evening meal is 4 courses, an appetiser buffet, a primi and secondi (which you choose the evening before) and then a range of desserts and ice creams. Everything we had was delicious. You get the same table for all meals and are allocated waiters, ours were just great!
The hotel also boasts a gorgeous bar with fabulous cocktails. Drink prices are really reasonable and the service is great.
The reception team are so friendly and helpful with any queries.
There are numerous shops, cafes, ice cream shops, restaurants and bars around the hotel too. Aperol Spritz is incredibly cheap here and comes served with free crisps and nuts, Manchester needs to adopt this approach!! We played the mini golf opposite the hotel which I would highly recommend. It was 7 euros for 18 holes.
Nothing is too much trouble for anyone that works at this hotel. They are all go the extra mile. Such a friendly bunch of people. They even tried to get the Liverpool v Milan game on their huge screen for us. And when they couldn't, directed us to a pub that would be showing it.
The management are so lovely and are a visible presence around the hotel, especially in the evening. Max is incredibly helpful and friendly. Caroline has a genuine warmth about her, alongside a fab sense of humour, meaning guests are drawn to her. She's an absolute pleasure to chat to of an evening.
All in all, a gem of a hotel and up there with one of the best places I've stayed. The best compliment I can give is I'm already booking for next year!
- Lyndylooper (6/5): Good spot for a couple or people with young families - Comfortable room and spotlessly clean, if a little small. Nice and quiet which suited us. Complimentary sparkling wine upon arrival which was a nice touch.
Fridge in the room was a decent size, but the hairdryer wasn't great.
The buffet in the restaurant is excellent with a huge selection of local fish, salads and meats which varied each night. We were on a package so we had dinner included which was, in the main very good although the first night the risotto was very poor. Pasta and other meals throughout the week were amazing though.
You need to choose your primi and secondi the night before, for the following night, which is a little odd in a hotel that size I thought, but not a problem.
I would say avoid the white wine in the restaurant (very hit and miss - two glasses out of three tasted corked to me) but the prosecco and red wine were absolutely fine.
Really nice rooftop bar at the pool - when we visited the weather was not great so it was quiet, but from speaking to other guests it can get very busy in peak times. Snacks, Beers and wines all similar prices to other places in the area (€4 wine, €5 beer)
Service all round was very good, better at the pool bar than the café bar but probably due to it being quieter. Service in the restaurant was excellent with very friendly staff.
People return here year after year and I can understand why.
- Jennywhit95 (10/5): Wonderful stay - What a fantastic hotel! , stayed for 4 nights and everything was exceptional. All staff were brilliant and went above and beyond for our stay, esp the restaurant staff always so helpful. Pool area is small but never any trouble getting a sunbed.
Will def be back, thankyou all for a wonderful stay.
- louloumckay78 (10/5): Lovely traditional hotel, immaculate throughout with an outstanding restaurant and staff. Good location - A traditional hotel situated on a lively square. We had a lovely comfortable room at the back of the hotel so weren’t affected by noise from the square. We had an updated room which was modern and functional , lovely modern en-suite. We had selected a deluxe room when booking. We had space for two suitcases , drawers and two wardrobes with normal hangars. Kettle is provided along with a decent fridge. The room has good aircon , a Hairdryer , dressing gowns and slippers. There is a small safe that was free to use. You need your own towels for the pool and beach.
All areas of the hotel were immaculate, some rooms are more traditional than others. The restaurant overlooks the square and is on the 4th floor - it was calm and peaceful away from the square but you could still see what was going on.
All staff were friendly and helpful but Salvatore and his staff in the restaurant were a step above with their service and beautiful welcome each day. We were half board and this is by far the best hotel we have stayed in with the freshest food and amazing choice - everyone is catered for including a good range of gluten free , milk alternatives etc. The amount of fresh fruit available , the choice of antipasto and desserts would have been enough for us but you also had two dishes that you pre-ordered for your evening meal - again huge amount of choice. The omelette chef on a morning told us he had joined the hotel in April along with 3 other chefs.
The hotel is located close to the main bus route to Punto Sabionne ( number 5 ) it is easy to get about by bus and to Venice from the port.
The pool area is lovely and the bar staff were very attentive and helpful, the snack bar is only open 12 to 3 and we arrived on our first day after 4pm - they did offer to see if the kitchen could provide something and supplied plenty of crisps and nuts with our drinks to keep us going till dinner.
There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby but we enjoyed sitting downstairs after our evening meal to people watch with a cocktail or two - again the bar staff were friendly and attentive.
The beach is close by and the hotel has its own sun-beds and parasols free of charge for guests - we didn’t use this and stayed by the pool.
A really enjoyable stay and relaxing holiday.
- 788haydens (10/5): Amazing hotel amazing staff - Amazing hotel, staff & location. Perfect location for beach & main street. Easy access to Venice using local transport links. Swimming pool located on the roof super chilled space great for relaxing in-between sightseeing. Special mention for hotel manager Max lovely guy attentive & friendly, Salvatore & his restaurant team nothing to much trouble kindly helped us with two birthday celebrations during our visit. Thank you for helping to make our holiday such a special one we'll be back.
- joanneclinch (10/5): Lovely, relaxing holiday. - We had an amazing holiday at the Principe Palace. The location was excellent and right at the heart of the resort. You are 5 minutes away from the beach or you can use the roof top pool which is lovely. The hotel is very clean and all the staff are lovely. The food was very good and the restaurant staff can't do enough for you. We really enjoyed the food and will definitely return there again
- nicholad443 (10/5): Beautiful hotel, very clean, fantastic service - Meals were exceptional, so much choice. We went half board expecting to go out every other night but only went out once as the menu kept us coming back for more.
The staff everywhere were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you.
Hotel is so clean, and has a laid back terrace area where you can relax and people watch.
Lido de Jesolo is busy but not rowdy, and is a nice safe environment for families.
Will we be back? Definitely, but maybe when it is a little less busy.
A trip to Venice is a must, it’s worth the travel.
- 983niamhs (10/5): Amazing - The best hotel, have ever been to, staff are lovely and attentive from the cleaning staff to management. It was my cousins and sister birthday whilst on holiday and the hotel staff made extra special arrangements for them both. The hotel is clean and beds are comfy, bar is fab, restaurant is amazing and pool and pool is lovely. Would recommend to anyone!
- liamhQ6106WA (10/5): 5/5 WOULD GO - 5/5 hotel, quality food lots of options, good pool temp for people who Don’t like it cold. Staff are very nice reception is helpful same as the rep there. At the restaurant the staff were helpful and respectful to all customers. The room I stayed in, although we didn’t have the best view the room was still good and had a nice balcony on it. Not even a 5 minute walk to go from the beach to the hotel. You can also walk down the roads nearby with lots of nice shops. Behind the back is a place where you can rent some pedal bikes or scooters. Nice little bar you can order a drink from. Overall if you are a parent with kids or even older it would be a nice place to go and I recommend you visit. Thank you hotel principe palace for the nice stay 👍🏻
- Brigitte (9/5): Perfect location - very nice hotel. - Nice swimming pool, free beach access and secure parking. Best vitello tonato in town! .
- Silvia (8/5): Very good - we had a good experience hotel was clean, staff very friendly, food very good. I didn’t like the fact we needed to remove the car the check out day and pay for another car park for the half day we stayed at the beach. the car park was empty and the car wasn’t taking anyone spot.
Also the bed was confortable but the pillow not so much!
- Markos (8/5): Very good -
- Anne (10/5): Had a brilliant time - There was a lot of choice for breakfast and I believe it is in the best location in Ludo. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The pool was spotless and the pool bar was great value for money. The maid service was excellent Nothing
- Sarah-jane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alison (10/5): A stunning hotel and such a perfect setting with really friendly staff! - The hotel is exceptional, the staff are all very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel special.
The rooftop area is big, consists of a bar, with really reasonably priced drinks, a massive pool and hot tub with bubbly cool water in.
The hotel is perfectly placed in the centre of the town. 5 minute walk to the beach with its own free sunbeds.
The room we had was very modern and had a balcony too. perfect!!
We only had breakfast here, it was delicious! so much choice of continental and cooked items.
lovely area at the front to sit at night and chat, or people watch.
The hotel is spotlessly clean and very classy.
if I was coming to Lido again (hopefully next year!) I wouldn’t book anywhere else to stay but here!!!
thanks Caroline and all your staff! I loved it all. A perfect place to stay
- Willi (9/5): it was a pleasure and we will be back in this Hotel - breakfast and Hotel location were great
- Laura (9/5): Superb -
- Dan (8/5): - God beliggenhed, lækker morgenbuffet, mangler mulighed for opladning af bil
Colazione varia e servizio ottimo.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Hotel storico in posizione centrale.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wie immer Top! Super zentral sauber und gute frühstückangebot
- Mattia (10/5): - Struttura stupenda,personale educato e preparato. Servizi ottimi e puliti
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Hotel in ottima posizione, ottimo rapporto qualità/ prezzo, servizio disponibilissimo.
- Katrine (10/5): Molto bene - Posizione ottima in piazza Mazzini. Parcheggio incluso. Servizi buoni spiaggia e piscina. Stanza un po’ datata. Servizio
Torneremo volentieri.
- Giulio (10/5): - Comodissimo piscina stupenda e cameriere super simpatico. Ottimo
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Sehr nettes zuvorkommendes Personal
Ideal für ein paar Tage
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Sehr zentral, super frühstück, Pool und dachterasse traumhaft
Guter Service, freundliches Personal, Hammer Lage, sehr zu empfehlen.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Posizione favolosa
Personale impeccabile, molto disponibile e gradevole
Struttura pulitissima e camera spaziosa.
- FRANCO (10/5): MERITA SOGGIORNARE - E STATA UNA BUONA ESPERIENZA TUTTO IL PERSONALE GENTILE E PREMUROSO
STRUTTURA ECCELENTE NONOSTANTE L'ETA'
RISTORANTE E BUFFET DI OTTIMA QUALITA
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Camere ben insonorizzate. Top la piscina sul tetto.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Top!
- Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter
Sauberes Zimmer
Umfangreiches Frühstück
- Toninho61 (8/5): Albergo in posizione strategica - Personale molto gentile e disponibile, ambienti puliti
