Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The best thing about the property was the views and location. I think a little more TLC and attention to details could be put into cleaning and maintaining the rooms. Not sure it’s worth the $160 a night.
- M+A (8/5): - The view of the lake was amazing from our room. I loved our room. however, the balcony was covered with spiders and spider webs. eek! Jacuzzi could have been better. drain stopper was broke and hair came out floating in the water. EEEEEK!
- Jon (10/5): - The view and ability to walk to restaurant was great. Checkin was super easy. Location was easy to interstate and quick to several places
- Verified traveler (10/5): July 4th 2019 - Stayed here with our two kids for the 4th of July and was pleasantly surprised when we walked in. It was bigger than we were expecting. Usually sofa sleepers aren’t that comfortable, but this one was wasn’t bad at all!
The provided toiletries were really nice and well thought out. Nice to have a keurig machine in the room for coffee.
Only thing to mention is to make sure the shower curtain is completely covering the wall because the water goes right under the bathroom door and into the main part of the condo, which is super slippery on the glazed concrete floors, but other than that it really was a nice stay!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Cleanses, restaurant, nice size rooms, great staff, really nice view and very convenient.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great Lake view. Spacious bedroom and well appointed bathroom. Nice balconies
- Verified traveler (10/5): This is how to stay in East Tennessee! - The room and location was so nice! My little one LOVED watching the boats on the lake. I had actually just spent a week in a terrible cabin rental in the Smoky's, so coming to this beautiful and clean room was a dream come true!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Friendly staff and peaceful setting. Clean and affordable
- Verified traveler (6/5): - This resort is basically shut down during the winter. No working ice or vending machines. Never interacted with anyone from the property. The office was always closed. Transactions were completed via email.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - We arrived after hours and found our room keys (we rented 2 rooms) in the mailbox as directed. Had trouble finding our rooms because it was dark and the room number was hard to locate and there is no hotel identification on the building. Stains on carpet and chairs were off putting but bed and bathroom were clean. Curtain rod falling off of wall in one room. TV had a zillion channels but needs a manual to operate.
- Amy (10/5): Will be back! Great condo and location! - Loved our condo! It was quiet and over looked Lake Douglas. The restaurant was within walking distance and had amazing food! If you’re looking for something on the outskirts of Pigeon Forge, The Point Resort is just what you’re looking for!
- Christine (10/5): Will be back - Very nice clean room.
Comfortable beds
Restaurant on site was fantastic
We would come back. Just far enough away from the crowd for enjoying the fall colors.
- Terry (10/5): - a little pricey but a nice place with a great bar and restaurant
- Holly (10/5): =) - Great, relaxing stay!
- Mary (10/5): Grandparents weekend - This was a last minute and we a glad we booked. Room was nice and clean. Right on the lake, it was quite, peaceful and beautiful. Can’t wait to stay there again.
- jon (8/5): Lake view respite.... - nice private small m/hotel overlooking the lake, so i think all rooms have a lake view. would have preferred being on second floor, but otherwise all ok. nice restaurant next door so one does not need to go elsewhere. great place to launch your water craft. downtown a 1/4 ml. away with nice coffee shop.
- Tony (10/5): - Great views and clean room
- Sheri (8/5): Comfortable accommodations - Nice place on the water with nice restaurant next door. We ordered the special, and it was not the greatest for the price. The room was set up nicley and was comfortable. Nice view. Not much around. Lake was down 40ft for winter, that was an unexpected bummer. Was wanting to fish off the bank but couldnt.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Maybe good for a couple getaway, but not a Hotel! - As other reviews mentioned. know what this place is.
It is NOT a hotel. It is very simple and very low key. all it is is a building with rooms in it. No hotel facilities, no staff, absolutely nothing other then just a room with a bed.
The one staff they do have leaves after 3PM (yes, 3PM), and no one else is available after that.
The room is basically a bed and TV, with a bathroom of course. The light in the room is so poor, we needed to use our phone's light to look for things (seriously!).
Again, if all you want is a roof over your head and a bed, this will do. if you expect anything more, find a hotel.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - No lights on in the building when we arrived. Pitch black and very uninviting. No staff available had to get restaurant staff to help. No housekeeping except to replace towels. Terrible mattresses. Overpriced for what we got.
