• Tomaž (10/5): Perfect Sicilian stay - The best thing about this property is its manager, Michelangelo. He goes on and beyond to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable- securing the parking, restaurant suggestions, sightseeing advice etc. Secondly the location of this property could not be better- just a few steps away from the main square. Acireale is a magical town and the best starting point to discover Etna, Taormina, Catania. We loved a breakfast arrangement of this property- you can choose between three local places to grab a typical Sicilian breakfast. The room was very spacious and clean with great bathroom- it was the best find in Sicilia.

• Tinatin (10/5): - Ich hatte das Vergnügen, acht Tage in diesem Hotel auf Sizilien zu verbringen und kann es wirklich nur weiterempfehlen. Das Hotel ist sehr geschmackvoll und freundlich eingerichtet, sodass man sich direkt wohlfühlt. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist die Sauberkeit – es war jederzeit alles top gepflegt. Das Personal hat täglich nachgefragt, ob das Zimmer gereinigt werden soll, und auf Wunsch gab es jeden Tag frische Handtücher, was ich als sehr aufmerksam empfunden habe. Das absolute Highlight unseres Aufenthalts war jedoch der Hotelmanager Michelangelo. Er hat sich außergewöhnlich viel Mühe gegeben, unseren Urlaub so schön wie möglich zu gestalten. Jeden Morgen hat er uns Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben, uns über das aktuelle Wetter informiert und tolle Empfehlungen ausgesprochen. Darüber hinaus hat er uns sogar persönlich zum Bahnhof gefahren – ein Service, der wirklich nicht selbstverständlich ist. Michelangelo ist nicht nur unglaublich hilfsbereit, sondern auch ein sehr sympathischer Mensch, mit dem man sich hervorragend unterhalten kann. Seine offene Art und seine Begeisterung – unter anderem auch für Fußball – haben unseren Aufenthalt noch einmal besonders gemacht. Insgesamt war es ein rundum gelungener Urlaub, zu dem dieses Hotel einen großen Beitrag geleistet hat. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen! Ma il vero valore aggiunto del soggiorno è stato senza dubbio il gestore, Michelangelo. Una persona estremamente cordiale, gentile e disponibile: ci ha facilitato il weekend sotto ogni punto di vista, rendendolo ancora più perfetto. Fin dal nostro arrivo ci ha mostrato con attenzione tutto ciò che c’era nei dintorni, consigliandoci posti dove mangiare e cosa vedere, sempre con grande disponibilità. È stato davvero indispensabile per la riuscita di questo weekend e ci ha fatto sentire accolti e seguiti come raramente capita. Consigliatissimo. Ritorneremo

Deux chambres sont réunies pour accueillir une famille de quatre personnes et sont immenses. Michelangelo est l'ange gardien de ses hôtes et a un sens impressionnant de l'accueil. Vous pourrez prendre votre petit-déjeuner à proximité dans des bars ou une pâtisserie, qui travaillent en partenariat avec la rezidenza. Si vous avez une voiture, un place de stationnement est possible à proximité. Manque de rangements dans la salle-d'eau.

ZTL, Parkplatz, gesperrte Straßen sind kein Problem, regelt er mit der Polizia. Zum Frühstück ein Gutschein mit der Auswahl von 3 verschiedenen Frühstückscafés. Bar Cipriani ist sehr zu empfehlen.
• Steve (10/5): Far exceeded expectations - The pre arrival communication was very good , the greeting and welcome from Michaelangelo was even better , exceptional in fact. The location within Acireale was fantastic , just 100 yards from the Duomo and any number of restaurants and cafes , and we enjoyed the free breakfasts at the local cafes included in the price. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. This was a real gem and a great base from which to explore the Taormina/Etna area without being in a big city. Acireale itself was a very attractive small city without the tourists. We had been worried about parking , but we had a reserved space in the street right at the Residence. Nothing.

The place is extremely clean, beautiful rooms, the beds are very comfortable, and the location is perfect for those who want to be near the downtown area. I highly recommend this stay and do yourself a favor and try the strawberry gelato at Bar Cipriani--you haven't tried a strawberry until you have tried this. Absolutely wonderful stay!!!

• Anne (10/5): Lovely relaxing time in Acireale with an outstanding host! - Great location steps from the Duomo, close to the beautiful Museo dei Pupi, a lovely walk to the Belvedere, and lots of nice bars, cafes and restaurants nearby. Very pretty, clean, comfortable room. We had our choice of three nearby restaurants for breakfast — we just presented our voucher and placed our order — a really nice way to get to know the area. Best of all was our lovely host Michelangelo. He did everything possible to make us feel at home in Acireale and Residenza Cavour. He picked us up at the train station and immediately made us feel like we were old friends. He was available to answer any questions and sent us information about local events that would interest us. I can’t say enough about his kindness and good humour.

Very well informed about the city, events, places to eat and visit, planned and thoughtful. Probably the best host I have ever had (and I have travelled a lot). Location is central, walking distance to most attractions in town. The room and common areas are spotless. The room was in a very beautiful, old yet renovated building downtown. Everything was great about it except for the soundproof. When windows and the blinds were closed we could hardly hear anything from outside. Inside the building, as our room was close to the staircase, we could hear other tourists coming in or going out.

The location is ideal, right by the main square, Duomo and cafes etc. We could park right outside. The room was well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Easy to get to main road to other places too. Acireale gives an authentic experience of a Sicilian town, we were lucky to see a wedding and the Santa Rita saints day festivities.

The manager Michelangelo is amazing, always ready to help you in any possible way and will make your stay even better. He gives also great advices on tourist attractions around the coast. Nothing! But since we were travelling with a toddler, so a microwave to warm the milk at night/morning in the small kitchenette of the ground floor would have been the cherry on the cake.
• Nina (10/5): Exceptional - The location of the apartment is in the center of the city, very close to the main square, but hidden from the noise. The location is also good due to the proximity of attractions (Taormina, MtEtna, ...). Breakfast bistros are nearby and the breakfasts are excellent. The car can be parked right next to the accommodation. Manager Michelangelo is ready to assist at any time. The information we got from him made our vacation even nicer.

Location quiet although just off main square. We really enjoyed the closeness of the beautiful centre and the vouchers for breakfast in a local cafe. Our first night in Sicilia after a long journey and it felt a treat! Not really an issue for one night but we were in the annexe. I think the main building has some kitchen facilities which would be nice.

• Johannes (10/5): A pearl i. The center of an authentic little wonderful town on Sicily - Residents Cavour is one of these rare pearls. Located very near the main Plaza of the wonderful little town of Acireale; very local; not overwhelmed by tourists as Taormina is. The hotel and the rooms are modern and kept pristine. The biggest asset of Residenza Cavour is undoubtedly Michelangelo: he will bend backwards to make your stay as pleasant as can be. I like the formula of a voucher to some very nice terraces on nearby plazas for breakfast included It is one of these rare pearls

• Holth (10/5): A central, quiet and nice hotel to a reasonable price and with a really helpful staff. - The hotel is situated few meters from the cathedral and the open cathedral square. At the same time it was completely quiet in the room. Both the room and the bathroom were excellent and clean. The hotel manager is very caring and helpful. I arrived in the evening after the reception was closed. In advance I made an appointment via mobile phone with the manager and he met me in the cathedral square, helped me with my luggage and showed me the way to the hotel. In short, this is a hotel that I can really recommend. And should I visit Acireale again, I will use the same hotel.

Manager/Concierge MICHELANGELO has to be the BEST HOST IN ANY HOTEL ANYWHERE! FROM PRE ARRIVAL TO CHECK OUT & Getting one into one's taxi, very attentive to all needs and details, incredibly helpful and kind. A caring warm host in every sense of the word! The amenities were optimal, comfortable and clean! The breakfast choices are off site and one has a choice of 3 possible eateries close for which you get credit vouchers. Michelangelo even gives you a preview about the options at each! ThenWiFi was excellent (fast) and there's a homey kitchen downstairs with coffee maker and tea kettle. There isn't anything at all I didn't like. I wish all hotels and guesthouses were this ideal.

He arranged a guide to take us onto Etna, recommended great restaurants and helped with parking. The rooms are very central in Acireale and are comfortable and quiet. Although breakfast is not available on the premises, free vouchers are provide for 3 local cafes that have excellent Italian breakfasts and drinks available, only a few metres walk from the apartments. 10 out of 10. There is nothing to dislike.

• Anthony (10/5): Exceptional - This is a comfortable hotel located in a quiet part of town though just minutes from the beautiful centre of Acireale. Michelangelo gave us a warm welcome, lots of good recommendations for places to eat and was on hand if we needed anything. The breakfast taken in a choice of nearby bars worked really well. Catania Centrale and the airport are an easy train ride away. Highly recommended! Nothing it was all good.

• hermank640 (10/5): One night stay in Acireale - The host, Michelangelo, must be the most dedicated and interested host I have ever met! He got in touch with us the day before our arrival to sort out the paperwork to speed up the check-in process, and he even registered our car with the traffic police to make sure we had a parking space for it! This was all setup and ready on our day of arrival. The hotel standard was also very good, located in the city center, and as breakfast we got to choose from a selection of bars close to the hotell to eat on. We ate dinner on a restaurant on Michelangelo's reccomodation, and the dinner was the best we have had so far during our two-week stay. Ask Michelangelo anything, and he will fix it - would definitely recommend to stay here!

Michelangelo is a fantastic host and was very welcoming - he also gave us great recommendations on places to eat which made visiting a pleasure. Would stay again.
