MIKE (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay. As we were getting loaded up to leave Brandon our Doorman informed us that we had a flat tire. He helped us get air in the tire and gave us directions to a very good shop to get the tire repaired while we walked about a half block to have breafast. We will suggest to anyone going to Deadwood that they should stay at the Franklin. I can't think of any problem.

Fellegy (10/5): Minnesota trip to Deadwood - Morning front desk lady was so nice. 7 am shift.. always greeting with a smile and a welcome. Was not impressed with other front desk people. Was watching them. Loved the remodeling of the rooms. Very clean and fresh When we entered our room was very impressed, except when we used the bathroom found 2 dirty towels hanging behind the door on a hook.. im a housekeeper and I know how it's easy to forget to look at everything. Night front desk girl was never greeting people as they entered. No hair dryer in the room..

Susan (10/5): - The location is excellent. It is on the south end of main street and close to many shops and restaurants. They gave us free drink and match play coupons every night of our stay. Rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. Our room and bathroom was rather small. You will need to make a reservation early for The Legends Steakhouse. Parking was 2 blocks away but they will shuttle you in a golf cart.

Scott (5/5): Asked about the fee and they kinda scoffed that it was the site I booked thru that didn’t tell me there was a resort fee - Downtown They charge you a fee for a king bed x 2 nights. $25 bucks a night. Then they also charge you a resort fee. lol. In addition, they don’t have maid service while to change ur linen daily. In addition, parking is two blocks away.

Liked the ambiance, color scheme and cleanliness of the rooms. Appreciated the coffee maker, coffee & small refrigerator included with the room. Parking was several blocks away. Bed was very firm for my taste and pillows were extra firm. Room was very small - including the bathroom...no counter space. No drawers or storage areas for clothing, etc. Walls are paper thin and being a casino there were lots of drunk, loud people throughout the night. Wish there was an option to keep a fan running thru the heating/air systems. Very poor experience for breakfast at the downstairs restaurant.

Brittney (6/5): - Location is nice. Our room/bathroom was very clean. Legends Steakhouse breakfast is my favorite when visiting Deadwood. Internet didn't work well when trying to work. Our bathroom was SO small and the water pressure would go in and out. Water would also lose heat (freezing showers). No housekeeping, you have to request everything. Our room was right next to the school, so good luck sleeping in on the weekdays. The hotel staff referred you to websites to book reservations at Legends. I felt like we were on our own when it came to needing help with anything.

The elevator broke the first night we were there, but they got someone to come in and fix it right away which was a good thing as I am unable to do the stairs so by the time we made it to the 3rd floor, my knees were shot. I was disappointed in the size of our room. We had just a little walk way between the bed and wall. That is the only are we had was the bed and 2 little end tables. And then there was a small cabinet for your coats and a mini fridge and microwave and tv that was it no room for anything else. So we had to sit on the bed to eat and everything. We also were disappointed in the bed it was way too soft so we were unable to sleep well along with the noisy upstairs guest that kept on stomping on the floor and slamming doors.

Anna (9/5): Remodeled Rooms! - Loved the remodeled room! Nice bathroom! Huge flat screen! Pretty quiet! Shower pressure and temp gave out! Is it on a timer? King bed was uncomfortable. Elevator is a bit sketchy.
Anna (6/5): - Bed very uncomfortable. We woke all night long in pain from the hard bed and horrible pillows. Hidden fees upon arrival.
