DEPRET-GERARD (6/5): - Pour une nuit, nous avions choisi une chambre standard. Elle était propre, le lit confortable mais elle semblait une peu ancienne et surtout il y faisait déjà un peu chaud alors que nous n'étions qu'au mois de mai et en ouvrant la fenêtre nous avions les bruits de la route assez passagère ! L'accueil était agréable.
Anna (6/5): Friendly guesthouse, but not super comfortable - Very friendly owners at this quaint, provincial stay. The kids loved the play area, and the breakfast was good but the family room had very low ceilings so wasn’t that comfortable for tall visitors. We also felt quite conscious of the lack of soundproofing, as our baby wouldn’t settle and we got a few disapproving comments about it over breakfast. Not sure we’d rush to go back but it served its purpose as an overnight stop.

Kevin (10/5): A hidden gem, near Rouen - I absolutely loved this place. It's situated in this small town or village on the single main road, opposite am ornate town hall. The building itself has manged to retain the historic vibe, while the rooms have been nicely renovated and have comfy, modern beds and showers with good pressure. The staff are the best thing about the place. So friendly and welcoming, I was passing through, but I'd happily spend longer here if I was holidaying in the region. Excellent English is spoken and the food at breakfast is simple and delicious, while the in house restaurant seems to be the mein attraction of the village and it's easy to see why. The menu gourmand is outstanding value and the food is fantastic. Secure parking at the rear is also free. Definitely coming back!

Hébergement malgré les logos logis de France, nous étions dans une petite chambre sous les toits difficile d'accès par les escaliers étroit voir dangereux. Klaus (8/5): Zentral und authentisch - Total nettes Personal, die Chefin bediente selbst. Zuvorkommend und sehr schnell. Das Hotel besteht aus einem renovierten mittelalterlichen Gebäude, jedes Zimmer ist anders. Zimmer selbst für den Standard einwandfrei, recht sparsam eingerichtet. Das Restaurant ist sehr gut, absolut empfehlenswert. Da das Hotel mitten in der Innenstadt, gegenüber dem Rathaus, an einer belebten Straße liegt, sollte man auf jeden Fall ein Zimmer zur Rückseite buchen. Angenehmer Aufenthalt, ich komme wieder.

Emma (10/5): Spotless and friendly - We booked this hotel primarily as it was a good place to break our journey overnight. What an unexpected treat! Wonderful welcoming staff and the cleanest place I think I've ever stayed. Situated right in the centre of the tiny town it was easy to find, had it's own car park and was right next to the market square and shops. The town was quiet overnight (we all slept well) and had a lovely buzz at the Saturday market the next morning. The lady who checked us in spoke in English and French and was thrilled that our 13 year old son tried out his highschool French. Would be more than happy to stay again.
oOPAZOo (8/5): Nice stopover for onward journey - This is the second time we have stayed here on our way down to the South of France. The staff are really friendly and welcoming and very helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The only thing that kind of let's this place down is the food, this time we decided to try the restaurant as we arrived a lot earlier and even though they was very accomodating for the children it was top end with price. For the price of food, the standard of food should be a lot higher in my opinion. My advice is a great place to stay but eat elsewhere. A meal for 2 adults and 1 child came up to £90 which included a couple of beers and half a bottle of wine. The food was presented nice to be fair but just overcooked.

The owners could not have been more helpful and made our stay absolutely stress-free. They were so kind and welcoming and really looked after us. Perfect bedroom for a family of 5 too - always difficult to find. Definitely recommend.

Tom (10/5): Excellent food, clean and friendly hotel! - We used one of the family suites which fitted a family of 5 in comfort. Clean, simple rooms. The owners made us feel wonderfully welcome and did everything they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The food in the hotel restaurant was simply delightful and the owners were very tolerant of our young (and not perfectly behaved) children in the civilised atmosphere!
Paresh (10/5): Fantastic Authentic Hotel, Restaurant and Bar - This hotel is stunning and the hotel owners are very friendly, helpful and English speaking. The communication with the hotel was fantastic. After we booked we asked for a late check as our Ferry was late afternoon and it was a two hour drive to the hotel. No problem, unfortunately our ferry was delayed 2 hours so emailed them again to inform them of a later arrival, no problem once again, they even offered to keep kitchen open for us to eat if needed and the owner even waited up for us to greet us on arrival at 10.30pm. I must say I will be using this hotel again and again from now on on our way down to our house in France in the summer but next time get a earlier ferry so I can make use of the fantastic restaurant and bar etc to make it a less rushed stay. The room was very spacious with nice modern decor and really comfortable. I think the place has been renovated recently. Fantastic bathroom and very powerful shower which I loved. Our room looked out to the square which was nice. The bonus was the free WiFi as well which my young daughter made full use of during our short stay and me of course. Thank you for looking after us and will see you again next year on our trip down to France.
