First, the space is in a dark area around the back of the property. It is simply creepy, dark, and not someplace you would want to be. Then upon entering the room, it had a terrible smell. I would describe it as musty, dirty, and not someplace you would want to stay. I messaged the owners to let them know I would not be staying there and requested a refund. Remember, I had only booked hours earlier. They refused. I did not stay in the "hotel". It's not actually a hotel. There is no lobby. Its like every room has it's own locked door. Super creepy vibes. See if the Stone House is available on AirBNB. It was lovely.

- Juli (6/5): - Street parking only. No face-to-face check in, Yes all done through text message. It’s appears to be a very old house that was renovated into a small hotel. There is only one staircase and it’s very steep. The room was adequate but did not have any USB ports so you had to have your own adapter to charge your phone and I did not have an adapter so I could not charge my phone. Nice Mountain View from my room. rooms need to be modernized and I don’t think I will stay there again. Also, I believe it was overpriced for the standards of the facility.

- Fredonna (10/5): I want to stay here again!! - Such a great old historic building! We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight here. It was especially convenient to be assigned a room and an entry code before we got there so that we didn’t have to check in. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was beautiful and very clean, and they had my favorite kind of coffee (Dark Magic) for the in-room Keurig! Thank you, Park Hotel, for being a great entry to Yellowstone!

- Alba (8/5): - Beautiful stay, towels smelled a little funky, checkout is at 10am which is earlier than most checkouts we have been to. Check is is 4pm and was super easy. Beautiful little home stay, however I was very careful to not make too much noise with the littles, we like to let the kids be free and out of courtesy to others staying, I was cautious not to let them yell, you can hear people walking, its a beautiful stay for those that want a very quiet space. Not reccomended for children. I have a 4 month old and 8 year old girl. They did goofld staying quiet but just want to warn other parents. Also has a cute kitchen, microwave, and stove which was super cute.

Although we only stayed 1nite, You provided everything needed for an extended stay——with one exception—a comfortable chair or two for reading or watching TV. I would also like to have the TV remote sanitized. (Ours had some unidentifiable blobs and was sticky). Other than that the room was very clean.

The room (more like small apartment) was really adorable on top of having everything that we needed, including comfy beds. The owner bent over backwards to make sure that we enjoyed our stay given the north entrance road closure, with terrific recommendations for Yellowstone tours, rafting, and hot spring pools. Gardiner is a great, resilient town with tons to do!

It was so easy to get in to our rooms, as the owner Tami had texted us all the info earlier that we might need. The rooms themselves were gorgeous. Wonderful beds, great amenities, and so much space!! It’s full of charm and personality, and gorgeous little touches (the shower details are excellent) and such a better experience than a plain, boring, standard room at a chain. We absolutely loved our stay and already have plans to stay there again! Wonderful hotel and absolutely recommend.

- Christine (10/5): - This place is like no other. Every inch is decorated with high quality items depicting mountain themes like bears, elk, mountain goats, forests, or Wyoming in general. Everywhere I looked in my room there was something interesting to discover, and yet it was not cluttered. Everything was very artistically arranged. I had room 204, lovely, spacious, and full of light with one wall of windows, looking out on the park. I was only able to book one night, next time I’d like to stay longer as it was so lovely.

- Matthew (10/5): - This is a hotel that feels very much like a B&B without the breakfast. Tami spent two years renovating the building and it shows, managing to capture a blend between antique charm and modern sensibilities. The stone shower is stunning but there are many other neat details from the art on the walls to an antique Yellowstone Lodge lamp by the bed. It feels cozy, warm and welcoming - very different from a chain hotel. It's also perfect the COVID age. A few hours before check in I received a friendly text from Tami with everything I needed to know, including some nearby dining options and the name and number of the on-site manager. Also included were my room number and its door code -- all rooms have modern electronic door locks. So while the entire experience was contactless, it still felt friendly and personable. Park Hotel is going to be my top recommendation for any friends coming to the area. It was an unexpected delight.

Wear socks in room on carpet. Balcony, while a bit tired, is large and provides comfortable seating and the best morning coffee with birds, big sky , mountains and view of park entrance. Friendly, responsive manager. Terrific information is emailed to you by manager ahead of the trip. Comfortable beds, fresh towels and linens. The coffee maker uses kcups. They supply a few full-caff kcups. Bring your own if you want de caff. Note that the window drapes are held back by very pointy antler horns that hurt if you bump into them. The shower is of eall rounded d floor suite is amazing. Get that room if you can afford it, Yet verify that the lot behind the building is not undergoing construction. Currently that lot is for sale. Best pizza is a block away!
