Yongas (1/5): Excellent and no extra charge with 'non-human companions' during ur stay - The only good thing is the receptionist provided cockroach spray for us! outstanding service We went into the room, that's 2 cockroaches on the bed running around. We asked cockroach spray to sprayed under the bed. It turns out more cockroaches came out than we expected. 3 strong men shouted on scene, 3 unfortunate cockroaches dead on the spot, 2 flying cockroaches waving with intruders and countless mini, cutie, lovely cockroaches

Yang (1/5): Not a place to recommend, nor a hotel to introduce - It was just next to the ferry entrance, a 10seconds walk to the entrance of ferry terminal. 1. Hotel is very very old and dirty, facilities were not worth the amount spent for the stay. 2. Kukup itself is a very dirty and unhygienic tourist attraction, the operators there didn't take much attention to the environment issues and rubbish that's thrown into the sea, hence causing the place to smell. 3. Hotel is ok for a night stay, but not with the cents and dollars charged. 4. Receptionist doesn't know much.

The morning shift female staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful. She managed to help us to book a transport out to the JB City Square. It is very difficult to get a Grab or inDrive transport out to JB City Square.

Ismail (8/5): Good Location. Restaurants & minimarts everywhere around the hotel. - Good location just beside the Kukup Ferry Terminal. You can catch a direct boat to Tg Balai Karimun Indonesia from here for a day trip. Ticket cost RM 175 for 2 way journey. There is some seafood restaurants beside and infront of the hotel and also some minimarts around Those without own transport to come here there is a direct public bus from Pontian Town that runs 4 times daily each way with timings at 0730, 1130, 1430 & 1730 from Pontian with ticket cost just RM 3. There is no fridge and kettle to boil hot water inside the room. No coffee/tea packet provided.

Will not recommend hotel to anyone staying in Kukup. - - Bed was nicely made. - Aircon was good. - Readily available facilities such as restaurants and food was available around the hotel. - Hotel management was inflexible and cold. My deposit of RM$50 was confiscated because I did not check out on time at 12pm. - Toilet in the room was wet when I booked in. Most likely someone has used the toilet prior to my book in but I kept quiet. - Price was not reasonable in the absence of facilities such as auto-lock lock and free tea. - Staff was not friendly and appeared disinterested to serve their customers. - Cannot watch the TV channels in the room. No instructions on how to tune in to the available TV channels was available. - My room was near the check-in counter. I woke up at around 4.30am to use the toilet and smell cigarette smell seeping into my room. Staff did not adhere to the no smoking rule in the hotel.

If we are not happy we can just cancelled as the room was a discounted room. Also parking under hotel was only one. Also no lift and the stairs are pretty high
