- Billy Fam (10/5): - The staff were very helpful No

- Michael (8/5): - The breakfast was very good. The service, too, was attentive and helpful. The place reminded me of a quirky, rustic farmhouse. It delivered what I most needed: the pleasure of a hot shower after travelling. The bed was comfy, fitted with a mosquito net and I slept very well. Breakfast was more than I expected and set me up for the flight later that day.
- Marion (8/5): -
- Edoardo (10/5): - The place is close to the airport. Perfect for an overnight stay. The staff was available for questions thorugh emails. They also organized the transfers for us. The breakfast was good. They were so kind to let us check out late. The staff could have been more professional for the check in.
- Hawkins (9/5): -
- Elise (10/5): - Staff were so nice and room so clean
- Josef (10/5): -
- Null (10/5): コスパ最高で快適でした。 - SGRの駅や空港からとても近く、価格がとても安い。スタッフが親切で気がきく。 場所が分かりにくい。GoogleMapp通りの場所で水色の門が目印。
- Hui (8/5): Good - Nice place to be a transition -
- Hanifa (7/5): -
- Mitzi (8/5): - The staff is super friendly, and very accommodating. I checked in and out at very late and early hours, and they made sure I could get in and out. The room was nice and clean and I had a good night's rest.
- Benjamin (5/5): For a short stay in transit it works. But I wouldn’t want to hang around for more than that. - Nice friendly and welcoming staff. Who kindly made breakfast really early for my departure. Room was a little dingy with one bright light bulb and run down appearance. Could be improved massively with some nicer lighting and a little decoration.
Bathroom was also quite an experience.
Bed was like lying on a plank of wood.

- Flora (8/5): Je recommande !
- Faith (6/5): Quiet, pleasant environment if you just want to sleep and go. Kind service from the hostess. - The host, Christina was very kind and helpful. She took me around and made me supper. Very kind service from her. She also gave me an extra blanket on request.
I was looking forward to having fruit for breakfast, it's normally the only thing I eat in the mornings but I only got one banana, 2 small wedges of an apple and 2 quarters of an orange. I told her I don't drink juice can I please have more fruit but she said it's not possible. It's not her fault but kindly consider more fruit if the guest is not having juice for breakfast.
The facilities are clean though. The shower and toilet doors are a bit rusty.
- MARIA JESUS (7/5): -
- Jane (5/5): - The bathrooms needs updating
The beds are squeezed together no space to move The bathroom and house needs updating didn't expect old doors in such a facility
- Cynthia (6/5): Pleasant -
- Manneh (9/5): Superb -
- Vincent (10/5): Exceptional - the food and the staff were really nice
- Maya (8/5): Friendly and clean, suited our needs very well. - They reached out to us to see if we needed help with transport pick up from our arrival destination and drop off next day, which we did.
They arranged our breakfast very early (5am) as we had to leave to catch a bus.
Room very clean, all good mosquito nets and towels.
Friendly staff.
Ability for family of 3 to share 1 room. We didn’t have time to use the shower, but there was some bare wiring in the bathroom.
- Chris (7/5): Good - Good location, price and helpful staff The mattress is very firm
- Chris (7/5): Good -
- Emily (8/5): Very good - Ideal pit-stop after a long flight and before a long train journey the following day. The staff were very accomodating with my late arrival and early start. Breakfast was lovely!
- Kelvin (9/5): Nice, quiet, comfortable and felt secure. - Convenience: Close to the airport as well as the main road leading to Nairobi.
Bed was warm and comfortable. Loved the breakfast as well. Shower: low pressure and too hot as heating settings were unresponsive.
Pillows: Puffier ones would be better to help avoid neck strain overnight.
These are minor issues if attended to soonest
- Verified traveler (8/5): - My stay was fine.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - the room was very comfortable and clean, staff were super friendly and accommodating. Absolutely perfect for my night in Nairobi.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The staff are really nice people, but the place is so far from all the places in Nairobi and Transportation from the place to anywhere is so expensive!
- Richard (4/5): Very Basic - Fair way from Airport - Very basic hotel and much further from the airport than the impression it gives.
Toilet did not flush. No toiletries/towel provided.
- Majlis (8/5): Bra hotel möta Jomo Kenyatta AirPort - Ett mycket trevligt litet hotel med trevlig ägare och personal. Rent och bra frukost. Bekväma sängar och bra avstånd till flygplats.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Staff is very pleasant and eager to please. Clean and close to the airport, but down a lumpy dirt road.
- Huug (6/5): Basic accomodation to cover a transit night - The Transit Hotel offered two clean beds. Having said so: it was very basic. The shared bathroom waa clean but run down: shower head spread electric sparks, the toilet had no seat. Towels were handed after we asked. The free drinking water (as was mentioned in the confirmation) was billed for.
Since we only had to cover literally one transit night, we were happy with a bed to crash on. It would not have served for a longer stay. The staff was friendly.
- Jacob (8/5): Great transit hotel - Short stay in Nairobi for a 22 hours layover with Kenya Airways. Good transit hotel, close to the airport.
The hotel is clean, but the room feels a bit cramped. The service is excellent. Very professional staff, who offer great recommendations for things to do in Nairobi.
- Yasuyuki (10/5): - The stuff helped me a lot when I arrive late at night and leave in the early morning.
Noisy dogs were outside during the night mosquitoes were in the room but it should be Nairobi.
- Stanley (2/5): Not what advertised! - This hotel was not even the same building as what is advertised on the hotels.com website. For financial reasons, they had to downsize, and so it is a house in a neighborhood and the beds are crammed into tiny rooms. Also, it is 1.5 km from JKA as the crow flies, but takes forty-five minutes to get there because of terrible roads.
- Martine (8/5): Convenience - Cheap, not too far from airport.
Room clean.
Not easy to get hot water when you are short.
- Peter (6/5): Mosquito Transit Lounge - I start with the positives. It is a cheap accommodation near Jomo Kenyatta Intl. Airport, although it is not as close as you would expect. The staff was really excellent, very polite and helpful. The breakfast was simple but good, wi-fi working. The bed was very comfortable and the hot water was available 24 hours. And now the negatives... The biggest issue - mosquitos !!! You cant escape them inside this accommodation, regardless if you close windows (which is unthinkable as there is no air-conditioning and the temperatures in Nairobi are really high) or open them, they are everywhere in numbers ! Also in the bathroom and they are really annoying. The liquid electric repellent didnt prevent them from action. The mosquito net is provided, but if they are already inside the net, it doesnt help. So I ended up using repellent on my hands and neck for the night ! And besides this building, no mosquitos at all during my whole trip... Another problem - barking dogs around. You have a calm night and every half an hour a stupid dog starts barking somewhere, more join him and this lasts for minutes and then starts again. You cannot sleep, so loud it is. The access from the main road (with bus stop) is via unpaved roads, so be prepared for a lot of dust if you walk and it takes almost 30 mins. The accommodation is not marked at all, so taxi drivers have problems to find it. They offer own transport from/to the airport for 13 USD. If they solve these problems, it will be a good choice.
- Stanley (10/5): - I always stay overnight here between a late-night arrival at JKIA and an early morning departure to Tanzania.
- Manne (8/5): Very good oprtion for a tranist Lounch . - Good and recomentable, cheap option to stay for a short time as for Transit.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I had a pleasant stay at Nairobi Transit Lounge.
- Peter (8/5): The cleanest place (after 3 weeks in East Africa)! - A brilliant place to stay if you want a very clean, simple, and convenient place to stay near Nairobi Airport. But best to phone then directly for taxi 'pick-up' (c. $13.00), rather than trusting a taxi driver to be able to find it easily. Because of traffic, best to allow at least 45 mins for returning to the airport, if travelling Mon-Fri before 10.00am
- Paul (6/5): Very mixed - When I arrived it was dark. Very dark and no power, no backup, no torches. A pretty rough area and access to the yard through a lake. Breakfast was ok. I guess being close to the SGR and the airport, most people just stay one night. But it is cheap. Allow at least an hour to the airport at peak hourd
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nairobi - Great transit hostel. Friendly staff. The airport pickup service is handy for late arrivals.
