Ian (9/5): Pleased I stayed here and not a sterile chain hotel despite the difference in cost. - Comfy room, characterful building and delightful garden. Selecting breakfast choices a day in advance is not ideal but understandable to avoid waste.

The helpful staff and ease of parking and access. Advance signage of the Inn when approaching as the entrance is not apparent until you are on top of it! A simple kettle and tea bags for us tea drinking guests would have been appreciated.

Mary (7/5): Pretty hotel - My favorite part was the very pretty, atrium style dining room and yummy breakfast. We also used the adjoining comfortable and lovely living room to watch a little TV. Our room wasn't the best, since it was small and didn't have a nice view.. The bathroom, although very cute with tile and frog theme, was tiny without any counter space. I also wouldn't recommend St. Simon island if you aren't a golfer. Its history of being 80% black owned and Gullah culture is almost completely erased except for the little Harrington school house. It's all upscale houses and golf courses. Bland.

The place was very clean and cozy. Coffee in our room, the beautiful shower and towel warmer! I could go on and on! The bed was so comfortable and then eating breakfast in the nook facing the fountain watching the birds put an end to our anniversary trip with an A+ I would absolutely book again! There was nothing that we did not like about the facility. I only wish we had more days to spend there.

sandra (6/5): Just okay ! - It was just okay - especially after staying at other B &B for the last week. I just “warn” anyone on the bigger side - the bathroom would not work for you I am 5’4” @128lbs and it was tight - lol. Breakfast was fine - but really special to report back.
Terry (10/5): Amazing adventure - It almost seen like it was I first visited. The hostess greeted us on arrival. The room we choose was from the previous stay early this year. The breakfast was delicious and home made served with juice and coffee. The beach was breathtaking and beautiful. We visited some historic sites as well.

My room was small but had what I needed (writing desk, chairs, soft bed). The hostess was also very friendly and helpful. I only had one real complaint: The bathroom was too small.

Peggy (10/5): - The Grey Owl was a precious surprise! We (3 adults) had the best room, Melody's Roost, and it was spectacular! Stained glass decor, massage beds (!), a sleeper sofa with privacy screen--it's listed for 5 but it could sleep 4 adults and 2 well behaved small children on that sofa bed. The tub and shower in the master bath are epic. The room was quiet, and the grounds were gated so parking felt as secure as my home garage! Teresa greeted us and was so sweet! She gave us the full tour and offered help with our bags up the single flight of stairs. My 89 year old friend with the double knee replacement made the climb, and she said it was completely worth it when she saw the room! Breakfast was hot and served to (pre) order! We all want to visit again, maybe make a long weekend of it. Keycode entries, directions to the beach, and soothing neighborhood. A gorgeous, spacious, repeatable stay worth every penny!

Ken (5/5): Passable - The outside was nice but far from everything No views of the ocean that was a big deal for me , this is a error on my part because I figured a small island you see the ocean, so it’s not their fault. this is the first time I’ve ever stayed at a B & B so how it all works is a change for what I’m use to I never noticed breakfast is at 9:00am and where I’m from we would call this a mid morning snack we were long gone before that time ! I believe we were the only ones on the property and after the lady checked us in we never saw her again.

I was under the impression that I had marked we would arrive between 4 and 5 on our initial booking, but I received an angry call from staff saying that "I better hurry up" because no one will be there to check me in, despite me being on track to arrive before 5:00PM. My arrival time was 4:45PM and I let them know this over the phone. It would be nice when paying over $500 for 2 nights for guests not to be yelled at. All other staff were great and super accommodating.

Van (10/5): My favorite place to stay while on Saint Simmons Island. - The whole inn was excellent, great room, welcoming staff, delightful eating area, relaxing living room with fire place. Breakfast was Excellent, great variety. Good coffee, and delicious breakfast. Eggs Benedick was perfectly cooked. The pecan waffle was delicious. Nothing. Everything was executed to perfection.

Verified traveler (8/5): A nice inn with comfortable rooms - The room was spacious, bright, and comfortable. We were surprised when the bed was not made or towels replaced, as we were not advised that the management did not service the rooms at all during our stay. We did request more coffee, and it was left outside the room for us. The breakfasts were delicious, hot, and made to order. The inn is centrally located, and it was easy to get to attractions and the beach. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.
Jonathan Speed (10/5): Beautiful St. Simmons Island - I loved the property with its fountain pond and lush landscaping. It is within walking distance to the beaches and some very nice eateries. My room was themed about Dr. Albert Schweitzer and the safari camp where HRM Elizabeth II was staying when she inherited the throne upon her father's passing. The whole property is just filled with such details from books to gardens. And the breakfast in the sun room overlooking the garden was delicious and so relaxing (soothing if you will). Staff was awesome and helpful in finding things to see locally.

Matthew (10/5): This place is a great upgrade if you want a nice place to stay for a night. We loved it. - The omelets were absolutely delicious. Loved the little pond with fish .We sat out there for hours spending our anniversary together. The house was very clean and we slept great on our bed in the room. Really no complaints whatsoever, however I will say the place is quiet. So quiet you might worry about disturbing others if you stay up late and hang out at the pond late with say... your acoustic guitar but we had no complaints so like I said... Truly no complaints.... Quiet is really good. :)
John (10/5): Locations and comfort - Beautiful quaint facility in wonderful location. Room and bed comfortable but lacked a closet or place for hanging clothes. Service was friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast.

We loved our host, she was so welcoming and sweet! We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit St. Simons! Great stay!!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

April (9/5): Superb - The breakfast was "AWESOME" !!!!! You will need to come prepared to eat with a very empty stomach. The Inn was very quaint and the grounds were very nice.
