- John (10/5): What a wonderful and charming stay, conventional located downtown yet quiet and relaxing. Would highly recommend! - The property has so much charm, is warm and inviting. Nothing!
- Krumrine (10/5): Southern hospitality and style at its very best. - Charming and historic property curated with antiques perfectly situated in the historic district of Charlottesville. The staff could not be nicer or more helpful and the breakfasts were innovative and delicious. Well done to all. Would like to have stayed longer!

- Sharon (10/5): - Historic charm, service, breakfast, location Zero
- Thomas (10/5): Lovely and Fabulous and Perfect! - Fabulous very old brick house from 1785. Gorgeous interior. Modernized, and without removing the charm and deep sense of history. Really lovely. Check-In was odd. Had to wait at the door for a while before someone came to let us in. We were offered a room upgrade for more money; no thanks. Given instructions on how to lock and unlock doors, which was unnecessary. Given instructions on how to use the thermostat; also unnecessary. Just an odd introduction, you know? Everything else was FAB! Including the very lovely breakfast!!!
- Lyubov (10/5): - Exceptional accommodation .

Yet it is so comfortable and welcoming! Candace the owner and the entire staff are great and make you feel so special. Can’t wait for my next stay and I highly recommend!

- mark (10/5): Stunning elegance in the heart of historic Charlottesville - The inn is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are huge, beautifully appointed and a full of stunning art and antiques. It is nestled in the historic area of Charlottesville with charming parks and buildings all around. Easily accessible from I64. The staff is most welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was gourmet, plentiful and served in the elegant living and dining rooms. Free parking in back.
- Christine (10/5): Excellent 1785 restored B&B - Stunning 1785 renovated home, surrounded by wonderful fixtures and furnishings. The bed was a hoot, almost needed a ladder to hop on but super comfy even has a Smart TV. Location excellent, 2 blocks from mall and restaurants. Parking at rear of property. Everyone raves about the breakfast and with good reason, John makes a brilliant breakfast to start you on your day. Didn't stay longer.
- Joseph (9/5): - great
- Shaun (8/5): -
- John (10/5): Delightful stay in the historic core of Charlottesville . -
- Cynthia (10/5): Historic, well-appointed inn within walking distance of the pedestrian plaza - Delicious, freshly-made breakfast, with a selection of 3 differing entrees that catered to omnivore, gluten-free and vegetarian guests. Very friendly and attentive staff. Reminded me of a classic British B&B.
They provided a 24 hour hallway beverage service with housemade cookies and fresh fruit, along with coffee and tea.
The entire place was uniquely decorated with antiques from the area, lending a historic, regional air. I suppose a mini fridge in the room would've been helpful. But as we only stayed one night, it wasn't a big problem.
- Terry (10/5): Beautiful B&B with super staff, centrally located with delicious breakfasts! - The Inn is centrally located near The Mall in Charlottesville and is an easy walk to restaurants and shopping. All staff members are friendly and service focused. Daily breakfast was outstanding and plentiful. It was a wonderful experience! Personally, I was having some health issues with steps so climbing the stairs to our second floor room and using the front steps to enter the front of the building was a little challenging. I would reserve a first floor room the next time I book.
- Gabrielle (10/5): Blissfull - The Inn is the absolute cutest place in Charlottesville to stay. From the warm greeting to the wonderful breakfast the next day. This historical, warm and charming venue really transports you back in time. The staff are all wonderful and the rooms very comfortable. I would come back in a heartbeat. Nothing, everything was wonderful.
- sheri (10/5): Very wonderful stay and we definitely will be back! - Very lovely place and all the staff were very friendly and helpful! The breakfast was exceptional!
- Tricia (8/5): I think this was a cool property. It just needs a little few more touches to make it the top notch. - It had a good location. The staff was very nice and the rooms were very large. The bathrooms need better lighting and there were TV cords hanging down from the TV that need to be fixed. And I wish there was breakfast every day the days we were there they didn’t have breakfast I guess.
- Jackie (10/5): Quality stay, great location, southern hospitality - Location-2 blocks from the downtown mall, owner and staff take great care of guests, delicious breakfast/desserts, beautifully renovated historic inn in the heart of Charlottesville.
- Joy (10/5): -
- Trasoula (10/5): - Adorable historic inn two streets away from Main Street. Our bed was so comfortable and our room beautifully decorated. We loved the breakfasts. Pat is such an amazing chef and warm and friendly. Akbar was very hospitable and did an excellent job throughout. Candace, the owner was delighful, as was her brother. I have already recommended The Inn at Court Square to my friends and family. Nothing!
- Patrick (10/5): -
- Nicholas (10/5): - This was a great inn and incredible breakfast. Hosts are great too. Lovely house Nothing
- Phillip (9/5): - Very comfortable, well located, and breakfast was excellent.
- Michał (10/5): -
- Vince (10/5): Classy, historic, relaxing. - The breakfast was expertly prepared with the freshest ingredients. The parking was a little tight (driveway), but what would you expect from a home built in 1785?
- Billy (10/5): - One of a kind building, wonderful staff, the breakfast was excellent.
- Deborah (10/5): -
- Brian (7/5): - The location was great. It was clean. The fruit was wonderful and the water. I’ve and cold. When we arrived there was a strange woman in the parlor. She was introduced to us as a friend of the innkeeper. She stared at us as if she was a wax figure. Sort of strange. Not inviting or warm. I don’t think the owners should have someone sitting in the parlor that can’t even return a smile upon check-in. My girlfriend cut her foot on an exposed nail on the floor while closing the blinds. We will get a tetanus shot this week just to be safe. It was a lovely property there were just a few oddities.
- George (10/5): You made our visit to Charlottesville - Perfect location two blocks from downtown mall. Well maintained historic homes. The Inn was the best part of the trip. Loved the food, the decorating in the houses and the owner and staff. One minor item. The lighting in the bathroom needs a boost. My wife also recommends a magnify mirror. We will be back any time we need accommodations in Charlottesville.
- Lupton (9/5): Superb - The owners and staff was unbelievably attentive and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. The rooms were beautiful and eclectic. And the location was great, with lots to see and do within walking distance. Also the off-street free parking was very helpful.
- Jeri (10/5): Beautiful, quiet and comfortable. Within walking distance of many restaurants. The 3 course breakfast was amazing. Chef - Beautifully decorated, you get a sense of what this oldest house in Charlottesville would have looked liked. Candice/Owner was very informative and welcoming. We felt like we were visiting her home. She served us There were drinks and pastries upon arrival. Manager /Pastry chef Pat is gracious and warm.
- Nguyen (10/5): A great experience - great experience with staff, dining, location and personal touch
- Amanda (10/5): Everyone at the Inn was very friendly and the rooms were beautiful. - The location was great! Very near the pedestrian mall. I loved everything.
- Nathan (10/5): Exceptional -

The wineries and Monticello were within a couple miles. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. Definitely will return and spread the word!! Nothing it was perfect!!
- Melissa (9/5): Beautiful Victorian Inn with attentive staff, a delicious breakfast and amazing location!! - Amazingly friendly and attentive staff, great location, beautifully decorated and delicious breakfast/snacks/beverages. I couldn’t find a hairdryer anywhere although I should have asked the staff. Our tub/shower took a while to drain and turned into more of a bower.
- Julia (10/5): A wonderful stay! - This was a fantastic stay! The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful, but particularly Candace, the owner. Breakfast was delicious and filling, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious. It's a very quick walk to the main drag of Charlottesville and there's parking available at the inn. Truly, it was a fantastic stay and we can't wait to come back. I really thought everything was great.
- Sheila (10/5): Beyond compare- everything to complete a visit to Charlottesville! - Exceptional breakfast! Hospitality could not be beat!
- Denise (9/5): Great breakfast and reception - A step back in time Lack of electric plugs to charge phones
- Lauren (10/5): We enjoyed it and thought the linens and bedding very comfortable. - Since we normally stay in hotels it took a little time to adjust to the low lit, soft lighting & antique setting. After we adjusted and reset our minds took notice of many sweet details. it took us back in time. The lighting fixtures, attention to treasured antiques, transome windows, silver and china. The location was perfect for strolls along Market Square. The staff was very pleasantly attentive and helpful. Thanks you. Nothing really
- Rose (9/5): Superb -

Historic property
- Steve (9/5): Superb -
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tracey (10/5): We had a wonderful stay, highly recommend and would stay here again! - The breakfast was amazing!!! Great work, Chef Jonny - you are a gem!! I think the room I was in should have a walk-in shower versus the very high jacuzzi bathtub. This room seemed crowded and stepping and out of that very high tub was tricky. This could be trouble for people with mobility issues.
