Guest Reviews
- Sonia (8/5): -
- Kerrie (5/5): Disappointed not what I expected - Location No essentials on site backyard overgrown and dirty outdoor area
- Carolyn (8/5): -
- Susan (6/5): -
- Tim (9/5): Fantastic location - Location was fantastic Needs a bit of an update but it was comfortable
- Colin (5/5): Very tired property - Location On arrival it was like stepping back in time to the 70s. Dark inside, very dingy. Appliances were antique. A TV remote would have been a nice touch. The dated heater/aircon in the main room would not work on heat, which was needed. Soap in the toilet hand basin was missed and the bathroom was decidedly tired. Attention to cleaning overall was required. The outside spaces were borderline derelict and unusable. The only clean things outdoors was the ‘for sale’ boards on the outside fence.
- Jelly (9/5): Comfortable in central Coles Bay - The beautiful location right in the heart of Coles Bay, opposite coffee and ice-creamery and close to water. The lounge and enormous big table. The 2 chairs looking out the window. Standing in the spa to shower. It was hard to control the plates on the stove.
- Andrea (8/5): -
- Cynthia (5/5): - Great location No wifi. It is a remote area. We would have liked to watch a movie- with no wifi couldn't use TV to even stream from our phone. Plus DVD player didn't have batteries
- Neve (10/5): Exceptional - The view was absolutely incredible! And the house was located on a street close to shops but so quiet. Truely perfect.
- Grant (7/5): Good -
- Ta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kristen (9/5): Superb - Lovely spacious self contained house close to convenience, Ice cream & pizza shops. Short stroll down to the jetty for beautiful views of Coles Bay. Absolutely loved our stay at Freycinet Sands!
- peter (8/5): - Close to the centre of town
Plenty of room
Negative no wifi
Would stay again
- Joanne (9/5): Comfortable house for family - Good space just across the road from icecream shop. Good kitchen and fridge. Washing machine helpful. Unfortunately there is construction next door so 7am concrete truck broke the peacefulness
- Christiane (8/5): The staff was friendly and obliging. We lost the house keys. They help us under a wet Saturday evening with a smile. Tha - Well located.
Spacious. No WiFi!
- Trevor (6/5): - Very tired
- Wendy (10/5): - Nice home very near Fish & Chip / Icecream store, Piza and General store. 4min walk to Freycinette Cruises
- Robyn (6/5): - I didn’t like the extremely rude woman unkindly ranting as we were about to leave the house at 10:10am.
- Matthew (8/5): - Freycinet Sands at Coles Bay is in the perfect location for a stay to enjoy the beautiful Freycinet National Park. Directly across the road is a wonderful Cafe with great coffee and wood fired pizzas where you can sit and enjoy the water view. There is a supermarket a couple of doors down for all your grocery needs and a short stroll down the street takes you to the water's edge.
- Adrianne (9/5): Great! - Perfect, very chilled out location for exploring Freycinet and Wineglass Bay, great coffee, woodfired pizza and icecream across the road, lovely bay down the street and convenience store a few doors down - great to be able to cook meals, pack picnics etc, especially with a young kid.
- Janet (6/5): Pleasant - We had a great view of the The Hazards from the back verandah and kitchen windows. Wood fire was lovely of an evening, plenty of wood supplied. Outside the house and yard is looking a little sad, needs a spruce up. We ran out of hot water after one spa.
- Mike (10/5): - Great location, cafe across the road had great coffee and the IGA next door had beautiful foods and goods. Walking distance to the Tavern and Lodge.
- Anna (9/5): Great house and location but a bit expensive. - I liked the fact the property was close to the National Park and icecream shop! The place had everything we needed and was comfortable with a great view from the kitchen😊 A bit expensive.
- Sally (7/5): Good - Lots of space inside, kitchen had everything needed, off street parking, walking distance to Cafe, shop and pub a short walk. Spa was fantastic. Beautiful easy walk to Freycinet national Park Very busy and noisy location during the day, back yard needs a tidy,
- Tom (9/5): amazing place to share with our kids and their grand parents - inside was great, very clean garden is in need of maintenance. grill top left to us super dirty. we left it as clean as we could.
- Sandra (7/5): Good -
- Ros (10/5): surprising how good the location was for everything we wanted to do - great location nothing
- Brian (4/5): Disappointing - The location and cafe facilities across the street It was advertised as a 3 bedrooms house but we were only allowed to access 2 bedrooms. There was only one toilet & one bathroom/shower facility - not helpful for 4 adults. The timber framed double bed squeaked everytime one of us moved & the mattress was average. This accommodation was nowhere near the facilities we had at Binalong Bay.
- Christine (8/5): - Location was really good. Spacious living area just would have liked more info such as a house manual to help get our bearings plus having wood available for the fire
- Rick (9/5): Perfect location! - This home was an ideal base for exploring the beauty of Cole’s / Wineglass Bay.
View of the hazards from the bedroom window & the bay from the lounge window.
Spacious living area & kitchen.
Great coffee across the road & well equiped corner store next door.
Photos on booking.com don’t do it justice. 2 Minor issues:
Toaster tripped the power & no plug for the spa, but would stay there again; highly recommended 👍
- Diane (10/5): Great accommodation. Highly recommend. -
- Lynne (8/5): Perfection - A truly amazing place to visit. Perfectly positioned opposite a lovely Cafe, near the General Store and surrounded by incredible views.
Highly recommend this place. Loved every moment.
- Damon (10/5): Fabulous - A huge comfortable apartment. Great kitchen facilities, very comfy lounges and beds, amazing views of the hazards from
The bedroom And the lounge room. Terrific location as we were across the road from the pizza place and coffee place (highly recommend) and just up from the general
Store plus easy walk to the wharf. Very quiet and a great place to stay at.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Not modern but well-maintained building. Three rooms in the building. Suitable for family.
- Annie (10/5): - Frecyinet Sands is in a great location. Close to Pizza Cafe, shop, lovely walks and a brilliant view of the Hazards. Also short drive to Frecyinet National park and WIne Glass Bay walk. The one thing needed in the house is another mirror! A quiet location and easy off street parking . we will be back for sure!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Location is great and it’s warm. Very basic place though. Pizza shop across the road is yum.
