Rosemary (4/5): - Ultimately I feel like this property is erroneously called a hotel, it really is more like a rooming house. My husband and I stayed in room 8 for nine nights, during which we were not comfortable. The pillows were lumpy and the mattress sagged in the middle, while the bedframe itself noisily bounced against the wall with any slight movement. The bathroom had no surface to put things like toothbrush/toothpaste, but did have 2 large spiders and a drain in the middle of the floor giving a mildew scent to the room. That being said, I loved the double French doors on either side of the room that let in a lot of light. The staff were very responsive and friendly, and I appreciated the drinking water they made available.

Perla (4/5): Terrible - Usé la habitación 1, es paso de ingreso y salida de los huéspedes, por lo que todo se escucha. No hubo un momento de tranquilidad, mucho ruido de día y de noche. Para colmo la propiedad está en remodelación y había terrible ruido hecho por los trabajadores, para colmo el colchón y las almohadas son super incomodas. Deberían invertir en mejores almohadas y colchón y en brindar una solución para que la luz exterior no ingrese por las ventanillas de la habitación.

El control de la TV no servía y no había bote de basura en la habitación. La atención buena, el personal muy amable.

Por otro lado, maté a dos arañas violinistas en el cuarto y el rechinido del techo de madera ocasionado por el cuarto de arriba dificultó el sueño. Por último, la facturación es de una persona física, no de un hotel y te cobran el IVA adicional.

Hubo ruido toda la semana por obras al interior de l casa. Día y noche se oye todo de los cuartos contiguos y no hay recepción así es que más vale que nada se te ofrezca.

Lo anterior no significa que no me hospedaré de nuevo, el lugar me gusta, solo espero que pongas atención a estos detalles.

Pedro (10/5): - Este hotel es una casa antigua que la renovaron para usar los cuartos como parte de un hotel. Sentía que estaba visitando familia que nos dió un cuarto para dormir.
Maria (10/5): - Todo el personal fue muy amable. La habitación tiene todo lo necesario, limpio y esta muy agradable. La ubicación es buena, pero si hay que caminar bastante para el centro de Coyoacán. El hotel es muy recomendable.
cesar (6/5): Rústico suficiente por el precio - Buena zona en Coyoacán en casa muy rústica donde todos y cada uno de los espacios están acondicionados como cuartos Hubo una fiesta en el roof garden la Noche del jueves con bastante ruido No hay recepción aunque si atienden llamadas para resolver temas básicos. Limpieza muy general y con poco detalle
Monica (8/5): - We stay for 7 days. The place is nice decorated we stay at the pink room. Staff is helpful when you ask for things but they need to realize guess needs before we ask. I had to ask for soap refill even when the room was cleaned the house keeper didn’t fill it up. Next day I asked a lady and she did it happily. The towels weren’t change and something that annoyed me was there wasn’t a towel for the floor. We use a hand towel when exiting the shower. It was floor and the house keeper put is back several days on the place of the hand towels of course was visible dirty. When I asked for new towels the brought new ones. The place was cold some nights because our stay in December I asked for extra blankets and they did have them to us. The last 3 days of our stay was very noisy with guess allow to hang out on the roof. We weren’t baker to have a good sleep. Casa Berlín is walkable and very close to the Frida Khalo Museum. The streets are beautiful and safe (a lot of private security). My favorite part of the trip was walking Coyoacán in the mornings. We found a good vegan restaurant with Mexican food we highly recommend.

PATRICIA (4/5): - Lo que se ofrece via portal, no es lo que corresponde a la estancia ya que el baño huele a caño, la TV no funciona y se escuchan las pisadas de la parte de arriba en todo momento, por lo que es pesado conciliar el sueño.

Victoria (4/5): Not a hotel let alone boutique… - We booked the pink twin bedroom in the phot only to be told it wasn’t available when we arrived. We were given a bedroom with two beds one of which wasn’t even a bed . It had a huge mountain in the center impossible to sleep on … They put a pad over it after complaining but nothing could improve it . Finally after 2 or 3 nights of misery we were moved to the pink room. Beds were comfortable but there was no window. We shouldn’t have been charged for the horrible couple of nights with the unusable bed. This is NOT a hotel. It’s a house that’s being used as such. And it is by no means boutique!!

Emily (8/5): 👍 - Beautiful place to stay! I was there over Christmas eve and it was a little noisy, but fine if you have ear plugs. Great location for Coyoacán! Good places to eat that weren’t too far of a walk
Thiruchcenduran (8/5): Enjoyed my stay! - It's a family owned business. Host was super friendly And helpful. 10 diffrent sized rooms for your needs. You need to climb stairs (about 20 to 50 stairs based on where is your room is located). Decent location with decent access.

Me hospedé en un cuarto que era el más pequeño de todos pero a la vez muy económico, sin duda el precio es un regalo para la ubicación y los servicios. Voy a regresar muy seguido!!!

Verified traveler (8/5): Great staff and location. Very cute . Bad bed. - Place was very cute and clean, though a bit small. Our only real complaint was the bed mattress. It’s only about 2-3 inches thick and hard as a rock and sits on top of wood. Made it difficult to sleep comfortably. Could also use access to more pillows as they weren’t comfortable either. Get a real mattress and this place could be amazing. Staff was thoughtful and friendly. Place was beautiful. Balcony was a plus. Great location too

Lisa (10/5): A quiet haven in beautiful Coyoacàn - This place is lovely, we stayed here around Dia de Muertos and felt very welcomed. The hosts were very kind and took good care of us. Coyoacán is a beautiful, friendly, and safe neighborhood and our room was perfect for 3 people. Very quiet, this is not a place to come if you're a partier. Having a private bathroom with hot water is such a treat. The only complaint we had is that the bathroom smelled a bit, but we figured out that was because the sink does not have a P-Trap. After we put a the drain cap from the shower over the sink drain there were no longer any issues. Overall we felt very lucky to have such a wonderful place to retreat to after each day.
