She couldn't find our reservation that was done through a third party because they sent my name in backwards. She got us a room and also saved us more money by just reserving it through the Hilton website. Really appreciate that she went beyond the call of duty. Not sure

Very large, plenty of closet & storage space, pull out sofa in the living room as well as a desk, dinner table, coffee table, ottoman, kitchen was FULLY stocked with everything from complete set of nice glass dishes & utensils to cleaning supplies, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, I can't go on enough about the room itself. If I ever had to stay away for an extended time, I would DEFINITELY go back here!! The girl who checked us in could've been friendlier. She wasn't rude exactly, but you could tell she'd rather have been anywhere else doing anything else. When I went downstairs to my car, she was sitting in the lobby watching something on her phone. I waited for her to notice me standing there and when she didn't I just asked if they offered monthly or extended stay rates. At first she looked confused but then said no, they only offer nightly rates. Seriously??

Room smelled like smoke although it states it’s a non smoking floor. They tried to cover up smell with cleaners but then just smelt like smoky cleaning chemicals. Asked for room cleaning when we left for a day and wasn’t done. But it was safe and secure. Breakfast wasn’t very good either. Wouldn’t recommend.

- jbwhitehouse (2/5): The Fleabag Experience - Such a disappointment! From the exterior, Home2 Suites Baytown looks very nice and inviting with outside seating and colorful decor. Reading the reviews and rating, we thought this would be a good location. For the record, we are long-standing Hilton Honors members and if you look at our prior reviews, you will see they are overwhelmingly positive. This experience was, most unfortunately, different. Prior reviews tooted the excellent exercise equipment. We were excited, but our experience trying to use the facility was the opposite. The room was unbearably hot. The thermostat did not work. The desk employee wearing a backwards baseball cap said "oh, yeah, we know it's broken." Apparently this is not a new situation. Exercising in an effectively sealed, hot box is not appropriate. Management--fix the thermostat and/or get a fan and/or get a room air conditioner. Our room (302) looked attractive and we appreciated the full kitchen. What we did not appreciate is the leaking air conditioner that made the carpeting soaked. This is clearly not a new occurrence as the area on the underside of the a/c was rusting. Alas, the flow from the bathroom sink was marginal, whereas the flow from the shower was excessively strong. Breakfast looked depleted, because it was. As but one of the many examples-- Where is the milk for our cereal we ask. "No more milk until the truck comes in who-knows-when". Management: go to the nearby grocery and buy milk! That holds for the other necessary supplies. The bowls and utensils were a strange mixture of disposable and non-disposable. Apples were the only fruit. No bananas or oranges or other option. We will not return to this Hilton property and we suggest you don't bother either.

I changed rooms 4 times, twice on the 2nd floor and twice on the 4th floor because of the smell. The first room smelled like something died in the pipes. The next two had an old mildew smell and the forth room had a nasty brown stain on the top comforter and an old dirty stick from an ice cream bar beside the nightstand. This is not the Hilton way but this is one hotel that I will never ever return too. Let’s end on a positive, the staff at front desk were amazing every time I came downstairs. - Jimmy (8/5): Enjoyable, relaxing and pleasant. - The staff were wonderful. Very accommodating and helpful. Convenient location. The commode was terrible. They are so low that once seated I had to get on my hands and knees to get up. We are seniors and have typical elderly mobility issues but in this case we had to help each other get up from the commode! The last time we stayed there was the same thing. The AC in the room would shut off in the middle of the night and the room would turn into a sauna. We had to get up and turn it back on.

- Brad (8/5): Everything was great we enjoyed our visit everybody was pleasant and made checking in fast and easy - Customer service was great Breakfast was late Saturday so we were late leaving and it was not that good beacon burned and the sausage had so much seasoning on it it was red the waffles were good you don't have regular syrup unless you pour it in a cup the hash browns are cold and soggy both mornings everything else was great
- Verified traveler (10/5): Perfect - Room was very spacious perfect for our family. The room was set at the perfect temperature when we arrived and they even had a welcome sign on the tv for me. Thought it was very special.

- Alice (9/5): I feel it was a good choice in hotels although I wish I could have gotten my Hilton Honors points. They told me to do it - Very clean, well maintained, no traffic noise. Coffee was good. Air conditioner made strange noises. There could have been more breakfast choices other than microwaved food, like muffins or sweet rolls.

- lisasZ4693ZA (2/5): Worst Hilton experience ever - Air conditioner broken in the room. I didn’t sleep at all bc I just laid their sweating. My kids were asleep so I didn’t try to change rooms. There was hair all over the bathroom counter (not ours). Breakfast was lacking. And the tiles in the elevator were coming up. I don’t even think some were still attached as they wiggled when you stepped on them.
