Some cutlery would be useful but when we asked for some, they immediately provided them for us. We were very pleased with our stay in Masseria San Cosimo!
• Iva (10/5): Superb! - Perfection I’m so happy we picked this accommodation. Our hosts were lovely, always there if we needed anything. Breakfast was great! Half of the food is on the table and the other half is ordered. We tried focaccia and sandwiches which they make later in the day, everything was perfect! The property is surrounded by greenery and there is a light music for great atmosphere. The pool is big and has enough deck chairs. The best accommodation on this trip! Would highly recommend.

The pool is the biggest plus, it’s absolutely beautiful. Very relaxing stay, secure parking, close to Otranto approx 15 minutes, supermarkets also close by. • Thierry (10/5): Amazing Masseria! - The masseria is pure paradise. It's a quiet place to stay and rest. Maria Rosa and Salvatore are very kind and available to help. They do everything for your stay to be more than pleasant. The room are spacious, very clean, very nice and fresh which is appreciated in this area :-). The pool and garden are amazing. Would you want to taste the local product, go for the aperitive plate. They will bring you Spritz or Salvatore's bio wine with amazing cold cuts and cheese. Delicious.

• Daan (9/5): Superb - The Masseria is in an old historic farm, but renovated at the inside to a high modern standard. We loved the whole setting and specially the great pool an surroundings. The staff is very polite and helpful. When we arrived our booked ordinary room wasn't ready, than we had an upgrade to the suite: we loved that! The breakfast is great, you can choose from the menu and it is prepared fresh in the kitchen. At our second day we also had some fresh lunch, and it was great! Fresh salad from the garden and nice cheeses. That was one off the reasons booking an extra night. But unfortunately the next day the afternoon service was out off order because of staff reasons. That's why we graded with a 9, otherwise it would have definitely be a 10. Overall we had a great and pleasant time here! Thank you!

We felt like we plunged into a small paradise altogether, very relaxing. The owners are exceptional: they make it feel like a family home and truly care about their guest. The bedrooms are grand, airy, with wide windows and the beds are super comfortable (I'm very picky with beds - cant stand it when it's too small or bouncy. Those were wide, firm enough, good pillows. We slept like logs). Bathroom was very large. Best value for money we've had in a long, long time. what's not to like?

• Miray (10/5): The best holiday in Salento! - We liked everything about this Masseria! The hosts Maria Rosa and Salvatore did an amazing effort to make our holiday comfortable, relaxing. We have 2 kids ( age 12 and 5) they were in love with the swimming pool. The breakfast is amazing. We had everyday freshly made pastries and cakes which were the best we ate so far:)The masseria is so beautiful, and tranquil. The rooms were so spacious and clean. All in all it was a great holiday and we will definitely come back! There is nothing we did not like.

Breakfast was a bit simple with lots of cake/sweets and not a lot of saltier and/or healthier options. Difficult to communicate with staff if you do not speak italian, as they to not speak English, but you get far with google translate :)

• Anonymous (10/5): Poolside heaven in Salento! - So relaxing! The rooms are clean and spacious, the beds were comfy and the whole complex feels like a renovated farm mansion - it’s gorgeous! The pool are is honestly sublime. We could have stayed there for weeks! The hosts are so welcoming and friendly too - always offering us coffees when we needed a pick me up! Nothing - superb stay!

• Richard (9/5): We stayed for 10 nights mid September. The location is perfect for visiting all or any of Salento. No problem to visit a - Clean, spacious and well looked after. Lovely big room with ample space for the suitcases. Breakfast was varied and even included fruit picked off a tree in the grounds. Not much to say about what we didn’t like. The only possible negative could be the lack of English speaking staff so we were unable to get recommendations for restaurants etc.

We couldn't have hoped for a better choice: the atmosphere is magical, enhanced by a great location, perfect service, clean environment, and superb local food. • werner (10/5): Super B&B with all facilities, ideal location - This is the ideal location for excursions toward Lecce, Galatina and Otranto and the coast. Well stuffed buffet breakfast with excellent Italian coffee in all its variations. We've also enjoyed the wonderful pool. Several quality restaurants and trattorias nearby. Special thanks to our host Maria Rosa who prepared a small breakfast with coffee and tea at 6 AM when we had to leave early for our flight to Brussels.
