Checked in, was forced to pay a 40$ parking fee eventhough none was available after payment. Worse is we came in to sleep around 8am. Asked front desk staff for a late checkout at 1pm. Offered to pay a fee cuz we needed rest before an 8 hour trip to Canada. She had to talk with her boss before final approval but assured us we will be allowed to rest till midday. These ladies started knocking at our door at 10am. Then 11am. She scolded me on phone to checkout before 12, eventhough we requested late checkout. I don’t have energy typing, but don’t waste your precious time and $& to go there. Not only it’s too expensive for what you get, the staff need to go back to their manners classes
• Samuel (10/5): Great price without any sacrifices. - The value for the price is incredible. The lobby and rooms were so clean. The staff was incredibly friendly. I met Alexis, mopping lobby and he is the kind of staff that guests remember. Kind, cheerful person.

Everything was clean and neat. I really appreciated the week prior Maria taking the time show me a room before my booking. The few minutes she took to carefully answer my questions was the reason for me choosing this hotel over a different hotel. The breakfast options could have been better. I like the waffle maker. However, the daily offerings for a hot breakfast were eggs and pork sausage.

• Sara (6/5): It was fine. - The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was great. My kids loved the waffle maker! The room was clean, and the crew cleaned it each day while we were gone. We stayed on the second floor. The entire floor reeked of marijuana for two of the three nights we stayed there, despite it being a smoke-free premises. The smell was seeping through the door and the vent in the bathroom. Also, the TV in the room kept losing signal. We were on the highway side of the hotel, and it was extremely loud. I would definitely request a room on the other side of the hotel. It would be nice to have a small convenience store in the hotel to sell snacks, ice cream, protein drinks, etc., since I wasn't about to venture out into the Bronx at night to find some.

• Joyce (8/5): The hotel was okay for short stays, easy access to the highway. - Close to the highway making it easy to get into Manhattan. Would appreciate if it was more of a variety with the continental breakfast. Stores and restaurants were a distance away.

• terrydE9466VS (10/5): Superb hospitality - This is a 10 out of 10 and an affordable hotel especially in the bronx. The train station is 2 blocks away to go to the city and a bus stop as well. Public transportation is accessible. I gave the hotel the benefit of the doubt when i 1st booked i was hesitant to go to the bronx. I'm SO GLAD I did it's sooooooo affordable i wish I've known about this hotel earlier on. I was staying in Manhattan and my gosh it was so expensive but this place rooms are spacious, clean, microwave and fridge available, parking lot on site. Staff is super sweet, friendly, warm and accommodating. Superb hospitality my kids and I enjoyed our stay here. No one bothers you in the neighborhood, the hotel is clean. Housekeeping is on que I have no complaints. The a.c. had a Lil urinated odor for some reason but went away after awhile. I'd suggest if you're looking for a place for a reasonable and i mean inexpensive price and comfortable this is the place to be. Breakfast is served complimentary every morning but needs a change sausage and egg cheese everyday loses its value, before i forget the hotel has a Lil gym as well. Don't waste your money downtown in Manhattan if you want to that's fine. If you have family this is a plus. Thank me later.

Our second night the front desk staff weren’t that professional, very rude, and not welcoming.

• NCDLT (4/5): Everything was fantastic until.... - This property is very neatly and nicely positioned with the Bronx area. Very nice accommodations for NYC visitors... All staff was very pleasant except one lady at the desk, Linda!!! Omg, I arrived at hotel on Tuesday morning before check-in time and she presented very ugly. But me having worked in hotels before, I assumed I was wrong and paid it very little attention; left my bags and came back later to checkin to my suite room. I did not see her all week but enjoyed pleasant interacting with Maria the housekeeping supervisor, as well as breakfast attendants, other fd staff, security, and housemen. Today, on checkout, Linda returns to work. Checkout here is 11am but since my profile will update to Platinum, I requested a noon checkout. I saw Linda walking thru the breakfast area, after leaving the staff restroom and I called for her. Maybe she didnt hear me so breakfast attendant called her by name, she turned, gave us an evil eye and continued her journey. There were no guest waiting at the desk, she simply did not want to be bothered. After completing my food, I walked to desk and requested the late checkout. She said ok and we walked away. While waiting for elevator, she consistently gave myself and my companion and evil stare until the elevator door closed. I really dont think the hospitality industry is a career and personality match for this person. Maybe a budding career in construction is a more appropriate fit.

• Shermanni (8/5): Comfy bed beautiful facilities but staff is rude and they lied. And don’t want to help me get my money back. - The bed was soooooooo comfortable I was lied to. I booked with booking.com but the checking wasn’t until 3pm I needed to get an early check in and was charged 131$ plus 100$ deposit plus the 148$ booking.com charged me I was told before I got there I would only be charged a few extra dollars for early check in. That was incorrect.

• Victoria (1/5): - I liked the room space. They consist with cleaning (collecting dirty towels, garbage) and you need to talk to front desk for housekeeping to complete their job. They consistently have warm juices and water from the dispensers. The pork sausages (same everyday) aren't properly cooked. The is always the same everyday. You have to collect cups for drinking downstairs because housekeeping doesn't put them in rooms. These issues cause guests to consistently purchase water from vending machines $2 in order to have cold water to drink. Housekeeping staff are rude and tell you to be quiet in the hallways when your not loud near elevator. I am very disappointed and will never stay there again or recommend this place to anyone.
